Jessica Alba doing some toy shopping at Hamleys in London.
Not doing any shopping, but definitely doing some working out lately is Josh Brolin.
Justin Bieber takes Selena Gomez for a drive before she
heads off to a meeting and breaks up and gets back together 14 times during said meeting.
Jennie Garth and one of her daughters.
The first publicity photo of Ashton Kutcher as
Steve Jobs
Kate Hudson looking nothing like Kate Hudson.
I don't see the difference of Kate Hudson from how she normally looks to be honest.
ReplyDeleteMe either! She looks great, like she usually does.
DeleteHuh? Kate Hudson looks exactly like Kate Hudson.
ReplyDeleteI'm no Ashton fan -- is anyone?! -- but the Steve Jobs look is absolutely uncanny. I hope he can do the role justice. Or at least just not suck.
Wow, the Kutcher/Jobs thing - wow!
ReplyDeleteOf course, it's a still. When Ashton opens his mouth, I'll just think of his character from That 70s Show.
Agreed, Ashton looks creepily like him. Maybe the big douche can actually act. Who knows and who cares. Why is alba in the pics today? And Josh "Wifebeater" Brolin? Something to do with recent blinds? do not get.
ReplyDeleteAs I've posted before, I know someone who knew Jobs quite well and visited the set during filming. This person stated that they though Kutcher was giving an excellent performance as Jobs.
ReplyDeleteKate Hudson looks the same to me! Really gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSelena was so close to leaving, I wonder what Justin says to make get stay.
I cant imagine. He looks and dresses loke a scary troll doll. Ashton looks so much like jobs its scary!
DeleteSummoning @curly hair slacker
ReplyDeleteIf we do burglar bunch Kate's closet, that getup is staying inside!!!!
I think it would behoove Jennie to throw a few lowlights into her very very very blonde hair. Grab the foils - I think I can handle up on that
Well at least he looks like Steve Jobs but still irks me that he's playing him.
ReplyDeleteWhy Selena? I just don't get the appeal of that little lesbian you're dating!
hi, kate!!! i see that big ol' elephant ear stickin' outta your hair!
ReplyDelete(can't stand her.)
There are more pictures of Kate Hudson in the DM that I stared at yesterday, trying to figure out why I hadn't recognized her.
ReplyDeleteShe looks very pretty, but in a more generic way -- previously she had an odd kind of beauty and a "Momma taught me well how to make the most of what I've got" way of presenting herself.
Is it just me, or does that shot of Josh Brolin look an awful lot like the late Kevyn Aucoin? There's just something about the face, and it's creeping me out...
ReplyDeleteshe does look a little different. maybe something about her chin? her smile looks weird too, like a cat lol
ReplyDeleteKate Hudson had a chin implant?! What else could it be? She's wearing pants?
ReplyDelete"Why is alba in the pics today? And Josh "Wifebeater" Brolin? Something to do with recent blinds? do not get."
ReplyDeleteit's called Random Photos, what's to get? The are random and photos.
Thanks for that tid-bit B.
ReplyDeleteLindsay set the bar so low when it comes to portraying real life legends Ashton is going to seem like Daniel Day Lewis in comparison.
ReplyDeleteI'll have more to say about the Jobs biopic when it's released. My friend may chose to speak more openly Jobs once the movie comes out, and I would not want to put words in his/her mouth.
ReplyDeleteSome familiar names in the cast of characters....
Maybe Justin says casually "I made 50 million dollars last year. What other 20 year old can say that?". Those crazy kids. Who knows. Maybe it's love.
ReplyDeleteI must be the rare person who really likes Ashton Kutcher movies. There's just an appealing goofy charm there that makes almost anything he has done watchable. The only movie of his I disliked was the gigolo movie "Spread". That one was dreadful.
Something tells me the real Steve Jobs never had that many buttons of his dress-shirt unbuttoned. Its really bothering me.
ReplyDeleteI think Kate Hudson is ugly.
ReplyDeleteJessica Alba looks beautiful.
I hate Kelly Taylor! " These chips are so salty." Anyone else remember that?
