Apparently every actor in the 90's was in love with Kirstie Alley while she was married to Parker Stevenson. To hear Kirstie tell it, every guy in Hollywood was lined up to date her or wanted her and she wanted them all just as badly but her marriage vows kept her from actually being physical with any of them. Last week Kirstie shared with all of us how John Travolta is the love of her life and how close they came to having sex. Uh huh. Last night on Entertainment Tonight she says that during the filming of North And South that Patrick Swayze and Kirstie fell in love with each other while they were both married but that neither of them did anything about it physically because they were both married. Next week Kirstie will tell us all about the time she and George Wendt couldn't keep their hands off each other during Cheers and how Tom Cruise calls her late at night wanting to talk dirty.
This is beyond tacky. Show a bit of respect for Lisa, Kirsty. Not that you did back then if this is true, of course.

ReplyDeleteSwayze may be dead, but I don't think anyone says he was a saint, and I'm sure his wife knows that better than anyone else. I don't think it's offensive to a widow to hear that her husband had thoughts about another woman, but was loyal to his marriage vows. If it's true, it's unusual for Hollywood and speaks to the strength of their marriage.

I have always thought when Kirstie is sober she really isn't that into sex--she talks about it but I think she has a LOT of issues about herself and those things get between her and any kind of real relationships. I think she is much more into money, and property, and her kids than romance.

I think this is very insensitive to Lisa, Patrick S's widow. Kirstie is trying to prop up her desirability factor as she ages.
Even if the affair was never consummated, it was still an emotional affair, which will still be hurtful to his widow.
She used to be GORGE in the day-this totally seems plausible...so does Montana's point that she's spilling for book $$.
