Morrissey Says Kate Middleton Is To Blame For Nurse's Suicide
Morrissey has gone a rampage directed at Kate Middleton and the royal family and says Kate specifically is the person to blame for the suicide of the nurse involved in the radio station prank.
"Even with the recent story about the nurse killing herself in King Edward VII’s Hospital, there's no blame placed at Kate Middleton, who was at the hospital, for as far as I can see, no reason. She feels no shame about the death of this woman, she's saying nothing about the death of this poor woman. The arrogance of the British royals is staggering and why it's allowed to be I really don't know."
Morrissey then went on to question whether Kate really had morning sickness and how it magically got better the second the woman killed herself. Morrissey suggests that Kate has anorexia.
"Does she have a health condition? Is it anorexia or is it pregnancy? What is the we don't know. Morning sickness, already? So much hoo haw and suddenly bright as a button as soon as this poor woman dies she's out of hospital? It doesn't ring true."
i feel like he's just trolling with this statement...
ReplyDeleteDear Morrisey:
ReplyDeleteFuck off.
Signed,
The World
Amen, dista, well said.
DeleteSista
DeleteSpoken like a man who has no idea what pregnancy is like.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree with you more. What a douche!
DeleteI do, too, T.E. Of course, I personally think that he's ALWAYS been trolling, in general, about everything. Dude is overrated and needs to feel relevant at all times.
ReplyDelete(No offense to the Smiths fans. I just don't like him.)
Morrissey needs to go away and take his woe is me music with him.
ReplyDeleteI do love The Smiths.
ReplyDeleteJust for conspiracy shits and giggles, does anyone think the nurse was murdered?
That was my first thought, honestly =( With all the conspiracy around Princess Diana's death, I'm actually surprised that no one expressed their opnions about this tragedy. I feel so bad for her family, with all the publicity this has brought, you kno they are going thru an extremely hard time. So sad. RIP.
Delete@grenmountaingal,
DeleteI think it's a possibility but if it's a suicide, which I read that 3 suicide notes were left, I'm thinking that in those notes more of the reason for why she killed herself is attributed to something else and not solely to the prank. However, I truly doubt they'll release that, and will only ever speak of it being due to the prank.
Also, I'm almost certain when this first came out, I read that she was found dead laying in the street, but today I read that she hung herself in her room quarters at the hospital from a wardrobe closet or something of that nature. That's quite a different story than being found dead in the street.
greenmountaingal, sorry for the prior typo on your name.
Delete@warecat It is a really sad situation. I feel really bad for her family.
Delete@unknown That's really creepy. I don't know what actually happened, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if she was murdered. The Royals have long tentacles. I also do love a good conspiracy theory. And please don't worry about the spelling of my name - I didn't even notice :)
Totally a sacrifice
DeleteAre you fucking kidding me with this bullshit?
ReplyDeleteI love the Smiths so much, but Morrissey really makes it hard for me sometimes.
ReplyDeleteExactly how I feel!
DeleteMe too Mynerva.
DeleteMe three
DeleteHe's fucking pathetic. Who the fuck is he to question ANYTHING about a woman's morning sickness or anything else. What a fuckwad.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds demented.
ReplyDeleteI also love The Smiths but please please please Morrissey..just stop.
ReplyDeleteI see what you did there, carebear, funny, and such a bummer when one of my favorites sounds like such a jackass
DeleteHe's clearly uninformed since he thinks the royals didn't acknowledge the suicide. And clearly he's a doctor now who diagnoses patients via interview.
ReplyDeleteYet another fine example of why men should shut their fucking pie holes when it comes to women's bodies.
ReplyDeleteI would love for him to have morning sickness for 1 day. I, like Kate, spent time in the hospital. Once for 3 days, but usually I could get away with just a few bags of fluids.
Please spend one day pregnant you fucktard and then let's see what you have to say.
It PAINS me to defend any royals, but here Morrisey sounds like an idiot. He has a ton of anti-monarchic rage but doesn't really know were to aim at
ReplyDeleteMorrissey, you tool!!!
ReplyDeleteIdiot.
ReplyDeleteTo quote Alec Baldwin: Morrissey, you goat-footed, wheezy old queen. I loved The Smiths growing up, but Morrissey has become a massive **** in his old age.
ReplyDeleteWhat a dick.
ReplyDeletei hope morrissey comes back in his next life as a woman, gets pregnant and then gets a monster case of hyperemesis. we'll see what he (she) has to say then!
