Your Turn
Favorite Christmas song and it can't be DMX singing Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer.

Oh Holy Night. :)
Feliz Navidad
O Holy Night- gets my vote!
Mariah Carey's All I Want for Christmas is You
I'm a sucker for Mariah Carey's
"All I Want For Christmas Is You"
@FSP - ditto. Makes me dance in my car!
Otis Redding's version of White Christmas. I like the sad ones.
Favorite song to sing aloud to is "Let it Snow." Favorite song to hear someone else sing is probably "O Holy Night."
Merry Christmas Darling by the Carpenters.
I also really enjoy "Charlie Brown Christmas" by Vince Guaraldi. It brings me back to my childhood!
@camembert - that one is mine as well.
4-way tie, depending on my mood:
NSYNC - "Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays"
Jose Feliciano - "Feliz Navidad"
Mariah Carey - "All I Want For Christmas Is You"
Percy Faith - "We Need a Little Christmas"
I like my Christmas songs upbeat :)
Last Christmas by WHAM
1.Mariah Carey: All I want for Xmas is Yuuuuuuu!
2. Nat King Cole: Merry Christmas to you.
3. Sleigh Ride
I love all the Xmas songs and sing them all through the season to the point of other people around me ask me to give it a rest. I'm one of those annoyingly happy perky positive people. Most of the time. " Our cheeks are niiice and ROsy and COMfy cozy are weeeeeee! We're snuggled UP TOgether like TWO birds of a feather are weeeee!" Probably not the right lyrics, but that makes it more fun anyways.
Last Christmas by Wham and What
Child Is This
Oh and the theme from Christmas Vacation for fun!
It Came Upon A Midnight Clear. We used to watch Little Women (the old one) around Christmas time. They sang the song in it. I made a point to learn it as a kid.
Dashing through the snow. I am I hope it snows here soon!!
"Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer"
Carol of the Bells
Domenic the italian Xmas Donkey :)
Tom Waits - "Christmas Card From A Hooker In Minneapolis"
Traditional - O Holy Night.
Contemporary - hard to pick just one, so I'll offer up 2000 Miles by The Pretenders and I Believe in Christmas by Greg Lake. (Or is it, I Believe in Father Christmas?)
Silver Bells by Bing Crosby
Fairytale of New York - The Pogues
I can tell you my least favorite--the new rendition of "baby it's cold outside" by Colbie Caillat and Gavin Degraw. Their voices don't mesh well...kinda like nails on a chalkboard. Unfortunately, it appears they're knocking boots, so we'll have to endure more of this in the future.
Tie:
John Berry's version of O Holy Night
Whitney Houston's Do you hear what I hear
I love Carol of the Bells too. While I enjoy the contemporary Christmas music (White Christmas, Let it Snow, All I need for Christmas is You) I really love the old carols like Joy to the World, O Little Town of Bethlehem, etc. Brings back my childhood, especially being in Christmas pageants in Catholic school. Good times.
And is it just me, or is Gavin DeGraw really skeezy? He comes across so fake and disingenuous to me. Can't believe she dumped her boyfriend for him. But I digress... ;)
I'm partial to "Merry Christmas, Darling" by the Carpenters.
The entire Elvis Presley Christmas album.
And O Holy Night.
I am also in love with Silent Night because my son wants me to sing it to him virtually every night when he goes to sleep. It's our lullaby.
"Last Christmas" by Wham! *L* Must be with the video though, it is deliciously cheesy and awesome. I am a lifelong choir geek and a general holiday enthusiast, so I kind of love all Christmas songs. And also, Adam Sandler's Hannukah song. I am an equal opportunity nerd.
This Christmas ....Donny Hathaway
Christmas Wrapping by The Waitresses!!!!!
RIP, Patty Donahue
What song is she talking about? The punky one that goes...
Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!
But I think I'll miss this one this year.
Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!
But I think I'll miss this one this year.
Merry Christmas! Merry Christmas!
But I think I'll miss this one this year.
That one. You now have the song in your head all day. You're welcome.
Judy Garland "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas".
Merry Xmas Everybody by Slade
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday by Wizzard
Last Christmas by Wham
Fairytale of New York by The Pogues & Kirsty McColl
Boney M - Mary's Boy Child
Elvis - Blue Christmas
Also, Jon Bon Jovi- Please Come Home For Christmas is my other favorite.
Jingle Bell Rock.
Giddy up jingle horse pick up your feet...
Pretenders - 2000 Miles
Joan Jett - Little Drummer Boy
Feels like Christmas - Cyndi Lauper
Merry Christmas - John Williams
Cold, Cold Christmas - Stephen Colbert
The entire Bing Crosby "White Chritmas" album is, to me, what the holidays sound like.
My fave contemporary Christmas song is "Merry Christmas from the Family", by Robert Earl Keene. Good times!
And Brenda Lee Christmas songs.
ITA w/Frufra on the White Christmas album.
Joy to the World is my favorite Christmas song.
Best by far:

