Erika Christensen Tries To Explain Scientology - Says They Don't Worship Rabbits

For someone who has been in the religion since she was a child, Erika Christensen doesn't really seem to be able to explain their beliefs very well.

  1. She speaks Scio pretty good. "It's the study of study, the knowing of knowingness. It's the access of beingness in the havingness of the knowingness, too, and the study of how to study the knowingness of beingness."

  2. It's odd that she's explaining all the ground-level entry-level stuff, the stuff that isn't so weird that you would run screaming from the org as soon as they say it. It's like she's been trained to talk about the subject for an audience of non-Scientologists ....

  3. I hate that she's a Scientologist because I love her on Parenthood and want her to be safe and away from those crazies.

  4. I couldn't bring myself to watch this, so thanks, Barton Fink for the summary!

If anyone's interested, Paul Haggis is being interviewed tonight on Rock Center (NBC) at 10:00 pm. Looks interesting.

  5. funny she doesn't mention that it costs about $250,000 to go up the ladder. And of course they don't worship rabbits, Xenu wouldn't have it.

  9. I haven't watched this, after watching Nancy Many's story last night the sight of any Scientologist just makes me angry, BUT rabbits? Seriously? Who the hell ever thought they worshipped rabbits?

  12. The wannabe quasi-intellectual description she tried to use not only roundly means nothing, but also made my head hurt.

  16. I think I'd appreciate them more if they worshiped rabbits. Rabbits are awesome. It would be better than worshiping a failed science fiction writer.

Nothing is ever going to make them sound like they are rational and healthy.

  19. I could not get through this video, my thoughts kept running back to the movie traffic where she is babbling away while on heroin...so eerily similar!

I watched Nancy Many's story on the ID channel last night about Scientology.
She joined in 1971 when she was just 20 yrs old. What a story !
If you get a chance to watch it, do so.
And who the hell thinks Scientologists worship rabbits ?!?? Nobody, Erika... Idiot.

  22. I just can't anymore with the Scios, but I will fuck with them if I see them on a street corner or at a kiosk at a convention. Psssst! Come with me! I'll take you to a safe house! Though I don't know what I'd do if one of those poor saps takes me up on my offer.

  25. I'm not defending Scientology at all, but I have to say that most adherents of any religion do a bad job at trying to explain it to non-believers. Most people have never even read the holy book they supposedly ascribe their beliefs to. It doesn't surprise me that Scientologists are the same.

  29. I don't believe there are Buddhist Scientologists. I call Bullshite. That makes no sense. Also, I dislike Erika Christensen, even though I don't know her personally.