Why do I find Ashton Kutcher cute? Ugh
@nessa, @Silly Girl -- I thought it might be dental work, but yes, a chin implant would explain it.
ReplyDelete@greenmountaingal -- I'd reserve "ugly" for questions of character. Don't know anything about her that would warrant that.
Is today doppelgänger day on cdan? First Sammy Hagar's wife looking like Christie Brinkley, and here Jessica Alba could double as a young Britney Spears
ReplyDelete@Sunny, I swear to God my first thought was, "Sunny and I wouldn't steal that!" Hahaha great minds! :)
ReplyDeleteSteve Jobs became famous in the 1970's & was very much a child of the 60's, so the unbuttoned shirt would make sense. Showing chest hair was huge in the 1970's. The buttoned up computer nerds came in the next generation of moguls. The Bill Gateses and Michael Dells.
ReplyDelete@Lazyday
ReplyDeleteNow I'm picturing Steve Jobs at the Regal Beagle :)
The second pic is of Steve Jobs? Are we sure?
ReplyDeleteOh, come on, easy to see why Selena stays....they're not too young to play the celebrity game - they get more publicity together than apart!!
ReplyDelete"Steve Jobs became famous in the 1970's & was very much a child of the 60's, so the unbuttoned shirt would make sense. Showing chest hair was huge in the 1970's. The buttoned up computer nerds came in the next generation of moguls. The Bill Gateses and Michael Dells."
ReplyDeleteGod, I love the absurdly confident ignorance behind this statement. So utterly wrong.
--Jobs and Gates were the same age.
--Gates grew up nominally preppy, because he was a Lakeside grad. He was a child of 70's Seattle, and I lived those years myself. Plus I know people who knew him before Microsoft got to be really big. He was always obsessed with technology, and frankly more creepy than nerdy from what I've heard, but never a tight ass.
--You don't know shit about "buttoned up computer nerds". I've smoked more dope with guys like that than you've had hot dinners. If you weren't in tech back in the CLI era, don't even think that you can opine about Gates or Jobs.
--Dell is nothing like Gates. Dell is a pure repackager. He's a fucking grocer, in tech terms.
OK, thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJobs in 1980:
Note the double unbuttoned shirt
Not quite Gino Vanelli but pretty standard 70's look.
Gates (and they may have been close in age but they had their Time covers a full decade apart. That's why I said became famous. I was pointing out the look that the public saw when they were introduced to the world as celebrity tech moguls):
Not a hint of hippy there
And I could care less about Michael Dell one way or the other. He sure transformed Austin though. They can try to Keep Austin Weird but there are too many Dellionaires about for it to ever return to the sleepy hippy hamlet it was before he started Dell.
Again, what part of "you don't know what the fuck you're talking about" do you not understand?
ReplyDeleteDell is a used-car salesman. Gates, back in the day, was a true kernel hacker. It doesn't matter how they button their shirts; they are universes apart. Gates had vastly more in common with Jobs.
If you KNEW, you'd KNOW. Evidently you do NOT. I DO.
God, fucking ignorant civilians, think they read an article in Time and understand how tech works.
Just because this conversation needs these Bill Gates photos. HOTT!

Mugshot!

Hey B. Pretentious, why don't you drink a tall glass of STFU.
ReplyDeleteYour 5 year old is showing.
I see where B is coming from. Dell's biggest mistake (JMHO) was going from a "Let us guide you in your computer needs" to "Hey we make this stuff now" (epic fail IMO)
ReplyDeleteBut come on B, it's hump day! Calm down my friend.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I like Ashton. I can't help it. Not saying he did wrong, but I really get the feeling he ran for his life to get away from the Whip its queen.
ReplyDeleteI like him when he actually acts. I loved him in "The Butterfly Effect". I was actually bummed when he went back to campy romcoms after that movie.
*runs and hides my Ashton loving self*
*didn't do wrong*
ReplyDeleteI need more coffe!
OMG - A Gino Vanelli reference! LOVE IT. Wild horses.....great song!
ReplyDeleteEw, Ashton's pic looks like a skeevy 70's porn.
