Hope Solo's Fiance Arrested For Beating Her On Day Before Their Wedding
What happens when you marry someone who has a really long criminal record and a known temper just two months after meeting them? Well, if you are US Women's Soccer Team goalie Hope Solo you get beaten by the man on the day before you were supposed to get married to him. Hope was scheduled to marry former NFL player, Jerammy Stevens yesterday, but at a party Monday night, Jerammy was arrested by police in Kirkland, WA after the couple got into a fight over where they would live after they were married. When officers arrived at the house, the found Hope with a cut, and Jerammy hiding behind a bed with blood stains on his shirt. Jerammy once had a very promising career in the NFL but destroyed it with his lack of effort and constant off the field problems. His last chance cam with Tampa Bay, but he was cut after being arrested for pot. He has also been arrested for reckless driving after crashing his car into a nursing home. I'm sure it is true love though and Hope even said in court yesterday that police were mistaken and that the blood and her cut must have come from somewhere else. Uh huh.
*shudders*
ReplyDeleteMy ex was also "let go" from the NFL for substance abuse problems. An angry alcoholic linebacker isn't fun.
Hope they both get some help.
Did they actually get married?
ReplyDeleteSad.
ReplyDeleteI like the imagery of him hiding behind a bed, though.
QUICK! Smash the pumpkin over his head and run!
ReplyDeleteIdiot.
ReplyDeleteI pray Hope has the smarts to walk away.
ReplyDeleteSweet sweet domestic abuse.
ReplyDeleteUgh. If this is happening before you walk down the aisle, run, do not walk, away from the relationship.
I mean, do your best to leave if it happens after, of course, but if it's happening beforehand STOP. It's a trap.
Yeah, he sounds like real husband material. Next she'll get pregnant and bring an innocent kid into this mess. Run, Hope, run. Those 'bad boys' are exciting but will bring you a life of misery.
ReplyDeleteWell that's no way to start a marriage. I hope she comes to her senses and dumps the guy.
ReplyDeleteIt's more fun if you read this story pronouncing his name like JIR-AMMY (Jerammy). Otherwise this story is pretty much awful.
ReplyDeleteIt makes total sense that Hope would love bad boys. Remember, her dad was a jailbird and Hope was actually conceived during a conjugal visit. Women end up being attracted to/marrying their father.
ReplyDeleteNot so much. I married someone who I truly believed to be my soulmate and left before my son was a year old because he was having severe delusions, paranoia, and complete breaks with reality, not to mention his mother beating me in front of my 11 year old son. My dad (thankfully) never raised a hand to my mom and I have absolutely wonderful parents.
Delete@Chris - true, but remember, the cycle CAN be broken. Open your eyes, ladies!
ReplyDeleteDidn't she have a bad upbringing? Sad
ReplyDeleteWait a minute, isn't she the one who said Maks was abusing her on DWTS???
ReplyDelete@LottaColada Yes, that was her
ReplyDeleteTrouble seems to follow her huh?
ReplyDeleteSo...Maksim Chmerkovskiy physically assaulted her on DWTS when cameras are ever-present yet no footage exists, and the guy with the bloody knife did nothing to her. Uh huh.
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like a real winner. She should probably marry him.
ReplyDeleteSounds like she's a hot mess all on her own.
ReplyDeleteLocal news this morning hasn't yet been able to confirm that she married him yesterday. I'm wondering why they didn't figure out where they would live long before this!
ReplyDeleteThese two are perfect for each other...I've read things about Hope S. on and off for years indicating she has her own notoriety going on....
ReplyDeleteYou're forgetting how Jerramy raped and sodomized a girl he roofied at a party while he was a player at the University of Washington. The Seattle Times did a nice write up of his criminal timeline.

According to Seattle's KING-TV, Solo and Stevens were married last night.
ReplyDeleteShe'd better make a lot of money playing soccer; she won't be getting endorsements after this, IMHO.
the family that flashes gang signs together, stays together....wait, maybe not.
ReplyDeleteOnly if it's the same gang.
DeleteTake the picture, then see everyone was jumped in with different crews...
Awkward.
Hope Solo and this known POS both attended the University of Washington, that's not a true gang sign, it's a "W". That said, this story makes me ill. Jerramy Stevens is a violent rapist with substance abuse issues.
DeleteThis makes me sad. She is such an amazing soccer player, and someone who could have been a great role model for young girls. If she were not batshit crazy, that is.
ReplyDeleteYup, it's true.
ReplyDeleteFrom the New York Post:
Just hours after Stevens was released the pair got married, according to a tweet by Solo's teammate Jillian Loyden.
"Happy to witness such an amazing celebration of real love," Loyden tweeted early this morning.
Wow, really, what is there left to say.
They have only been together for two months is what I read, this is going to work out well... Ugh
ReplyDeleteWhy are women so stupid?
ReplyDeleteI rarely post, but this guy is dangerous. He really did rape that girl - he lacerated her anus. The University of Washington's legal eagles put up enough of a fuss that the prosecutors didn't want to spend millions trying to put him in jail. I can't believe Hope would want to marry that POS. Here's wishing she gets it annulled quickly.
ReplyDeleteLOL you have to be kidding me! That's really how he spells his name?! That is bogan x10.
ReplyDeleteShe's an idiot. Hope she got a prenup.
