ReplyDeleteThis might be unfair, but for some reason I can't quite fathom, I don't like Taylor Swift. She's a terrible singer and her songs are silly, but then again, I'm not in her demographics and am perhaps too cynical and jaded to "get it". I can't help thinking all of her relationships are set up by her PR.

I guess I don't get the TS hate. She is smart, talented, successful, modest, humble, stays out of trouble, doesn't get involved in public embarrassments.... We bash young women in Hollywood who go wild and act like morons (rightfully so) but then we turn around and bash a young woman who acts how we profess to believe that the out of control ones should act.
ReplyDeleteSo she dates a lot of different guys. So she's (smartly) discovered there's money to be made by writing songs about her relationships (Carly Simon made tons of money doing the same thing).
Young women/girls could do worse than idolizing Taylor (okay, minus the unfortunate John Mayer episode).
@Lola ITA whilst I'm not even a fan of hers I'd much prefer my neices look up to TS than Rihanna it anyone like that :)

ReplyDeletemaybe we are old, but I miss the fashion rules. It actually made it easier to dress. I stressed over wearing brown sued boots with black jeans and a grey sweater yesterday for 20mins. I wore and heard my mother's voice in my head all day reminding me my boots didn't match my belt or handbag.
Oh Liv. That painful moment when you realize that even though you fucking hate hobbits, you're going to end up watching the Hobbit anyways..

ReplyDeleteTaylor Swift is extremely over-rated and only successful due to Kanye Douche's abuse of her when she won that award. Her 'music' is awful. He PR image annoys me to no end. I hope she's on minute 14.
Rumer as a regular person looks just fine. She should stop trying to pose like a movie star and just be normal.

As for demi, ive no doubt shes doing some kind of substance, but from the pics i saw her dancing, chair dancing and being silly with keibler. She wasnt runnung around topless or anything. Didnt look so bad, but god knows shes got demons. I wish her recovery.
