Blind Item #3
This B- list actor who is an Academy Award winner/nominee was at an event out of the country recently. As part of his contract he requested that a staff of 5 women be available 24 hours a day to have sex with him. The country where our actor was visiting has legal prostitution so the A list company said sure and had the women available to him. I'm guessing they don't want their very rich, female customers to know about this little transaction.
Someone at the Berlin Fashion Week? Is prostitution legal there? Off to the google!
ReplyDeleteI'm struggling to figure out what the customer base would be. Very rich and female suggests couture but why would a male B- actor be attending something related to that? I think couture is generally private anyway, it's not like the typical fashion shows.
ReplyDeleteYep, it's legal in Germany. But the only male celeb pic I'm coming up with is Jared Leto, and he's not Academy Award nominated. Hmmm.....

ReplyDelete@lola sorry, I didn't express myself very well. The very rich female suggested haute couture to me, which is specific to Paris and usually has a different audience to the more normal fashion shows/generic couture.

ReplyDeleteJust because you win an oscar, doesn't make you an automatic A list for life. Sharon Stone won an oscar, she used to be A list, and she is now a B. Actors/Actresses drop or gain stature with demand or lesser demand.
ReplyDeleteA list is a person who is the main draw to see a movie. Example "hey..did you see that new Tom Cruise movie?" Tom Cruise is A list. You wouldn't say "Hey...did you see that new Kristen Bell movie?" A Kristen Bell movie will only do well or be a major draw if she were coupled with another B list or A list actor. That's what defines a B list.
A list can carry a movie on their own, B list can carry a movie coupled with another big name, but not on their own.

ReplyDelete@Me, the wording needn't be in the contract / tech rider explicitly. It can be via a direct communication with the booking agent.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a small ents company in Asia, but because we had a couple of good contacts in big agencies, we used to get asked to look at stuff that ordinarily I would say was out of our budget.
One A-list magician, I'd guess you'd call him, was after a lot of stuff (chauffeur driven limo, on call), but he wanted a female personal assistant available to him 24/7 as well - even specifying body attributes.
We weren't even remotely interested in booking the past-it pile of communicable diseases psychotic dwarf, but I still felt like emailing his agent a list of "clarifications" about his perfect female PA (bareback, anal, ladyboy ok - it is Asia?)

Count Jerkula, in some parts of Asia there's folklore about a demon that takes the lives of young men whilst they sleep. It's basically Sudden Adult Death Syndrome as we'd know it. So a lot of them dress/live as women to try to deceive this demon.
