Notorious B.I.G. Autopsy Report

It is hard to believe it has been 15 years since Notorious B.I.G. was killed. Somehow TMZ came up with the autopsy report of his death and it says that the rapper was hot four times and he could have survived all of those, but one shot went through his right hip and went through a bunch of vital organs and killed him.

  1. Well, I don't think he was hot even one time.

  3. ^ ya everyone likes to say that but for me, a hardcore rap aficionado, he always sounded like he was rappin with a mouth full of marbles.

I can think of at least 10 others at the time and since who were 10x better. Eazy E, DJ Quik, Tupac, KRS1, Ice Cube, Chuck D, Ice T.....etc.

    But to each their own.

    3. Eazy E was NOT anywhere near a good rapper. He was a good business man. The end.

  5. ^ ^ ^
No one was comparing him to anyone else, or saying he was the best. Obviously he was good at what he did, and he's gone now, so we have no idea how accomplished he could have become or fathom what type of material he would have released etc.

  6. Huh, word to that.
I'm dangerous, crazier than a bag of f***ing angel dust.
When I bust my gat, motherf****ers take dirt naps.
    I'm all that, and a dime sack;
    Where the paper at?

My friends & I used those silver paint markers to write 'RIP BIGGIE' on our Chuck Taylors. I think I still have them somewhere.
Biggie, Biggie, Biggie, Bad Boy got played out without you.

  7. Eazy E?? Really?? He had charisma and swag out the window, but talent as a rapper, that's really scrapping the bottom of the barrel... Just sayin. Even he admitted he wasn't a rapper, he was a hustler. Shit, I don't even think he ever wrote a rhyme in his life. In the words of P Diddy, "I don't write rhymes, I write checks"

  8. Ummm then the reporter is stupid if he couldve survived the four shots he wouldn't have died - so maybe he couldve survived the 3 shots! RIP

  10. My hubby is a HUGE Biggie fan, still has all these bootleg CDs and VHS tapes from when he lived in NJ. I like Biggie as well, although I don't listen to rap much at all anymore. My favorites were always Redman and Method Man, though.

Favorite Biggie song? Mine is "Juicy."

What was fascinating about Biggie is that before him, chubby rappers were happy-go-lucky types: Heavy D, Chubb Rock, etc. Then here comes this guy, talking about some hardcore stuff. He wasn't the cuddly stereotype, and he could tell a great story.

  13. yodelay, Tupac is still alive! ;)

  14. Does everyone know that Biggie never wrote any rhymes down? He composed everything in his head and it never left.

And Jesus Christ. I'm about to have my right hip replaced and I'm scared enough of drs mistakes, now I'll be scared of the scalpel slipping into all my major organs!!!

  15. Haha...if it weren't for NWA and Eazy, you'd STILL be listening to the fucking Fresh Prince and Young MC.

    1. That doesn't make Eazy E a good rapper. That makes Cube a good rapper for writing all their shit, Dre a good producer, and Eazy and good business man for taking all of their money for putting them together DUMB ASS!

In 1993, I *think* he gave my mom and I directions to the Bronx Zoo in NYC. He was driving a cream colored Benz with "Biggie" plates. I didn't know who he was at the time. Was REALLY nice.

  19. I agree about the marbles, jax. I was never a big rap fan though, I really can't tell a good rapper from a bad one....*L*

Big is and always will be my favorite rapper ( sorry Wu Tang crew ) ... I find myself quoting at least one of his lyrics daily. RIP Christopher Wallace <3

  21. Fairly certain that the existence of Run DMC,LL Cool J,Naughty by Nature (not too mention Salt N Peppa) pretty much made sure we weren't going to be 'fucking stuck' with Fresh Prince or Young MC.
    Know your music history pls.

Never a fan of BIG but respect that he knew how to tell a story. I feel the same way about Eminem. Some people just..have it.

    1. Thank you! don't forget the KING Rakim and Gheto Boys. Jax has got to be some square ass rich white kid from the 'burbs if he thinks all there was in rap was NWA and The Fresh Prince.

  22. I would love to know what really happened to both Biggie and Tupac. I do agree with jax that Biggie sounded like he had marbles in his mouth, but he was a great lyricist. Juicy is one of my favorite rap songs. I am more of a Tupac fan, though. And NWA! I love hip hop music. I could go on and on about this topic, but I won't bore you all.

  23. This thread is cracking me up. My 15 year old nephew has just discovered Snoop and a few others. Thanks, Jax for reminding me of some others to recommend. I think its hilarious that at almost 40 years old I am participating in a conversation on Biggie's talent and who are the best rappers off all time, lmfao.