I second MacAttack with "Fairytale of New York" by the Pogues.
Little Drummer Boy-Bowie/Crosby version
Last Christmas by Wham,as Maja mentioned for the video alone! :)
Winter Wonderland by Annie Lennox
Fairytale of New York, without a doubt!
This Christmas by Donny Hathaway is my all time favorite.
"Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney and Wings and "The Wassailing Song" by Blur are my favorites. They remind me of Christmas in the UK.
Also love "Merry Xmas Everybody" and "Christmas Wrapping!"
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Beach Boys "Little Saint Nick!"
I still have my Mom's old Christmas records and bring them out every year. My favorite one is an all-orchestral one (Andre Kostelantz(sp?).
And the Vince Guaraldi "Charlie Brown Christmas" is timeless...it's usually on repeat.
im a sucker for britney's "my only wish this year" and mariah's "all i want for christmas"
i also love "christmas shoes" even though it makes my cry every single time!
"this christmas" really gets me in the holiday mood too =)
oh and another one that i love but also makes me teary is "christmas" by mandy moore
Oh, and "Run, Run Rudolph" by Chuck Berry
"Good king wencelaus". Yeah i know. Nobody ever heard iof it but i love it.
Feed the Wold, Last Christmas (Wham), O Holy Night, Santa Baby (Eartha) and It's Cold Outside. I could listen to those on loop (said the person who worked in retail and thought I'd hate Christmas music 4EVAH)
My all time fave is "Do They Know It's Christmas" by Band Aid. Cheesy but I love it.
Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses. They knew what boys liked.
Oh yeah, Fairytale of New York by the Pogues. Dark but funny. "You scumbag you maggot.." not your usual Christmas song lyrics.
"I could have been someone!"
"Well so could anyone."

Wexford Carol by Allison Krauss and YoYo ma. Enjoy.
Thanks, @Terri, I really enjoyed that.
Just for fun... Merry Mambo Christmas - Cabaret Diosa.
Vince Vance and the Valiants - all I want for Xmas is you.
Danielle Car - Forget Santa, save your cookies for me.
Dixie Chicks - Merry Xmas from the Family.
Sorry, there is no Carol except for the DMX one.
That guy's awesome.
White Christmas Makes Me Blue, Randy Travis
Snoopy's Christmas, The Royal Guardsmen
Aspenglow and Coventry Carol, John Denver
Mary, Did You Know?, Kathy Mattea
Every single song Clint Black has on his Christmas CD
FruFru... Saw Robert Earl Keene in concert in Charlotte, and he sang that song. It was too cool!
@curlyhairslacker, get out of my 80s head. Those are my picks too
Merry Christmas Mary by Paul Overstreet
Santa on the Rooftop by Trisha Yearwood.
And..the best of all...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oOzszFIBcE
I am so glad you love it too!!! I was thinking I was the only one.
The whole New Kids on the Block Christmas album OBVIOUSLY.
Also, Mariah, the Phil Spector album, Fairytale of New York, Hark! The Herald Angel, Once in Royal David's City, O Little Town of Bethlehem. I also really like Lindsay Lohan's version of Jingle Bell Rock (I know, I know).
Oh yes, my Dad had a turntable version of The Christmas Polka, which I love. Can't find it on CD or download though.
Any christmas-y song being sung by Nat King Cole or Bing.
Carol of the Bells
Kenny Rogers and Wynonna Judd - Mary, did you know?
I heard it last year for the first time, and as corny as it sounds, the lyrics made me think of what a beautiful story the birth of Christ is. I’m not religious at all, so that was kind of a "moment" for me. Doesn't need to be a true story to be enjoyed. It's just beautiful.
Last Christmas is definitely my favorite. If you've ever worked retail during Chriatmas, you learn a lot of pop golden fried cheese Xmas tunes, but that obe I can listen to all year round!
Seriously? It's a tossup between "I Saw Daddy Kissing Santa Claus" and Gilda Radner's "I want an Alligator for Christmas".
I want to thank everyone for this fabulous holiday playlist!
Im surprised no one mentioned Burl Ives!
Dreidel Dreidel Dreidel
And Elvis - Santa Claus is Back in Town
"Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid (I'm an 80s girl).
Mele Kalikimaka - Bing Crosby. I've loved it since I was a kid.
White Christmas by Bing Crosby
The 12 Pains of Christmas - It reminds me of my dad having problems with the decorations & lights.
Donde Esta Santa Claus? - Augie Rios
Christmas Will Be Just Another Lonely Day - Brenda Lee
Christmas By The Phone - Good Charlotte
Tossup between Elvis' version of "Another Blue Christmas" and "Winter Wonderland" as sung by Johnny Mathis. Reminds me of the rare moments when my family got along in the 1970s.
Donny Hathaway - This Christmas
Aslin Debison - The Gift
Skydiggers - Good King Wenceslas
Mediaeval Baebes - Coventry Carol
Feed the wooooorld!
"All I Want For Christmas Is You" makes me really happy.