ReplyDeleteHow high/drunk was he when he gave this interview? We should all send him Sex Ed books for Xmas. Pretty sure it's not too soon for her to have morning sickness, let alone that other thing that starts with an H that is worse but I can't remember what it's called.
ReplyDelete(That's the most Enty sentence I've ever typed.)
I don't doubt she has eating issues...but this is just plain crazy..
ReplyDeleteAnorexia and morning sickness are so much alike! I remember when I was pregnant and not eating anything because I was puking - fun times with my skinny self!
ReplyDeleteWhat a massive tool.
Also, Kate does not look well in the first shot - she looks really tired and kind of pale. I guess anorexic morning sickness will do that to you.
(TOOL!)
I would have guessed he would suggest to hang the DJ...
ReplyDeleteZing of the day, Topper!
Deletei can't believe how pissed this makes me. where the hell did he do his OB/GYN residency? when exactly does dr. morrissey think morning sickness happens? it's usually the very worst in the first trimester----right where she is.
ReplyDeletei HATE when men mouth off about women's issues they don't know a fucking thing about.
I like what you did there, RCB.
ReplyDeletePanic in the streets of London! Morrissey has said something assholeish about a topic he's completely uninformed about?! That never happens!
I love The Smiths and I love some of his early solo stuff. I even went to see him in concert a couple of years ago - he just needs to stop. Stop touring, stop talking, stop releasing music. It's over, Steven Patrick. You're an irrelevant blob with nothing valuable to say.
Haha disco- I heard that song a bunch yesterday, its been stuck in my head ever since!
DeleteI wish I read all the way through, then I wouldn't have straight copied you, disco, embarrassing! And I tried to see him in the bay a few years ago, but he cancelled, bummer
DeleteHe is such a douche...he doesn't even realize that he is not being clever or cutting with his outrage. Just a pathetic, aging singer trying to stay in the spotlight.
ReplyDeleteWow. Morrissey is a moron...whoever he is. Never heard of him until this article.
ReplyDeleteThe only person responsible for the Nurse's suicide is the Nurse herself.
This guy is crazy. Plain and simple.
ReplyDeleteOh, Morrissey. Shut your whinging, vegetarian cakehole, you overinflated bag of noxious gas. The line between genius and madness is razor thin, and you've yet again set your feet on the wrong side of it.
ReplyDeleteObviously from someone who's never been pregnant. I had 24/7 sickness the first six months I was pregnant. It was horrible.
ReplyDelete@Molls, so did I. Threw up so many times in the living room I had buckets placed all around. It was sad. My poor coworkers, too. I'm sure HR was trying to figure out what to do with me.
ReplyDeleteMorrisey is a dick.
I can't believe Enty presented his statements without comment, as if it is even remotely plausible that Morrissey is right. This guy is utterly disgusting for suggesting this. Kate's condition is well-known for afflicting some women during pregnancy and it is absolutely awful. They frequently have to be hospitalized in order to prevent dehydration, which can harm both the mother and the baby. It was not frivolous for Kate to be in the hospital. Shame on Enty for not calling him out on this.
ReplyDeleteIt's like an advertisement for all women to Stay Away!!! You've got to love that.
ReplyDeleteWow this guy is a POS. That is all...
ReplyDeleteMoz needs to eat some dead animals and have sex more often. And this is coming from a fan.
ReplyDeleteAs for the nurse being murdered? I wouldn't put it pass that evil royal family.
Turns out even middle aged men can be attention whores. Sit down and shut up, you pretentious douche.
ReplyDeleteWhy is EVERYONE being blamed for this suicide except the nurse?, No amount of embarassment could make me kill myself and leave my 2 kids to fend on their own! That nurse had other issues, Boy look on all the shit some celebrities go through and they didnt take their lives,
ReplyDelete@Unknown
ReplyDeleteWhy would any suicide notes be released to the public? Do you think that that is standard practice?
@Tuxedo Cat,
DeleteHi, I'm not saying that the suicide notes would be released to the public. I'm saying that if they ever speak of what was supposedly on the suicide notes, that they will only speak of it being due to the prank and not other things that may have contributed to it. I don't think her suicide (if true) was due solely to the prank, it may have been the straw that broke the camel's back type of thing, but not the sole reason. However, I think it will be only mentioned as the sole reason that attributed to it because that's what they (media, royals, whomever) want the masses to think.
This is über-trolling. Kate was discharged from the hospital on Dec 6; the nurse was found hanged on Dec 7. Kate didn't get magically better the second the woman killed herself. She got a bit better, and probably decided it was safer to be taken care of privately than in a hospital with no security or privacy protocol.
ReplyDeleteBy all accounts, she continues to have a problematic pregnancy.
