  3. Jennifer Lawrence and Dinero?

  4. how about joaquin phoenix? he just completed a couple of projects with actresses who would fit.

  5. When Steven Speilberg has to refer to you as "Mr. President" you're crazy. Daniel Day Lewis takes his job way seriously.

  6. Is Sean Penn working with anyone now?

  9. Sally Field/Daniel Day Lewis

  10. Christian Bale??

  11. Wow, a lot of candidates for this one.

  12. No way is Sally Field B list. Two Academy Awards and the Flying Nun make her A+++ forever>

  13. Amy Adams on Joaquin Phoenix?

  14. i definitely don't buy daniel day-lewis. he's very respected among other actors. he's just a method actor---that doesn't make him scary and insane.

  15. First thought i had was sean penn. however...... It may be someone we all think is a sweetie- like hanks or clooney!

  18. JLaw and BCoop. He played bipolar a little too well.

  19. I'd be inclined to go with Cooper of all of the names thrown out here -- I'm reading "very recent A-list" as an indication of when the guy attained stardom, not when he made the film with the creeped-out actress.

  20. i thought the 'very recent A list.....' thing meant they were recent co-stars----not that he recently became A list. no?

  21. Emily Blunt and Tom Cruise.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I like the Russell Crowe guess.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Brad Cooper isn't all movies, and when was he nominated for an Oscar?

  25. It's not Bale and Hathaway since they slept together during filming. I can't see Sally Field using the word 'freak.' My guess is Hathaway and Russell Crowe.

  26. Kirsten Dunst and Viggo Mortensen?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Amy Adams & Leaf....oops, I mean Joaquin.

  28. Amy Adams & Leaf....oops, I mean Joaquin.

  29. I changed my mind. Definitely Blunt and Cruise.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Viggo...creepy?...don't even go there..

    ReplyDelete
  31. Mmm...Viggo....but I digress.

I was going to say Michelle Pfieffer/Johnny Depp but Dark Shadows wrapped up a while ago. I'm loving the Blunt/Cruise guess.

  32. Blunt and Cruise without a doubt. Heard lots of insider gossip on this.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Way on board for the Emily Blunt/Tom Cruise guess. "All You Need is Kill" is listed as currently filming on IMDB, which is as recent as you can get!

Tom Cruise is definitely scary and a freak but not a great actor, so I think that lets him out. Daniel Day-Lewis is a great actor, but I've never heard anyone refer to him as scary or a freak. Can't think who would qualify on both counts.

  35. not Blunt and Cruise: they dinnered together several times (this week-end for example)
not Crowe and Hathaway:she said many nice stuffs on him and they spent times times together during their preparation and she's A list
not Bale and Hathaway: apparently at TDKR's NY premiere, she wanted to present him her Vassar friends and she's A list ( i don't buy "their affair")
not Amy Adams and Joaquim Phoenix: she's A list
not Zaldana and Bale (they worked in OUT OF FURNACE):according to Willem Daffoe,it was "all stars, all professionals and no diva"
not Sally Fields and DDL:if she's B list, Barbara Streisand is D list

    ReplyDelete
  36. Emma Stone and Sean Penn?

    ReplyDelete
  37. This could be DDL and Sally Field. The actress here acknowledges that the guy is a great actor. DDL is really intense and gets completely immersed in his acting. If you don't click with him, I can see how it could be really tough to deal with someone that intense.

  38. Did Tom Cruise win an Oscar? I know he has been nominated but I don't think he's ever won. Bradley Cooper's never won (don't think he's been nominated before either).
That being said, I have no clue who this is.

  41. I read this to mean that the actor very recently gained A list status.

I was thinking someone younger, but I don't know who....

    (Shia? Garfield? Some douchey teen?)

    ReplyDelete
  42. You only have to ask his neighbours, who never see him, how weird DANIEL D lewis is! Most describe him as odd.

  43. Commas are your friend!

"... describing her very recent, A list all movie Academy Award winner/nominee actor, co-star."

    So, very recent co-star.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sean Penn or Joaquin Phoenix. I'm leaning toward Phoenix. That dude is ODD.

    ReplyDelete
  45. My first thought was Daniel Day-Lewis. But Sally Field isn't B-list. I like the Tom Cruise guess, but then this should be labelled "Easy"!

    ReplyDelete
  46. i change my idea: Amy adams/Joaquin Phoenix
i just read an interview with Amy Adams and she says Phoenix is a great actor but "you can't spend time with him"

i don't understand why Adams and Watts can be B list while Hathaway or Emma Stone are A list

  47. Sally Field is definitely not "all movie". She was in four seasons of "Brothers & Sisters".

    ReplyDelete
  48. And I think Sally is way too classy to go on record saying something like that About a costar. This sounds like someone younger and/or less filtered.

  50. How about Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson? He is pretty freaky.

    ReplyDelete
  51. 'I think he may be insane.' how sad is it that so many names come to mind when I read that statement? hahahaha My guesses are:

    1. Mr Bale
    2. BB Thornton
    3. Tommy Girl
    4. Mr Gibson

    ReplyDelete
  52. amy adams did a few episodes of the office.

I agree that daniel day lewis is a serious method actor. not insane. there have never been any crazy rumors about him that I've heard.

I'm surprised no one has guessed mickey rourke. don't know the actress.
