DeleteI remember watching a movie and trying to look up her age and there were conflicting reports and I'm not even sure i found a finite answer. I know it's no big deal, but what celebrity refuses to give their proper birthday or even a consistent answer? Just strange.

DeleteThere were rumors that "Tacky Patacky" was fooling around on Thor, going back a couple of yrs, then a blind about someone fooling around with both brothers, but neither were proven. I like Patacky, and Miley. They aren't out to hurt anyone, just trying to live and do their thing.

Pretty weird coincidence that her last name also used to be Howard. And that "good friend" of Jessica's who posted on the link that Kloie provided above did nothing to dispel the rumor (in fact, seemed to confirm it).
ReplyDeleteJessica Chastain was revealed to be very secretive and to have lied about her age (She was listed as 29 when she did Tree of Life, now she's listed as 35).
ReplyDeleteIt was not revealed that she's Ron Howard's daughter - That's just gossip based on her birth name, the insane resemblance between her and Bryce Dallas Howard, the fact that Robin Williams paid for her to go to Juillard for no reason, and the fact that she's exploded to fame and influence much faster than anyone without the benefit of nepotism would.
But still, not revealed!
Aside from that, there's nothing about her that's shady. She seems like a perfectly nice person, just very private and possibly emotionally damaged by being illegitimate.
Agreed Mr.Wolf. the similarities are striking but if everyone wants to keep that private ok by me. Granted I'll miss the dish but it doesn't make her shady. No side eye there to those that feel otherwise.

It's just odd how she seemingly sprang up out of nowhere (like Athena being birthed full grown from Zeus's head) and suddenly is up for all of these huge awards and is starring in every big movie there is. It makes me wonder what precisely is going on there.

I like Jessica Chastain and I am liking that she is secretive and likes her privacy instead of every little detail papped photographed and gossiped about, I like it.

Jessica Chastain might be a cousin of Ron Howard...But even if that were the case, why deny it? Maybe she is afraid of her success being due to nepotism.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if they were some sort of family it would make more sense for Ron Howard to have paid for her schooling than Robin Williams. Of course, that could be a case of giving a scholarship to a family friend (something some rich people would not object to).

@dia papaya......I was holidaying in Seychelles several years back and the view from my sunlounger was beautiful! Half a dozen toned and bronzed Australian guys would go surfing every day! My sunnies were very useful to take in the lovely views.....every day....like clockwork.....yummy!!!!

I’ve also been completing a course in university in order to expand my role.....and I passed. And I’ve got a new job across the corridor from my ‘old’ job......and for more money!!!! Hehe!
I really missed you guys...and I hope you are all well and healthy. But some of you are probably suffering from Christmas-related illnesses...flu etc. so get well soon to all of you that have been feeling under par.

I forgot to mention......I love that little three-legged doggy. My cat lost her leg and her tail after being run over by a car......she adapted well to her change in circumstances!

Awesome. She should just come out with it, but if it would hurt Ron's wife, family and marriage, then who's to judge? It's funny but Leno's known for buying old cars for TONS of money, and this is what happens to old cars. Good luck getting parts.

ReplyDeleteSo, I can't add much to the Jessica Chastain convo except to say that I went to high school with her, her name was Chastain then, she was a year behind me and I am 36. I have no distinct memory of her, personality or otherwise.
