If you watched the BCS championship game you might have noticed that 73 year old announcer Brent Musburger was a little enamored over Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb who is also the girlfriend of the Alabama quarterback. Brent had said that quarterbacks get all the good looking women when the cameras showed her. Brent then said that if you are a kid you should go to your backyard right now and start throwing a football so you can get a woman like Katherine. ESPN apologized saying that Musburger went too far, but Katherine was grateful for the publicity. She went from 2400 Twitter followers to 125,000 in about 3 hours because of the attention. She will probably get a reality show from this now or some other chance to make big bucks other than being the girlfriend of a quarterback.
Eh, Musburger being a skeezy old man is old news. I always think he's annoying as hell, and am praying he'll retire soon, but I honestly didn't think his comments the other night were any different that the dribble he usually spouts, and certainly weren't apology-worthy.

Laura Quinn Hawk became famous when she attended the Fiesta Bowl several years ago. Her brother Brady played QB for Notre Dame and her BF AJ Hawk was a linebacker for Ohio State.
