Jesse James Supports The NRA

I'm pretty sure that Jesse James is the only celebrity who is publicly supporting the NRA. It is not like he is not used to controversy so might as well get in the middle of this one too. He wrote on his Facebook page this weekend and said, "Since the 1980's California has led the nation with the strictest gun control laws. In the middle of this state I have seen more dead bodies than I can count... On a weekly basis Cop friends would always check in to make sure I was carying (sic) a gun at all times. They would want to see it to make sure. They would tell me "You better be packing." For the last 20 years living in California I could never let my guard down, not even for a minute. This is what living in a state with strict gun control was like." So, Jesse moved to Texas where they don't really have any gun control laws and he says he feels more safe than he ever has and he probably also likes knowing he can have sex with as many people as he wants without paps photographing him and can wear his Nazi outfits and give all the salutes he wants without anyone being any wiser.

  2. Cue the NRA telling Jesse James to shut his fat cheated-on-Sandra-Bullock mouth.

  3. I wonder who actually cares what he thinks on the subject? He is so gross, I still can't believe Sandra married him.

  4. I'm a member of the NRA and I didn't like their statement, nor do I care for Jesse, but the places with the strictest gun control laws always do have the worst crime stats. I think it's a matter of shutting the barn door after the horse has already managed to get out.

  5. I swear the more I find out about this man the more suspicious I get of Sandra Bullock. How could she have not known ANY of these things about him? She had to have been in favor of or liked most of it.

    1. @TE I'm do glad u brought that up bc the media have been ignoring the insane number of murders in Chicago this year all from guns. I'm not anti gun but the number is so staggering especially there was one day or week dozens were killed but it didn't make the news!

  9. I don't really believe he has cops phone him every week to make sure he still has his gun on him.

  13. For all the politicians wanting gun control, and not wanting armed guards in schools, where do your kids go? 9 out of 10 go to schools with armed security, because laws they pass for we the people to obey don't apply to them.

  14. I thought what KP said was interesting.

Sandra bullock is of German descent. Fluently speaks German. Has accepted awards in german at German award shows. How does an American actress of German descent married to a known neo nazi sympathizer never come under scrutiny?
I find it all very odd. She must be more than a beloved comic actress for none of that mud to have stuck to her, not then, not now? Amazing.

  15. @hairydawg-I know. Ooh he's such a badass he has cop friends. Dude is a douche in Texas or California and if he starts mouthing off around here some Texas good 'ol boys will put him in his place. I don't know any cowboys who like Nazis.

  16. Jesse James is ridiculous. Yeah, he could never let his guard down for a minute, because he lives such an action-packed life of danger. Cop friends checked in with him weekly to make sure he had a gun. Uh huh. I can't think of a single circumstance or context that would make his claims the slightest bit plausible. Ugh, he is a word-class a-hole and douchebag.

And add me to the list of people who find the whole Sandra thing odd and suspicious.

  17. I think it is too late for the U.S. to go back to a time before there were guns because there have always been guns since Caucasians came on the scene. It reminds me of Prohibition and looks how great that turned out.
I almost think it might make sense to have gun ownership be mandatory. It would be messy initially but I think shootings would become rarer if everyone was on the same playing field.

  20. Hah, @hairydawg, I scared my cat laughing!

My sis lives in Texas and they are seriously into their guns. I don't have a problem with it, but I don't think we need semi-automatic rifles to go hunting. I have cop friends that say they just like shooting (at the range, of course), and I could totally see that. I love archery but would never do it outside of the range.

He's thinking of NY. I'm pretty sure NY has stricter gun laws than CA.

I don't even understand this, he's from the OC, and he's a punk at that. Always has been. Moving on...

  23. LOL @ motcollins, I think it would be safe to say he probably ran with some unsavoury types and must have met others in conjunction with his business.

    @Black Cat

I kind of doubt that. He's a rich little twat who wants to play at being from the hood. The type of person who goes looking for trouble so he can show off his bollocks.

FFS, Anthony Kiedis is more of a hard ass than JJ.

  25. The violence in Mexico has more to do with drugs then gun control. I really doubt he has cop friends in the first place, let alone ones who speak to him daily asking if he is "packing".

  26. Jesse James, your made-up cop story makes you look foolish.

    What he says:
"My cop buddies always check in to be sure I'm packing heat."

    What he thinks it says:
"It's so dangerous here, and the cops want me to help because I'm great. They want everyone to carry, but especially me."

    What it really says:
"We have to keep telling him because he's too dumb to remember."

Even Team Rocket is smarter than this guy!

  27. Regarding Sandra, she's probably gay and had caricatural ideas about virility, which would explain why she picked the most ridiculous macho guy as a beard.

  28. Zeeky, that actually made me laugh out loud. The guy is a tool, and not the sharpest one in the shed.

  30. I'm seriously starting to question Sandra Bullock's judgement for having married this schmuck.

  31. I grew up with guns, hunting, reloading rounds, target practice, and all kinds of gun-related entertainment and recreation. I will always believe that adults without a criminal record should be able to own firearms, but I also worry about the results of guns being in the hands of dangerously unbalanced people. As for the NRA, they are a freakish cult of bizarro wackjobs, and that's on their best days. On their worst, they are sickos with the most bizarre race-mongering white self-pity nonsense you can imagine. Many NRA members fear that ZOG is going to creep into their homes and kill them. The group was taken over by the LaPierres twenty years ago, and it's now a strange cult. I believe that adults ought to be allowed to purchase and own weapons, but the NRA is not even connected to that issue, really. They're more about anti-gay, anti-immigrant and anti-American rhetoric.

  32. @Unknown 1 - Mexico DOESN'T have strict gun laws: "the acquisition and ownership of certain firearms and ammunition remains a constitutional right to all Mexican citizens and foreign legal residents".

Contrast this with UK gun law, where guns ARE very strictly controlled, total number of gun deaths in

UK, 2010: 138 (including homicides, accidents, suicides)
    Mexico, 2010 : 11,309 deaths (homicides only)
    USA, 2010 : 9,146 (homicides only).

Do you see the difference? (figures are from the Swiss Dept. of Foreign Affairs)

  33. One of the biggest problems that Mexico faces to tackle gun crime is the fact that a lot of the weapons used are smuggled illegally from the US.

90 weapons for 100 people in the US ... obviously, lax gun regulations are really working to keep everybody safe and homicides low ...