As if the 53-y-old dude who looks 63 would have a clue about facts of any kind.
But he sure got his publicity, which I guess is what he wanted. Troll.
ETA: @it took forever: ITA. The nurse left three suicide notes, hanged herself, had marks on her wrists, and deserted her husband and kids. I'm sorry she was mentally ill, but she was the person who did it. Nobody else.
@it took forever
ReplyDeleteActually, lots of people are blaming the nurse.
When you are suicidal, you feel as if the world would be better off without you. Including your children. That is what she must have been feeling at the time.
She felt she had failed as a nurse, to protect her patient, and she probably thought she would be fired. She was also embarrassed in front of the whole world.
I would say she was very likely a sensitive person. Most nurses are. Someone like you would probably call that a weakness.
Tuxedo Cat, her identity was not publicly released until AFTER her suicide. She was not publicly humiliated at all. She would still be anonymous today if she hadn't killed herself. Have you seen her poor little daughter? She's clearly crushed and traumatized and has been sedated to help her cope. This woman is solely responsible for the suffering of her family.
DeleteMorrissey is a long-time Royal hater, and a big-mouth.
ReplyDelete@tuxedo cat - I see what you did there.
Delete@Jamie 2
ReplyDeleteSuicide has causes outside the self. It comes from people no longer being able to handle cruelty from the outside world - from insensitive people like you.
god i can't wait until the report comes out and proves all of you wrong that "she obviously had mental issues prior" because that is what is going to happen. The family has not come out and said anything about her mental state or that she had issues prior. They are shocked and want answers because this is so out of the ordinary for her. Her husband is demanding the facts and says it will be made public.
ReplyDeleteIt's like no one can accept her feeling despair and shame so harsh it feels like it leaves you no options.
I can't with this man! What does he know about being pregnant and constantly feeling like you wanna puke your guts out???!!! Wanker!
ReplyDeleteOMG. Kate has hyperemesis gravidarum...It's a freakin' medical condition. On rare occasions some women literally cannot stop vomiting, to the point where they endanger themselves and the fetus. A midwife I used to work with had it during her pregnancy (isn't that irony)
ReplyDeleteAs for the woman that committed suicide...I believe she was the one that transferred the DJs to another nurse. Her convo lasted all of about 30 seconds. The other nurse is the one that breached patient confidentiality and should be disciplined. In the US, you *never* *ever* give ANY information out about *any* patient to ANYONE over the phone (and yes, I'm a nurse) because you don't if they are really who they say they are.
It was a prank call. I was listening to a morning show when a caller said he had spent a lot of time in and around India, and he said that shame is taken a lot more seriously there than it is here. It's "shame on you, shame on your family". Even though we don't think it was any big deal- over there, they do - enough to kill themselves if they think they have brought shame on the family.
I don't think the djs should blame themselves, and I think Morrissey is just grabbing at straws and looking like a tool while he does so.
@Sugar. Thanks! I am so glad you got it. I was starting to think I wasn't nearly as clever as I thought I was.
ReplyDeleteMorrissey fucking rules.
ReplyDeleteThat is all.
Oh please, the royal family did this? Really? Why didn't they kill the nurse who actually released confidential information? Let's use some common sense here. This nurse went over her personal edge because some mean spirited DJs decided it would be funny to embarrass as many people as possible in order to appeal to 12 year old idiots (or those who have 12 year old mentalities). But this Morrisey is a self involved misogynistic putz.
ReplyDelete@Kathleen
ReplyDeleteHer family does not blame her, they blame the DJ stunt, and so does most of the rest of the world.
The prank was already worldwide news. How many nurse receptionists do you think the hospital had?
Eff off, Morrissey.
ReplyDelete*kisses picture of Robert Smith*
Lol
DeleteMorrissey apparently knows a great deal about pregnancy, and how morning sickness is a myth created by doctors and every single woman who has experienced it.
ReplyDeleteThis aging asshole is just an aging asshole, trying to stay relevant by being a raging asshole. I totally agree - he should get hyperemesis, toxemia, gestational diabetes, and every other pregnancy-related condition that a pregnant woman can be affected by. What a complete waste of a human being he is.
ReplyDeleteAnd I only went through one full-term pregnancy. What a tool.
Not agreeing with this guy at all...but I do wonder why she went into a hospital. I can't imagine they did much more than give her an IV and anti nausea medication.
ReplyDeleteBeing a member of the Royal family I'm sure she could have had a Doctor care for her at home and been much more comfortable, and have kept her pregnancy and vomiting private.
