Blind Item #5
This B- list movie and television actress who got her fame in the movies and was almost A list, spends a great deal of her time talking about food and eating right and being healthy and eating three meals a day. The thing is that she is only eating about once every two or three days and about half the time she eats then, she throws it up.
Kate Hudson
ReplyDeleteGwyneth Paltrow
ReplyDeleteGoop?
ReplyDeleteHow does anyone live like that?
ReplyDeleteJessica Alba?
ReplyDeleteHow can you survive like that? If it is Goop, I feel very bad for her.
ReplyDeleteGwyneth Paltrow
ReplyDeleteGoop's not B-. More like B+ or A-. I think maybe Kate Hudson is a better guess.
ReplyDeleteUgh, i hate throwing up! Get help whoever it is.
ReplyDelete@aunt seriously! i feel like i'm dying whenever it happens :(
DeleteSo true!
ReplyDeleteGoop is bulimic ...no surprise there but I think after the bone scare she eats (her doctor said she had the bones of an 85 year old woman)...remember when she broke something a few years ago ?
ReplyDeleteCould this be the Zooey? She was on Top Chef a few years ago - I remember she was vegan.
ReplyDeleteChristina Ricci?
ReplyDeleteChristina Ricci?
ReplyDeleteNot Zooey. This is someone older. It sounds like her career has already peaked "was almost A list". Zooey is peaking now. Plus I wouldn't say she spends "a great deal of her time talking about food and eating right". Paltrow fits better, although I'd say that she was briefly on the A list, back in the "Shakespeare in Love" days. Her career is now much more a B list and that's pretty much just because she still has so much name recognition. Playing Iron Man's girlfriend is her most recent well-known contribution to movies. Not exactly A list anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe talking about eating right and being healthy part sounds like Goop. I always thought her deal was to eat lots of junk food and then throw up. An old blind was that she loved Whoppers back in her macrobiotic days and would gorge on them then purge.
ReplyDeletenot gwynnie. she was also in 'contagion' not that long ago, which was a pretty big movie. and what TV has she done?
ReplyDeletei also think she's still higher than B-.
Didn't she die in like the first few minutes?
DeleteYes she did and she's been on glee at least twice.
DeleteAnother not Zooey here. She says that she has food quirks due to allergies and that being vegan helps.

ReplyDeleteGoop was on Glee not that long ago, I would say that counts as TV.
ReplyDeleteAn appearance on an episode of Glee does not make one a tv actress.
ReplyDeleteGwyneth is definitely a movie actress.
Could be Kat Dennings - She started out in movies, now she's a tv show and she's lost a ton of weight this season.
Kate Hudson has only done a little TV (does a 4-episode run on "Glee" count?) but the phrase "got her fame in the movies and was almost A list" sounds like a reference to "Almost Famous," the movie for which KH got an Oscar nom. And Paltrow is still A-list for the "Iron Man" franchise, if nothing else.
ReplyDeleteI second the Christina Ricci guess.
ReplyDeleteClaire Danes?
ReplyDeleteI'm with Rosemary on this one...I thought the blind was an Almost Famous reference too
ReplyDeleteCan you imagine how hangry this person would be?
ReplyDeleteI'd love to date a bulimic chick for a month or 2. As long as she doesn't cut too.
ReplyDeleteElizabeth Banks likes to talk about food a lot...
ReplyDeleteLucy Lu or however you spell her last name. She started in movies and I would call her almost A back in the charlie's angles days...
ReplyDeleteSugar- I used to have a pretty bad eating disorder like that, sometimes I had no choice but to throw up, because my body was so starved for food I moved past the hunger stage and I would get really really sick after I ate and threw it all up, not intentionally.
ReplyDeleteED is a huge cross to bear, and a struggle to free yourself from. I truly believe it is like addiction, once you start you're never really "cured" just "recovered" because even though I'm not as body conscious as I used to be, whenever I get really stressed out or upset, I tend to fall back on my destructive eating habits as a way to have control in my life.
Really sad for whoever this is, I pray she finds help.
And she needs to be careful, I developed a bevy of health problems from my ordeals. Hypoglycemia, ulcers, throat problems...
ReplyDeleteKate Bosworth looks terribly thin at the moment.
ReplyDelete:o(
ReplyDeleteWhat about Alicia Silverstone (is that the right last name?)She's also very into veganism.
ReplyDeleteSherry - Yep, Silverstone is the right name.
ReplyDeleteThis kinda reminds me of River Pheonix, he went on about eating healthy, exercising, all that stuff. Except he didn't barf or starve himself, he just took hard drugs.
I hate to even put it out there but Mila Kunis lost a ton of weight. I know she took off weight for Black Swan, but she never looked the same after that.
ReplyDeleteIt is all of them...cinephreak..my 65 year old mother died from Anorexia. It was listed on her death certificate that she died from malnutrition. She developed it in the last 3 years of her life. I'm a little overweight, but because of what happened to my mom, I won't focus on it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that's with you.
Don't think it's the Goopster. She wasn't "almost A", she was definitely A, arguably still is. Also, she's really thin but not sickly thin.
ReplyDeleteI think this is probably someone super thin if she's only eating once every 2-3 days. Even if she wasn't throwing it up, there's no way she'd be even close to a healthy weight.
Jennifer Goodwin?
ReplyDeleteLutefisk, that's a great guess, unfortunately. When she regained the weight she lost for Black Swan, she complained about how it came back in the wrong places, and she lost it all again pretty quickly.
ReplyDeleteChristina Ricci, Kate Bosworth both fit this blind. This is so sad. You don't have to be all that thin actresses! Look at Salma Hayek, Sofia Vergara, Jennifer Lopez, many big big names are normalish sized. Men like women, with bubble buts, natural boobs, a soft curve to the hip, not bony manish dieing skeletons. Stop starving and puking girls! Please! There's no reason to be that thin. How the hell does someone only eat once every two or three days? The fuck?
ReplyDeleteLong time lurker, first time poster...The goop had a pbs series about food with mario batalli about 2 yrs ago, before glee. She is definatley not A list for movies anymore. she blows in the Ironman movies
