This B-/C+ list television and movie actor who used to be B+ and on a very very hit cable show has his D list celebrity girlfriend running around in circles. He is always threatening to dump her unless she does exactly what he says and when he says it. He has her get out of bed at 5am to go get him Starbucks and has sent her back when she gets the order wrong. On a recent flight he made her rub his neck the entire two hours and when she wanted to stop he told her that she could stop when the fasten seat belt sign came on. Food? She is not allowed to touch it because he does not want her fat and ruining his reputation. Smoking? Nope, but he can.

ReplyDeleteFor people that wonder why anyone would go out with him I have an answer. Piven is a good looking guy. If a woman didn't read this site, or any other gossip blog, they might not know what a douche he is and how he treats women. He must be charming enough at the first date I would imagine. But if ANYONE, no matter how good looking or rich, woke me up at 5 am to go get a fucking coffee, I would walk out the door and never come back. And I would take a couple of his wigs with me for a laugh. It's not like he would take someone to court to get them back. LOL

I've met him a few times, unfortunately, and he is so incredibly grotesque and slimy and sleezy, it's beyond disgusting. He was in a group of guys, and this is BEFORE Entourage, so being John C. best friend and sometime bit-part movie side-kick was his best claim to "fame." And, he was STILL one of the skeeziest shameless turd I've ever had the unfortunate experience of being near. I kid you not. He's a mysogynist prick, he knows he is a mysogynist prick, he LOVES being a mysogynist prick, and he LOVES LOVES demeaning any woman throws herself at his mysogynist little prick. He is a gruesome twerp. And, he and John hate each other now. Haven't spoken in years. (Sadly, John's got ISSUES and isn't very nice :( Now THAT was a let down...

As for the "she isn't allowed to get fat" thing, Piven probably doesn't have to worry; Jas looked like she weighed about 95 lbs on ANTM, although hypocrite Tyra never really called her on it the way she's done with other girls.

ReplyDeleteI'm joining in with the "not Jaslene" chorus. Jaslene had a kind of small cleft in her chin that this girl doesn't seem to have, plus Piven is short, and she was like 5'9". Even with those boots, she is about his height in the DM photos. So I think he is with some other girl.

Psychoanalysts say that masochism isn't about "liking pain" or being demeaned/degraded, so much as it is about experiencing security when a man is abusive, dominant, threatening, controlling, etc., etc. Often, the masochistic personality is build up in a childhood in which the infant or toddler or walking child is encouraged to please others and to receive praise from others while at the same time knowing that a fierce attack will come from loved ones if anything goes wrong. Abusive parents, emotionally abusive parenting styles, etc. -- or a father who commands the daughter to stand in place, to parade, to please him, to be silent, secondary, obedient, etc.
There are a lot of women who experience security in these kinds of hideous abusive dominant-submissive situations, and therapists have their work cut out trying to address that behavior! It's a deep part of some women's (and men's) psyches.
That's not Jaslene, at all. She has a manly chin and the nose is WAY different.

Hey all - probably no one is reading this one anymore, but to follow-up / answer, Piven is just GROSS. Sloppy, skeezy, shameless. He's out to get laid, period. He LOVES treating females like yelping hungry dogs. He is crass and unapologetic and wants simply to f*ck whatever is willing to f*ck him. He's has no standard other than they be willing to get f*cked and female. He doesn't pay attention to them, he makes fun of them to their faces, degrades them, demoralizes them in front of people, then yanks them off somewhere to f*ck 'em, then disregard. That's it. That's not even what shocked me. What shocked me is that ANY human being was okay with being near him, male or female. He's no one to be friends with, support or condone. In person, he's not funny, he's not charismatic, he's the opposite of charming, he's beyond self-absorbed and egotistical, and he's not even cute. He's short, stalky, pathetically self-conscience of his hairline and has moobs bigger than most natural female breasts. He's despicable and gross and embarassing. And, yet, women go for it! The very definition of starf*ckers, even if the "star" is a greasy boobed mysogynist JERK, whose fun is more about making fun of any girl who throws herself at a undeniably phenomenal jerk who treats them as horrible as his small mind can muster. Because, for Piven, only a girl that desperate matches his subzero level of shame, thereby validating his right to be so awful of a human being. I kid you not.
ReplyDeleteAs for John, he's not into shaming people or racking up conquests. He's just prickly and unkind and disinterested in life. I think Piven used to amuse him, like a little wind-up toy, and they had this old time bond from growing up. But, as John got deeper into his depression and mysery and disappointment and even hate, and Piven's ego rose to stratospheric levels, as SOON as he got Entourage (and before it was such a hit), John started despising Piven, probably because Piven actually acted HAPPY, and Piven started LOATHING John, resenting him for not being HAPPY for Piven, too. John thought Piven was thankless for all the help; Piven felt John was jealous and didn't appeciate his greatness. John is an unhappy grump, really like a Mr. Magoo, but without the heart of gold buried in there. Piven is the scum of the Earth. Neither is likeable whatsoever, but John is more like the crab miser you ignore, letting him be a sour curmudgeon in the corner, if he someone happened to show up somewhere - he'll only salt those who step under his dark cloud; Piven's the one you proactively ban citzenship / attendance.
The one of that group that is surprising VERY nice is John C. McGinley. They were all buddies, and JOhn is shockingly sweet, down to earth, very smart and kind. He usually plays such jerks, and he's so far from one - it's a testament to his talent. I'm always glad to see him succeed. Oh, the other buddy, who fell from graces? Tom Sizemore. Yeah ... 'nuff said.
