Emily Maynard Chooses Dancing With The Stars Instead Of The Bachelorette
Well, Emily Maynard is going to get another few minutes on the television. According to Star, Emily is going to be on the upcoming season of Dancing With The Stars and she thinks it is a better move than being on The Bachelorette. Well, you get more money for less work on DWTS. Yes, lots more physical work, but if you get eliminated in the first few weeks then it comes out to a much better deal than Bachelorette. Apparently Emily wants her own talk show. On Bachelorette she gets the camera and the focus and is the star. On DWTS she will be at the bottom of the star list and she will get three minutes a week with minimal talking. I just think she wants to keep her face on as many projects as she can.
Ok. I've never heard of this gal. I'm assuming she is a reality "star". Is this the path to stardom today?????
ReplyDeleteLooks that way!!! That, and "leaked" sex tapes ;)
DeleteI have no idea who this is! Either I'm getting old (egads!) or I've developed some "taste" in my gossip hounding. *insert eye roll*
ReplyDeleteWhy is the Bachelor still on television? It's ridiculous! Bring back that trashy Slut Island show. We know everyone is hooking up anyway. Don't try and be coy about it. Just let the TV porn happen. Ok!
@dia papaya Are you talking about Temptation Island? That show was such trash but was oh so good!! As if you wouldn't cheat if you were thrown into that situation! I totally would!
DeleteCan we just have posts on real celebrities? This trick and that teen mom thing below are unwanted.
ReplyDeleteWasn't Emily married to, or involved with the Hendrick (NASCAR's Top Team) family, perhaps with the son or brother who died in a plane crash? IIRC that's her claim to fame.
ReplyDeleteyep, I remembered correctly -
ReplyDeleteOn October 24, 2004, around 12:30 p.m. EDT, Hendrick died in a plane crash near Martinsville, Virginia. With him were nine others who also lost their lives. The plane, on its way to the Martinsville Speedway, crashed on Bull Mountain due to pilot error in heavy fog.
After Ricky died, his 18-year-old fiancée Emily Maynard found out she was pregnant. Maynard gave birth to his daughter, Josephine Riddick "Ricki" Hendrick, who was named after him with a suffix of "-ine," on June 29, 2005,[2][3] and would later compete in season 15 of The Bachelor and season eight of The Bachelorette.
ABC was considering ANOTHER installment starring her? Huh?? I don't think so.
ReplyDelete@bflogurl, I'm with you. I am no longer interested in anything she does.
ReplyDeleteShe has as much chance of getting a talk show as Kate plus 8, probably will be eliminated early like Kate too. She's got no personality and mumbles.
ReplyDeleteWell Melissa Rycroft got some Hollywood gigs from her appearance on Bachelor and DWTS, so I guess Emily figures the same will happen to her.
ReplyDeleteIf you people don't like the topic here is an idea...don't read about it.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch Real housewives and if enty posts about it...why, I just skip that entry instead of wasting my time reading about it and commenting on it.
Wait a minute. I'm confused. Is she being offered to be the Bachelorette again and had a choice between doing that or Dancing with the Stars?
ReplyDeleteI didn't know who she is either. I was thinking, "Isn't she one of the Dixie Chicks???"
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm posted about her in the comments back when she was announced as the new Bachlorette. He said she was a complete media whore immediately after her fiances plane crash.
ReplyDeleteI've watched a couple seasons of the bachelor. I'm not a fan of Emily's, very diva behavior thinly veiled behind sweet, innocent southern charm. Like the kind of person who would smile her pearly whites, offer you a cup of iced tea, while stabbing you in the back.
