Chloe Grace Moretz
Chloe Moretz
Elle Fanning?
Elle Fanning?
Gotta be Chloe. She is going to be a lot of trouble when she's older if she's pulling this now.
chloe has done multiple guest spots on 30 Rock, doesn't quite fit the all movie label.
My first thought was Chloe, but she's going to be 16 in February; Elle is going to be 15 in April. "Barely into her teens" sounds like someone who is 13/14.
Not Chloe, she's way to into TV to be all movie. Knowing that Enty likes to mix things up, however, I still don't think this is her.
I see what you're saying Karen, but I don't think Elle even attended the awards. I only found pictures of her at last years but Chloe is all over the blogs with her neon yellow dress from last night.
Chloe also was really annoying on the podium!! She kept showing how nervous/fidgety she was. So annoying. Waste of TV time
Nope, MacKenzie Foy, who plays Renesme, the daughterof Bella and Edward. She just.recently turned 13 in November. I believe she was at the event in question.....
Not sure if she was there, but has anyone considered Abigail Breslin? Although she may be more like A list since she was nom'd for an Oscar
Bailee Madison
Would Mackenzie Foy really be B list? She's been in two awful movies in relatively minor roles, and has appeared in single episodes of five different shows that no one I know watches.
Sounds a lot more like Chloe.
MacKenzie is 12, not 13.
Bingo.
No Twilight stars were there. I'm sticking with Moretz
I'm trying to figure out if there's anything people at this and other gossip sites won't accuse Moretz of. Is murder off the table? Jezzus Christ folks, if you knew anything about her you'd be embarrassed. Maybe.
@sav
Is there something you can share about Chloe without betraying a confidence? It's pretty clear you know her or work with her in some capacity. Something kind, of course!
I don't think it's Chloe. I saw her present and I think she just comes across as shy, but that's just my two cents. Hmm, I don't have a guess though.
Sunny,
Sorry, I don't know her personally or work with her. I do know quite a bit about her, however. Not sure why she's the one people are determined to force into a Lohanesque role, but it's entirely laughable.
BTW, going back to this blind, Chloe didn't come with a "guest," just her brother who routinely holds her hand in public to keep her safe. But I'm sure he brought some booze along for her.
@Darkmyst, Mackenzie had a birthday November 20, 2012. It was her 13th birthday. Well according to Google.
I'm curious to why Chloe Moretz is a blind item star. I never hear about her except through blinds. Did I miss something at some point?
Andycane,
No you didn't miss anything. About a year and a half ago commenters here and at other gossip sites starting throwing her name out and it steamrolled into the mess it is today. You name it, she's been accused of it (drugs, alcohol, racism, promiscuity, sex with men twice her age, affairs with Johnny Depp and Martin Scorsese (yes, really)....
There seems to be a desire to find a "new Lohan" to talk about and they've picked her. I believe some of that is due to her mature movie roles and the fact that she has tended to dress older at times. She's probably the most high profile of all the teens out there too which doesn't help. She attends a lot of events and I think her name simply comes to peoples' minds first as a result.
As I said above, if people actually followed her closely they'd be apoplectic at the gossip thrown her way.
Sav, that's unfortunate that she gets labeled that way, then. Always thought she seemed like a pleasant, coherent person myself.
Did someone REALLY say Abigail Breslin?? LOL.
People guess Chloe in a lot of blinds and, in almost each case, someone gets pissed about it.
Yep. Something about Chloe apparently really brings the white knighters out of the woodwork.
There are blinds all the time, some with twenty-plus names floated as possibilities, most of them incorrect guesses. It doesn't end careers or ruin anyone's chances of an advantageous match (sorry, read lots of old romance novels when I was a teen.) Why it's such a great goddamn tragedy that anyone thinks anything bad about Chloe Moretz (who, actually? Probably has a few faults and has done a few not-so-nice things, like every other human being on earth,) I will never know.
She had the potty mouth in Kick Ass, I suppose it made folks think she's bad. She's a very cute girl. I hope she's not the subject of these blinds, I loved her in Dark Shadows.
poovey-tunt,
I can't speak to the blinds involving adults, but Moretz is nearly always the key and final suspect in ones about teens/tweens. I could give you links to items and posts here and a dozen other sites, comment sections on YouTube, Tumblr, and various forms of social media as a result of gossip.
Incidentally, there's a difference between a 13-15 year-old having faults and, say, sleeping with grown men, being an alcoholic, a drug user, or just a lousy human being. Nobody is claiming she or anyone else is an angel.
Sav, there are indeed posters who have claimed exactly that.
People are still going to guess her for blinds, though, no matter how nice she may be, no matter how many times you come and tut tut at them and tell them they'd be embarrassed if they knew her like YOU know her. They're going to guess other youngsters, too, but I guess that won't upset you too much, from the looks of things here.
poovey-tunt,
I have yet to see anyone say Moretz is without flaws. Maybe a few defended her by saying she seems nice or some such but that isn't the same thing.
As for what upsets me, I don't want any of them to be falsely maligned. But I don't know any of the others well, and while I'm sure most of them aren't any more guilty of this stuff than Moretz is, I can't really speak to their innocence or character. Having said all that, nobody--I repeat nobody--has been maligned like Moretz in the teen/tween group the past 16 months. I don't know how long you've been around here, but if you've read all those blinds and posts, you'd know that.
I think it's nice that someone is willing to stick up for a stranger, but if you want the truth, I have a 16 year old daughter that lives with me, and I would have a hard time attesting that she is that much of an angel even in the absence of proof to the contrary.
She's a good kid, gets pretty good grades, and rarely gets into trouble. BUT every time I see her Facebook page or inadvertently read her texts I am appalled.
In other words, while your fandom is cool, you don't know her either.
Sarah, what does your daughter's questionable online comments have to do with what has been leveled at Moretz?
Are you saying you wouldn't be the least bit surprised if your daughter was having sex, having sex with adult men, drinking, using drugs, and making racist and vicious comments to people because of her texts?
Are you saying because your daughter isn't an angel it would be okay for people to level those kinds of assertions at her without an iota of proof? You'd have no problem with that?
Of all the blinds believed to be Chloe, this one, at least, is the tamest. I think she is an amazing actress, so I definitely don't want her to go down the road of LL.
And Miley Cyrus, who I have worked with, gets loads of crap. Miley is awesome, consider me in her middle aged fan club. I love Chloe Moritz on the screen, I also hope she doesn't stroll down that path, but if she has done anything, its just a clear case of "juvenile endangerment."
