    I never thought Ashton would be the type to help when someone vomited. It's a random thing to say, but it's true. I can't tell what he's thinking with that facial expression, though. Shocked he's standing there with his hand on her back.

    That was an interesting comment.
    My boyfriend (now husband) had long hair and it "concerned" my mother. But when they both came with me when I had my wisdom teeth out and I came out of the anesthesia violently ill and too loopy to stand, and he bodily carried me to the sink in the recovery room (before my mother even had time to react), and then he held me as I vomited and filled the sink with bloody gauze, my mom's heart softened. Forget about the long hair, this guy had a good heart.

    Later, when I was talking about the relationship with a friend and the question came, How do you know he loves you?, that was the first thing I could think of. So the "moment I knew he loved me" is not a grand story of flowers and romantic gestures, but an act of BEING THERE with strong arms around me while I was sick and disgusting. My friend agreed that that was when he realized that the woman he considered a friend was love-worthy wife-and-mother material, when she tended to him when he got sick when they backpacked Mexico. These are the hints of how things will be and who you can count on when life is not so rosy.




    So Mila may be bringing out a good side to Ashton. Good luck to them.

    @WUWT - I'll second that comment! My (then) husband went golfing the very day I had surgery (fortunately my parents were here to take care of me and our son!). My (now) husband took care of me, even changed my bandages, after my second surgery. I have crohn's and the surgery involves bandages near the butt....not pretty surgery, but what a doll for taking care of me! I was so afraid he'd want to go golfing, too.....