Seriously!!! My god, I mean, she is a ROYAL for christ sake. Wouldn't they have their own wing in that grand palace for any kind of health situations???? Like private drs, nurses, 24/7. This whole situation just bothers me.
DeleteAs a mother myself of a 3yr old, his comments about Kate, are so absurd. I myself, have never experienced morning sickness, but I am by far "lucky" because I miscarried her twin @ 14wks, & my body was trying to "reject" (drs quotes, not mine) her as well. I bled my whole pregnancy, had 3 high risk obgyn's, ultrasounds twice a mnth, it was horrible. I delivered her @ 33wks, w no drgs, cuz I was terrified about putting any drugs in my system that might affect her.
My point is tho, it just all seems rather... bizarre?
As a royal, & not some fame whoring celeb, you would expect them to be quiet & private during a delicate situation like that. Idk. But I truthfully feel that there is something darker going on behind the scenes that we will prob never kno.
Charlotte Bronte anyone?
ReplyDeleteI don't suppose Morrissey wants to be seen as a 'charming man', but still have to say what a dreary, vegan, morbid teenage boy's wet dream you are, sir.
What a tool. I had morning sickness before I even m renu was pregnant.
ReplyDeleteHeaven knows he's miserable now.
ReplyDelete@Topper Madison- that comment rocked. Coca Cola on my keyboard. Thanks for the laugh!
ReplyDeleteAs someone with severe morning sickness to the point I had to go to the ER- don't give this tool any more attention because that's all he wants. He knows how stupid he is.
Not only should he have to experience all miserable pregnancy symptoms, but those of ordinary periods as well. Then he'd shut his douche hold for good.
ReplyDelete*hole*
ReplyDeleteI've been a fan of The Smiths forever but man can Morrissey be a massive tool. He hates the royals and is just being his usual obnoxious self.
ReplyDeleteIn light of this nurse's "honor suicide", I wonder if the hospital will even discipline the other nurse.
Every time I hear a Smiths song I think "Great band. Annoying singer". This guy is a tool.
ReplyDeleteBigmouth Strikes Again
ReplyDeleteSo why, exactly, should Kate feel responsible for what this woman did? I'm not a royal defender in the least, but I would have to say she is also somewhat a victim in this.
ReplyDeleteHer confidentiality was breached when she was in a vulnerable situation.
I don't know Morissey, other than having heard the name before, but perhaps he'd like to share his medical information, or not...
@Chris -- exactly. Morning sickness is bad enough, but she had/has a far more serious condition that can cause many problems for the mother and fetus up to miscarriage. It's like criticizing someone for going to the hospital for preeclampsia. Just because she's a royal and rich and thin and beautiful doesn't mean she can't have health problems like any other human being. What a twat he is.
ReplyDeleteHe's an old white male, of course he knows better than we do about a woman's body and pregnancy. And can read minds too because he knows what Kate thinks about this whole ordeal.
ReplyDeleteWhy is he even commenting about this? Who asked him?
@Cheryl - your comments aren't going unnoticed...tee hee :)
ReplyDeleteMorrisey and Courtney Love have morphed into the same person.
ReplyDeleteIs it bad that I can think of some Smiths lyrics that seem relevant right now to describe Morrissey's never-ending complaining about the royal family...?
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, I had morning sickness long before I ever could've guessed I was pregnant, and I had it for my entire pregnancy...including lots of puking about every 10 minutes during my nearly 30 hours of labor.
SO, Morrissey, STFU.
Lol @ Cheryl!
ReplyDeleteJesus Christ, is it really possible the guy who sings
ReplyDeleteGirlfriend in a Coma can have zero self-awareness
@Maya Sambora - I completely agree. That is one part of this story that makes no sense to me.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when men who have zero lady parts or even a girlfriend or medical training start spouting off. he hates the royals and just wanted to find another way to blame them for nothing. STFU.
ReplyDeleteAnd I hate his whiny ass music too.
"MORRISSEY IS GOD."
ReplyDeleteHe should direct his rage at the British hospital system which seems to think it's ok to give out patient's info over the phone. In the US you can't even say if a person is a patient in that hospital over the phone.
ReplyDeleteHey guys, we really shouldn't totally ignore Morrissey, because then the closer he will get.
ReplyDeleteSee what I did there?
people need to stop trying to blame someone for this woman's death.
ReplyDeleteshe was a suicide. She made the decision. Not the radio people, not the hospital, not the royals. I think we'll eventually find out what is in the note she left, but seriously. Suicide is a really hateful way to die--someone is always left to be hurt.
