The thing that is most shocking in this photo is not Miley Cyrus tonguing her boyfriend who is wearing a unicorn costume, but just the length of Miley's tongue. It is huge. Like Gene Simmons huge. Apparently chewing gum 24/7 really makes your tongue big.

@ABlake, I agree about AHS. Last season I was creeped out and sometimes downright uncomfortable (which I liked) but this season just doesn't give me the same feeling and I miss it. Maybe the asylum concept feels played out, I don't know.

Don't forget, Monday-Friday you are doing Hods work of accupuncture :) I can't even TELL you how euphoric it feels!! The needles might sting for a second, but then it stops and I honestly can't tell you where the needles are bc I keep my eyes shut and I don't feel a thing. I'm serious, u feel nothing. Then is it lucid dreaming when u dream while you're awake? I see the craziest images like I'm making my own movie. And then as I'm about to fall asleep its time to go. I leave feeling like I'm on cloud 9. The school I get it done at is still flooded from Sandy and I can't wait until they open again!

Omg seriously anytime u need it, I'm here Dia. I think I've mentioned a few times that the naturopath clinic I go to saved my life. I'm happy to spread the word as much as I can. I think people assume they are really getting stuck hard with needles which of course is scary, but it's not at all like that. It's so relaxing and immediately makes my pain go away. If u need to make extra cash why not offer Botox in your office? KIDDING!!!

Agree with the AHS commenters...last season was good, but this season just feels so forced. Instead of developing a couple good story lines, it feels like they're just taking every frightening thing they can come up with and throwing it at us to see what sticks.

I'm loving AHS this season - last season had a ton of story lines as well and I think there were 24+ ghosts created or revealed by the time it was all over. Love JLange's performance - also Lily Rabe, Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.

Mark Consuelos is an @$$hole. When he was in his heyday on All My Children, he was doing a paid promotion at a mall. He was running late because the weather was bad. He didn't smile one time. Was very short and ugly to everyone in line. He kept snarling to his handlers. I handed him a magazine that was a month old, where it named him one of the sexiest soap stars and asked him to sign it. He was like, "No, this is old." I can see why he never made it any bigger than being Mrs. Kelly Ripa. Horrible personality makes him ugly in my book.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love this season of AHS! I have always had a fascination with old insane asylums (I'm a weirdo, yes). My guess is Consuelos is in it, just to have another patient to kill off in a gory fashion. I have always adored Jessica Lange. She really is fabulous in this role.

ReplyDeleteI am loving this season of AHS! I think it's because the asylum is dark and creepy ALL of the time. The house last year was very pretty and seemed "safe" in the daytime, you know? The wonderful writing, sets, and acting this season make me fee like *I'M* trapped in the asylum, too, and it's deliciously frightening and off-putting.

dia, I don't think I realized that you do acupuncture! Wow. A dear friend has trigeminal neuralgia and it has been the ONLY thing to give her relief. I hope to start it myself for a myriad of health issues. katsm0711, your testimony just reinforced it! I'm going! Glad it's helping you.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear that about your friend. My best friend's Dad has trigeminal neuralgia too (I think it's a result of his MS). He has painful shocks in his face and would lose his balance all the time. He finally had a procedure done that has given him relief (after having at least a dozen that failed). Let me know if you want to know the name of the procedure, and I will pass along the acu tip to my friend.
