Early Christmas morning, police were called to the home of former MLB player Andruw Jones and arrested him for beating his wife. The former Yankee and Atlanta Brave has just signed a $3.5M one year deal to play in Japan. I wonder if he is going to lose that now. Ever since MLB began cracking down on steroids, Andruw has pretty much sucked so that should tell you something. Back in 2001, Andruw had sex with two strippers at a strip club in front of six other guys. You know, just a little side note.

Aside from the wife beating (which, of course he's an asshole) I always find it interesting to remember these awesome players who just kinda flopped after MLB started testing more.

ReplyDeleteMy husband is from Curacao (and is Dutch). In Holland Andrew is spelled Andrew. Andruw is just an odd way of spelling the name, but not Dutch.