And nobody needs to be criticizing Kate for getting treatment for her morning sickness. Walk a mile, mister.
@Tuxedo Cat: Two of my aunts (one paternal, one maternal) committed suicide.
ReplyDeleteMy mother "committed" suicide when I was in elementary school. I arrived home as the ambulance was taking her away and a helpful neighborhood kid in the crowd outside the door told me she was dead.
In Mom's case, they revived her and kept her in a mental hospital for several months, but I'll never forget how it felt to be told my mother had killed herself. It was like being kicked in the stomach by a horse. I was only 8 and as selfish as any 8-y-o. I didn't think, "Poor Mom." I thought, "She didn't love me enough to want to live."
I guess I must be massively insensitive to have caused three people to want to kill themselves. My siblings must be equally to blame. Not to mention my insensitive grandmothers, who buried their daughters. And my other insensitive aunts and uncles, many of whom are still alive and still grieve.
Luckily, we are more understanding in general of suicide and mental illness than we were 30 years ago. Well, all except you.
You're determined to make the DJs murderers. They are not murderers.
@tuxedo cat , you seem to troll many comments, #Mini Morrisey in training
ReplyDeleteJamie, such a tragic experience for your family. Some of these other comments are absurd: 1. Murder conspiracy? Really? First rule of murder is motive. What on earth would be motive? 2. Morrisey, either you're an idiot or an arrogant, heartless jerk for making this about you. 3. Let's move on from this story. Tragic? Absolutely. The press needs to stop milking it for all it's worth. The world knows all it needs to know. Let those truly impacted alone now, so they can grieve, heal, and move on.
ReplyDeleteJamie, thank you for that comment. It might sound weird, but that was something I needed to read.
ReplyDeleteAnd don't even pay attention to Tuxedo Cat. She has been insufferably sanctimonious in these dj/nurse posts.
Morrissey - You are human, but you need to be SLAPPED.
ReplyDelete@Jamie 2
ReplyDeleteI am so very very sorry for what you have gone through in your family....You have been right in the middle of it for most of your childhood and in constant fear that it would happen yet again.
I think if you can get past your anger toward me you will see that we are really on the same side. I detest the forces that pushed this poor woman to end her life. I definitely agree that she may have had pre-existing conditions.
@seaward
ReplyDeleteThanks! Since that comment is coming from you, I must be doing something right (hitting your sensitivity chip)
My the troops are out tonight!
@Tuxedo Cat: No, you have no idea.
ReplyDeleteI'm not angry at you. I just think you're stupid. Incredibly so.
You have no idea why this woman hanged herself. You have no idea and neither do I.
I posted my family history so that somebody who has never experienced suicide in their family could understand that it affects generations.
Don't try to co-opt my story and put your spin on it. You are a troll.
Nah, you've come nowhere near my ~sensitivity chip.~ What you did was ping my idiot radar when you said reception desks at hospitals work on an honor system. AN HONOR SYSTEM. The hospital that is treating the woman carrying the future king/queen of England uses the honor system when determining who to give confidential information to. Your name started standing out to me after that.
ReplyDelete@Jamie 2
ReplyDeleteActually, I do have an idea. I had a fiance who killed himself in front of me. He jumped off a balcony and fell on his head and died a few hours later. This was 18 years ago, but it seems like yesterday.
That could never compare to what you went through with your mom and aunts but I wanted you to know that I have been through something similar.
I definitely understand why you feel the way you do about the situation now.
My mother was a nurse, also two aunts and a cousin. That probably affects my viewpoint.
I don't know why you think I'm a troll, though. I post here every day on different subjects.
You called me stupid? Maybe I am, I don't know.
The world would be less colorful without people likehim in it. Shit, SOMEONE needs to stir the pot. God bless him for his wacky? views......
ReplyDeleteHospital is to blame for not having proper procedures in place to avoid the whole situation.
ReplyDeleteWe can't and never will know what pushed her over the edge. Saw this earlier and it's so sad.
ReplyDelete@Tuxedo Cat. That's terrible. Good luck.
ReplyDelete@Jamie 2
ReplyDeleteSame, Jamie 2
Anyone with a ouija board? It may spell s-t-e-v-e-n. p-u-s-h-o-double-f.
ReplyDeleteI agree with him.
ReplyDeleteHe can fuck. right. off.
ReplyDeleteOh Morissey, we really don't care about what you have to say, just go. Just go.
ReplyDeleteClearly, Morrissey never experienced how it is being pregnant.
ReplyDelete..and it ended up that she did have a history of 2 previous failed suicide attempts and was hospitalized in a psych unit..
ReplyDelete
