I loved the odd couple. He was hilarious. Rest in Peace.

Aw, I loved Quincy! Eating a sandwich at an autopsy made me laugh so hard when I was a kid. RIP, Mr Klugman.
ReplyDeleteI loved "The Odd Couple". I thought the show was so stylish and sophisticated when I was a child. Although he had divorced Brett Somers, he never remarried until she passed away. A classy gentleman.

I always thought he & Bret Somers were such a great couple, she died a few years back.

ReplyDeleteOscar made me laugh...the Odd Couple really was a great show in it's time, but Quincy was the best.
ReplyDeleteHe was a terrific dramatic actor too. Check him out in "The Days of Wine and Roses" as Jack Lemmon's AA counselor.

Odd as it may sound, Quincy M.E. was one of the reasons I developed my interests in medicine and forensic anthro. It was a treat seeing a cool, fun scientist solving crimes.

I remember when he played John Stamos's father in You Again? It bombed on NBC in the 80s then Stamos got Full House. It was a really bad show.
