Oh, I'm starting to warm to her. "Give Your Heart a Break (Alias remix)" was such a beautiful track, and as long as she's not getting coked to the gills and punching employees, I can tolerate her.
Did anyone notice that's she's lip syncing the song? Dont believe this is her and yeah, find a note and stick to it rather than running all over the place. That would show some talent to me.
I normally lurk, because I don't usually have much to contribute. Also, I am awful at guessing blind items, no matter how hard I try, lol. Anyway, I had to chime in and say that I finally watched Love Actually for the first time on Christmas Eve. I LOVED it, and Andrew Lincoln almost made me cry. My husband watched it with me, and I think he enjoyed the movie as much as I did. Definitely watching it next Christmas!
is it one of those times when on accident mouth and words to meet up..or is she not singing live?..its good..not great. love actually takes it for sure
T.E. Cruz, TONS of blinds are supposedly, suspected, to be about her. The rehab, the drinking, the coke, the evil boyfriend, the team pulling her out of rehab for work and $$$, the relapses. She seems like a sweet talented girl, I wish her well.

ReplyDeleteThat was surprisingly not awful! And not lip-sync'd. Yay =)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I wish I could sing! Those who can sing truly are blessed :-)
ReplyDeleteThat was really good. I'm just not sure, for me, that anyone is going to top the performance of this song at the end of Love Actually.
ReplyDeleteNo one will ever top the 10 year old girl who sang it in Love Actually. Olivia Olson

I'm not fond of covers so I'll always love Mariah's the best. Demi was good, but I think Melanie Amaro had a better rendition last year.
ReplyDeletei can't watch her without wondering if certain blinds are about her.
ReplyDeleteShe was great, but I agree about Olivia from Love Actually!
ReplyDeleteWhy must all these singers look like they are having an epileptic seizure when they sing..she was mediocre at best.

ReplyDelete@ms snarky, totally agree. I remember in the commentary the director said they added breaths because people didn't believe it was Olivia singing.
ReplyDeleteDemi sang good and looked good. Hopefully she is getting her act together.
Not as good as Mariah. Not bad, but Demi has a way to go to be in that class.
ReplyDeleteShe did not make a good impression on me on X-Factor.

This is my favorite Christmas song, so I prefer Mimi. I still can't believe Mimi was majorly depressed when she wrote it.
