Elin Nordegren Is Taking Tiger Woods Back

If you believe The Enquirer, then you will also believe that Elin Nordegren is reuniting with Tiger Woods and taking him back. They say in the report that Tiger is willing to give her half his fortune if he strays again and some kind of upfront payment too. So, yes, he is basically buying her if you want to get technical. Elin already got $110M the first time around and seems to be having a pretty idyllic life. From what I can see, she basically spends all day at the beach while people build her dream house which should be completed sometime in the next 10 years. At that point she will be bored and sell it and have to take a loss but will be featured on Million Dollar Listing - Florida which will exist at that point and fall in love with one of the brokers who used to play hockey for Sweden and they will have triplet boys who they will name Lars. I could actually see Elin and Tiger getting back together. There has been time to calm things down and she was pretty open before, but just didn't want to be humiliated in the media. Plus, they do have two kids together.

      In reality, I hope I would have enough presence of mind to act dignified for the sake of my children. But I don't think I can promise anything. Men who act like dirty dogs in their marriage, especially with children in the mix, deserve to feel all the pain their wife can dish out.

    I think Tiger has made some good changes. He has been humbled both personally and professionally in the last few years and I think he realizes he fucked up big time. As a wise man once sang: "Don't know what you got til it's gone..."

    Elin knew what Tiger was doing. Maybe not to what degree he went, but the primary reason she left him was because it became public.

    A lot of these golfers lead secret lives. They're rich, travel the world in private jets to make millions just for showing up, and golfing groupies down for whatever. Tiger isn't the only one, just the one who got caught. For now.

    Like Vanessa Bryant realized, Elin is missing the spotlight. Being rich is nice. Being rich AND famous is want most want. Elin is just the ex-wife now. If she doesn't get back with Tiger, watch her hook up with some other athlete.

    @Maya, I think you are so right on. I don't remember this part of the story, but didn't he come out and say she was the love of his life and he screwed up, because he could? I seem to recall something like that. I'm not excusing his behavior, at all, but I'm wonder if he is really sort of a lost soul without her? Maybe she's the one who kept him in line, while others promoted and helped him cheat? Nothing can touch me, I'm Tiger Freakin' Woods! And then his wife left him and his world crashed in around him. Now he wants her back.
    Maybe I'm a hopeless romantic, or I believe in soul mates, or something like that.
    Anyway, in a way, I hope this story is true. I also hope 30 years from now they are on a talk show talking about how the time apart is what made them stronger, etc.

    IF there is truth to this, I won't have any sympathy when he cheats on her again (not that she's looking for my sympathy). Sticking it out for the kids, in a lot of cases, is NOT good for the kids. They can tell when something is wrong; they're sensitive.

    I think he's hoping he'll get his game back. I think she wants her babies to have their daddy back. I'm sure there is still affection between them, at least, and she's had time to cool off.     Hopefully this is all about the money and not about her actually believing him when he says that he won't cheat again. People can change, but i highly doubt that a fellow who cheated with hundreds (didn't they figure out that is how many women there were?) of women can change his philandering ways.

    She's got as much money as she could ever want. But you know what she doesn't have? Is love. And the father of her children. If she can put it behind her and try again with him, then that's between them. I would be willing to be that he would cheat again, although quietly and on a much smaller scale. But she's tried living without him, and if she wants him back, and they're happy together, the I say more power to them, she's the one that has to decide if she can live with the hurt, she must really, really, truly love him.

I have no idea if his endorsements were negatively affected by the scandal but if they DO get back together I feel it will be a business arrangement to boost his public image. He has refused to give kids autographs and is a cheap tipper. Besides being a cheat and a womanizer, he is just not a nice person.

    Why would he cheat again? Dude can get all the ass (and even all the ass-to-ass) he wants, and if that's what he wanted then why go back? His image is recovering nicely and he will never be hurting for money. A clue to how he has grown as a person is his relationship with Rory McIlroy. Old Tiger would never have been palling around with his heir apparent. If he wants to be back together with Elin I think it is because he loves her and misses being with her. You can love people and still do wrong by them, especially if like Tiger you have lived in a bubble that skewed your sense of right and wrong. Why do we say "Oh poor so-and-so child actor..." but Tiger doesn't get a pass? His father was every bit as bad a stage parent as anything to come out of Hollyweird.

    I believe people can change too but the guy didn't cheat once!! It was multiple times! That means he didn't feel any guilt if he kept doing it. I think he just wants his family guy reputation back.

    @ just curious, that's a very interesting observation. I know personally I dislike Tiger because of the multiple cheatings, once can be forgiven but I lost count how many women came forward and Chris really did a number on Rihanna. As for David Letterman, he's not my favorite person either, I don't watch his show regularly, I'm still sleeved out by that scandal with his staff and the blackmail.

    I live in Jupiter. My boss's mom was pumping gas recently at a gas station and realized that Tiger was @ the pump next to her. He couldn't have been nicer; he let her take his picture and I've heard stuff like this from others. Maybe he's grown out of some of his dickishness.

    I think people can change. Maybe he's done a lot of growing up in the meantime, and he must miss his children terribly. I believe people can change. There is a part of an athlete that is highly disciplined (no I don't mean that kind) and maybe he can apply those principles to his marriage.
