There is a possibility that she may have actually ingested some food - it was Jamie cooking after all, and I would eat at his restaurant every day of the week and twice on Sundays. Most of what he cooks is healthy and fresh, so you never know, she might have been able to eat a forkful or two without it making a reappearance later.
Or of course she could just survive on the glow of her own ego, I hear it could sustain 3 towns and a couple of villages all on it's own.
Where are we talking about the school shooting? Those poor babies.
