This former almost A list actress who used to be on a hit show has had so much work done to her face that when she finally got a rare audition for a part she was laughed out of the room. She could make no facial expressions and everything ended up looking like she had a trout pout whether she was supposed to be crying or laughing or smiling. Plus, she went under the knife not that long ago and the scars have not completely healed so she is wearing way more makeup than usual.

DeleteI'll throw Rose MacGowan into the ring. This is a sad list isn't it? LFB's face is seriously, seriously botched, though. Has been for a while. She was in some movie with Heather Graham where HG was hiding her pregnancy and LFB was unrecognizable.

It shows how truly stupid it is to f with your face because when these women age and can't stop doing it it looks grotesque and strane. The fillers are so weird, everyone's been getting the cheek fillers. Like Olivia Newton John in that Travolta Holiday video, looks like a wax doll of herself. I think that's part of what made Lindsay look so ridiculous in LnD.

The entire shape of her face has changed & John Travolra looks like a dummy from a wax museum too. That video clip was like a wreck, wanted to look away but couldn't. Only good thing is money made is going to their charities.

"Finally got a rare audition" sounds like someone who hasn't been on anything in a while. That would take Teri Hatcher out of the mix. Her show hasn't even been off the air a year yet.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I'd call Twin Peeks that big of a hit. It was a cult thing back in the day but it was only on one or 2 seasons. And was she really 'A' back then? I think the Nicholson fling gave her more notoriety. That being said she does look horrifically over done.

ReplyDeleteI thought it was a made for ABC Family kind of movies until I just looked it up. Apparently it was a real movie. Awful, but entertaining. I remember John Corbett's character being an asshole and it really disappointed me. I also didn't recognize Lara Flynn Boyle.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to jump into the Rose McGowan bandwagon based on the pictures of her in the Daily Mail. I think I recall seeing pictures/reading about how LFB had actually stopped with all the surgeries/injections which was why people had not seen much of her lately.

ReplyDeleteWhy do they do it? For the same reason that women starve themselves in Hollywood. Very thin and young is all that is wanted when it comes to female out there (and if you're rail-thin, have fake boobs inserted).

She had an old Hollywood type of beauty and she fucked it up in a major way. These women don't learn from each other's mistakes. These days when Rose McGowan has dark hair, she looks like a caricature of Julia Sugarbaker from Designing Women. Bless her heart.

ReplyDeleteOh Twin Peaks was massive, I mean that was basically a generation ago and people still know it. And LFB was really a huge IT girl for a handful of years after that with the Practice and then her fling with Jack Nicholson.

In its first broadcast as a regular one-hour drama series, Twin Peaks scored ABC's highest ratings in four years in its time period. The numbers started going down the first season when they put it against Cheers, but it chipped away at Cheers's ratings and then shot back up to record levels when they took it into a different time slot.

David Lynch did something no one ever does these days -- in the middle of the second season he resolved the murder, and at that point the series was basically over. You can argue for or against it -- I know people think Homeland already should have resolved some of its major character storylines rather than let them continue into a third season.
Rose McGowan, Hitshow: Charmed, barely does anything besides strolling down the streets, looking for paps. She looks caked up when it comes to make up and i also find her change in hair color very weird; maybe a wig to hide scars from a facelift?

ReplyDeleteRose McGowan was my first guess. But she has always consistently worked. Wouldn't really be a "rare" audition. So my guess are Courteney Cox, Lara Flynn Boyle, and Heather Locklear.
