Blind Item #2

What former A+ list all movie actor and still a solid B lister in television and movies told his ex he could not spend time with his kids over the holidays because he had caught the flu. Turns out though the 23 year old woman he is seeing now told him that she wanted no part of any kids and that if the aging actor wanted her, that he was going to have to make a choice. He chose the 23 year old.

  1. Jennie Garth's ex, Peter something... the father vampire in twilight.

  2. Jennie Garth's ex couldn't possibly have been a former A+ list all movie actor when her name is how we remember him.

  4. Was Jude Law ever in tv?

  5. Whomever the 23 year old is, she gets a failing grade in gold digging.

Charlie Sheen fits the criteria, but can anyone imagine him saying he had the flu when he really wanted was sex? He would just tell the truth. Besides, he pays his ladies and no way are they going to turn down some Sheen cash because they don't like kids. He might buy them a car!

    1. @basil totally. I first thought Charlie too but the clues don't fit exactly and then I'm like, Charlie may be a ridiculous addict of anything he gets his hands on, women included, but he's no liar.

    2. He also seems to genuinely love his kids.

  9. Probably way, way off, but I'm going to guess Timothy Hutton - his wife filed for divorce this year.

  12. There's a saying my momma has for that, " El pan estira mad que el tren." Which means lady bits have more pull than a train does when it comes to influencing a man.

  13. I like the Jude Law guess but is he a B lister in television?
I checked out Peter Facinelli's twitter and it looks like he spent Christmas at the airport. Maybe he got stuck somewhere because of the weather.
Charlie is also a good guess.

  14. I'm going with Christian Slater. No arguing about his former A+ status!! Heathers and Pump Up the Volume pretty much ruled my youth.

  15. I second the Dennis Quaid answer - he's in the DM: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2254567/Dennis-Quaid-spotted-mystery-blonde-airport-weeks-after.html

I'm so glad I'm on the winning side of the equation of pussy power! I'd say Dennis Quaid. What a loser. He deserves to be left out in the cold.

  18. Is Quaid on TV?

I really don't want this to be him - loved him in Enemy Mine and that radio movie. But day-um, that's a lotta years in between.

  19. My ex would so do this except he couldn't pull anyone these days!
But if there is a concert/ night out/ anything else he will cancel on my son without a second thought.

    1. Oh, im board with not digging the dick husband who blows his kids off. The sad thing is, when he is sorry, the kids wont give a shit for him.

  21. Dennis probably looked at his kids, like, "I love ya'll, but I got to go & hit this and then I'll be back." He's an ass trying to get ass.

Dennis Quaid was on the tv show Vegas I would say he's a solid b definitely him what an ass

  23. Whoever this guy is, he's an idiot. His old ass should be searching for a woman who wants to be with him and his kids. Yeah, she's probably not going to be a hot, bouncy, 23 year old but whatever. It's life.

  24. I'll never forget something a wise lady told me when I was young and single - if you're considering marrying a guy, don't just try to imagine what kind of husband and father he'd be. Try to imagine what kind of father he'd be if he wasn't your husband anymore.

We've been married 12 years and I expect this to last, but I also know that if we split up, no one and nothing could keep my husband away from his daughter.

    1. Nora Ephron had a great quote along these lines - "Never marry a man you wouldn't want to be divorced from."

  25. Dennis Quaid is currently on "Vegas" on CBS.

  26. @Amy very true. I think at this point, I completely ignore list status when I read blinds. idk why, but I read it, forget about it, and keep it moving. oops.

  27. In defense of Dennis Quaid, right after he broke up with Meg Ryan and there were all the rumors that it was because she had affair with Russel Crowe, there was a reporter trying to get him to say something about the whole drama and he said (to the best of my memory) "look, buddy, you might as well just quit digging. Even if I hated her? I would say anything negative about her to you. She's the mother of my children and that matters."
He never disses Meg or talks about what happened - so he gets a benefit-of-the-doubt card from me on this.

  30. Agreed, @Kinsey! I was never the type who just had to have kids, and a big part of my decision to finally do so had to do with the fact that my husband would be (and is) a great dad. He's probably a better parent than I am in some ways, but we balance each other out. Even if our marriage failed (never gonna happen!), I would never worry that my kids are taken care of and fully loved by their father.

  31. The difference in that Dennis Quaid quote was his son was old enough to have known he had dissed Meg. And he probably knew Quaid was no saint and hadn't been for a long time.

I'm sure Quaid's next wife thought it would be different with her. Imagine her surprise when he was the exact same way with her.

  32. Dennis Quaid is in the Daily Mail today so Dennis Quaid but i don't think the woman is 23 years old (she looks older)

  33. Even with Twilight--P-Fac has never been A list.

My ex decided that a college hockey game was more important than his daughter's first ever Christmas concert as 2nd chair flute. He TEXTED her to say something came up and he couldn't make it. But we live in a small area--and I was informed of what that "something else" was. His loss--he sucks! His daughter will figure it out eventually.

  34. Can't stop hearing the Prince song "Pussy Control" playing in the background while reading the guesses. Agree it's DQ but I'd have never guessed without others' input. How lame!! I used to think he was a decent guy. Seems like ages ago.

  35. Jude law is my guess.

  37. I guessed Quaid right away, but they said "kids" and they only had one, who at this point must be at least a teenager.

  38. Where are all of these straight people popping up from in Hollywood? If this were Ted Casablanca's blind, the 23-year-old would be a guy.
