Back in February I had a
blind item (which I revealed in July) which talked about what was shown on Real Housewives-Beverly Hills on Monday night. Yesterday,
wetpaint.com went a little bit further and said that not only was Adrienne Meloof's conception not natural, she actually she used a surrogate. So, why is that such a big deal to Adrienne? I mean Camille Grammer used a surrogate and is open about it. Everyone uses surrogates in Hollywood now. Well, I can exclusively report that the reason she is so upset with it being discussed in public is that because she and Paul have never told their kids they were delivered via a surrogate. You might recall that two weeks ago, Adrienne said her babies were all delivered by c-section and made no mention of any surrogate. It is interesting that Bravo has chosen to always mute out what everyone is discussing on the show but had no problems when Kyle said her sister was an alcoholic or when Paul said Kim was whacked out on things, but apparently have different rules when it comes to surrogates.
I'm sick of hearing about how "kids are off limits". If you don't want dirty laundry aired, then well, get off Reality television.

I have how Bravo aired this week's epi. It irks me to no end. It just leaves so many holes in the story. Adrienne must have threatened a lawsuit over it, so I'm surprised they put any of this in the show. Now, there's crazy speculation all over the Internets. Can't wait to see how Bravo addresses this. I would think viewers would ask on WWHL.
Brandi needs to learn that she doesn't always need to say or Tweet everything single thing that comes into her mind. I want to like her but she has the maturity of a 12 year old.

ReplyDeleteWho gives a shit? I watched, the episode, and Brandi is a POS for telling everyone. If Maloof wanted to keep it under wraps, let her. It's her private business. I think it is shitty not to tell their children, and ridiculous to lie and say you carried them, but different strokes.
ReplyDeleteI honestly don't see why people are acting as though this is something horrible. She lied about her private life, something even non Housewives do at times. I don't even like Maloof, but I'm in her corner on this one.
So we all know by now that she used a surrogate. But what I want to know is did she fake both pregnancies? Did she wear fake baby bumps both times? Otherwise why would this be such a big deal? Because if she fake-waddled around Beverly Hills with a prosthetic bump, I could see how she would be mad that people found out. And I think it's hilarious!

ReplyDeleteMaybe Bravo showed the tiniest bit of decency and muted the audio because it was completely about children? Kim being an alcoholic wasn't as directly related to children. Now I'm happy they muted it bc they had no choice but to air the fight bc it was so huge and is needed to answer our questions about the aftermath at the reunion.

ReplyDeletekatsm0711 - I don't think Bravo gives a shit about the children. Look at all the awful shit they aired about Joe Giudice and his alleged relationships. That's got to have an impact on their children. Ditto for Kim's issues. No matter how old you are, I think seeing these things about your parents is hard. Just my opinion.

DeleteWell in this case, they did not put it out there. Brandi is friends with a sleezy guy, who happens to be a friend of the chef at the Maloof home. I am guessing this is how she got the information. She then told others, and now we all know.
DeleteWhile some blogs were saying she used a surrogate for awhile, I don't think it would've made waves in the gossip pool, since Maloof is pretty much wallpaper on the show.

ReplyDeleteYeah... I'd be curious to see what the lawsuit says. IANAL, but Paul was all screeching about slander and defamatory speech. A key point of which is that the thing said must not be true.
ReplyDeleteI think it has to be something deeper. With them knee-deep in divorce issues now, and the part where Brandi said "oh it can get much worse" at the end there? I think the surrogacy bit is just the tip of the iceberg. Wondering if maybe last season's jaw dropper about marital infidelity that Brandi casually mentioned in the season finale might not indicate that the surrogate was "implanted" the old-fashioned way?

ReplyDeleteBravo was told they had to edit it out by Adrienne's lawyers. Brandi isn't allowed to talk about it either, but apparently she and Paul are buddy-buddy now that Adrienne and Paul are dunzo.

ReplyDeleteI find the Brandi/Lisa alliance the most likable and Adrienne a big mess with bad shoes and scary lip liner. I think whatever Brandi said, it was true and that's why Adrienne is angry. Brandi can be like a toddler with lit fireworks sometimes but I still like her.
@ Rain - Adrienne and Brandi allegedly had a friendship (manufactured by Bravo) in order to introduce Brandi to the show, which makes NO sense because they hardly run in the same circles.
ReplyDeleteThe IMDB message boards immediately were alight with posts about surrogacy so it was no secret. Someone posted something about Adrienne having the ways and means ($$$) to live elsewhere during the showing months of her pregnancy.
The reason I think she's so angry? I think EVERYTHING stems from Lisa's popularity. She's jealous. Adrienne wants to be a cold sphinx and yet be Ms Popular. Ain't gonna happen.
I think Lisa moved to get away from Adrienne.

ReplyDeleteI also don't understand why Adrienne and Paul would be SO angry, true or not true. It really doesn't matter how your children are born its raising them that matters. Maybe they used donor eggs as well? Still not a big deal, but its definitely not Brandi's place to announce it on RHOBH. Brandi is so messy lately; this and the whole Leann Rimes twitter fights. I hope Brandi is in a better, more peaceful place.
Considering that people immediately started talking abut the fact that the surrogacy was what was bleeped out, apparently the whole thing was one of those 'open secrets' that everyone already knew. I just find it so rich that a couple that's playing child abuse allegations out in the press is freaking out over this reveal.

Season one, I really like Adrienne. Then that awful reunion happened where she started attacking Lisa. I think Brandi's actions definitely have to do with protecting her mama bear. Adrienne is clearly doing this show for fame. (She has enough $$). That approach is definitely turning on her. I've heard she's not coming back next season and I'm glad.

Remember last season when most of us were in love with Paul? He seems like such a douche now after he got all mad at Lisa for calling his dog "Crackpot" and then the Maloof Hoof non-insult. He's just a wimpy guy who tries to look big and important.

ReplyDeleteAnd Kim? She could not wait! Remember, Kim is the one that hid Brandi's crutches. She smiles and sticks the knife in at the first opportunity and Brandi always provides the opportunity. I thought Lisa's motherly talk to Brandi last week was so accurate when she told Brandi, "What you said was a GIFT to them". I really like how Lisa helps Brandi see sometimes.

ReplyDeletemy other question, and maybe this is one for you legal eagles out there: when adrienne and paul were sputtering out threats on the show the other night, they were talking, if i am not mistaken, about suing brandi for slander. if there is evidence that what brandi spoke was actually true, then there'd be no grounds for a suit, right? you can't sue someone for saying something if they are speaking about facts, correct? or did i snooze through that portion of law 101? (and yes, i will go back to lurker status soon, lol.)
I think this will make the divorce proceedings for those two very interesting, and beneficial to no one. On the other hand, keep your mouth shut if you don't want your secrets know. I'm pretty sure we all learned that in kindergarten, and I don't feel sorry for them if it gets out.

I'm still undecided if she really gets upset at seeing arguments or if she's looking for sympathy. Her grifter past is why I have a hard time believing anything from her, even if she was definitely abused. Who knows!

And now we know Adrienne does lie--look at the abuse stories, etc that she used against Paul when they separated--the court investigated and overruled it.
I still feel sorry for their kids--if this is true and they were never told and now it's on tv--as well as how they were dragged into their parents fights.
These people sign up for these shows because they are greedy, narcissistic and want the fame and money. They don't give a damn about how it'll affect their children and I doubt they even think about the their secrets coming out. I feel bad for the kids, all the parents care about is themselves and their image but it is what it is. It's barely even gossip news worthy, these people are douchebags like that's such a shock? But it is amazing the things people will do, and their reasons for doing them.
