Kirstie Alley Almost had Affair With Patrick Swayze

Apparently every actor in the 90's was in love with Kirstie Alley while she was married to Parker Stevenson. To hear Kirstie tell it, every guy in Hollywood was lined up to date her or wanted her and she wanted them all just as badly but her marriage vows kept her from actually being physical with any of them. Last week Kirstie shared with all of us how John Travolta is the love of her life and how close they came to having sex. Uh huh. Last night on Entertainment Tonight she says that during the filming of North And South that Patrick Swayze and Kirstie fell in love with each other while they were both married but that neither of them did anything about it physically because they were both married. Next week Kirstie will tell us all about the time she and George Wendt couldn't keep their hands off each other during Cheers and how Tom Cruise calls her late at night wanting to talk dirty.

    Travolta aside, in all fairness Kirstie in her prime was a very good looking woman. I think they only reason she is playing this game is to sell her book.

    Swayze may be dead, but I don't think anyone says he was a saint, and I'm sure his wife knows that better than anyone else. I don't think it's offensive to a widow to hear that her husband had thoughts about another woman, but was loyal to his marriage vows. If it's true, it's unusual for Hollywood and speaks to the strength of their marriage.

    yes, how tacky and awful that she said this. she's just dying for attention. I guess hurricane sandy took people's attention away from her for awhile so she wanted it back. also, as in yesterday's photos, calling the paps because she is sending some stuff to sandy victims? ugh.

    why people still want to interview her is beyond me. kirstie alley used to be gorgeous. now, she's just a loud mouth __________ and ___________ and __________. fill in the blanks.

    I am sure Lisa was aware of the dangers in Hollywood, but there's no need to cast doubt over her dead spouse now. Or any shadow. Even if there had been a full on affair, he's dead now and the only thing that can be changed is Lisa's memory of her life with him.

Anyway, if that's the case, then this would be similar to the time that Jada Pinkett "had an affair" with Marc Anthony (to promote her hetero-ness)

    Last time she was on DWTS, Kirstie had her diet thing to sell. This time she has to hawk her book. She is making the most of her opportunities.

    Makes sense she would pick John who is for sure not going to refute any hint of romance between them and Patrick who can't refute anything.

    I have always thought when Kirstie is sober she really isn't that into sex--she talks about it but I think she has a LOT of issues about herself and those things get between her and any kind of real relationships. I think she is much more into money, and property, and her kids than romance.

    When she was young, Kirstie Alley was gorgeous. Patrick Swayze was always gorgeous.

    But he's gone and cannot refute this. Do I think that's why she chose him to be her "almost-almost" partner? Yes. Do I believe it? I don't know. Do I think she should have revealed it even if it's true? No.

    Oh that Kirstie is such a manipulative,scheming cow. Grasping at straws for relevancy this late in her career. The scheming she did just to secure a spot on DWTS all stars was such a big turnoff. The show would have had higher ratings if she didn't waste a spot there.
    Her allegations about Patrick Swayze are vile and classless.
    It is amazing how all these men wanted her but she kept it only platonic...something beyond sex, whatever that means. Her slobbering like a sick hyena over Maksim only makes it worse. Is her final 15 up yet???

    I loved that mini-series when it came out. I only really watched it for P. Swayze, but I also thought Kirsti was absolutely gorgeous. Ahh, North and South and The Thorn Birds, two of my favorite 80's mini-series.

    The John Travolta crush claim may be another lame attempt to prove that John Travolta is not a bisexual.

    I think this is very insensitive to Lisa, Patrick S's widow. Kirstie is trying to prop up her desirability factor as she ages.
    Even if the affair was never consummated, it was still an emotional affair, which will still be hurtful to his widow.
