Holly Solomon Takes Voting Very Seriously
If you live in Arizona and you run into Holly Solomon, the first thing you should ask yourself is how she got out of jail. But after that, you really need to make sure you tell her you voted. Holly takes voting very seriously. Last week she told her husband to vote. He decided not to. When he told Holly, she essentially blamed him for Obama winning. Despite her husband pleading that it made no difference and that Obama didn't win Arizona, she got in the family car and proceeded to chase him around a parking lot in the car until she hit him and ran him over. The man had tried to hide behind a light pole but she just kept hitting it until he was pinned. Holly was charged with domestic violence and arrested. Her husband is in critical condition. Oh, and she was not even on drugs or booze.
Another reason never to venture inside the Arizona borders.
ReplyDeleteI guess she won't have to worry about voting again
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling Obama is not this ladies problem
ReplyDeleteBut Obama DID win Arizona.
ReplyDeleteShe drank the Kool-Aid apparently.

ReplyDeleteThis really has nothing to do with politics. The woman clearly has other issues and she's just made Obama the target of her paranoia and rage.
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets help. I saw a news report that she's six months pregnant.
Reminds me of the redneck in Florida that decided to try to kill his girlfriend because she was liberal.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/31/david-kappheim-kill-girlfriend-liberal_n_1846647.html
Oh good god if she's pregnant that kid doesn't stand a chance.
ReplyDeleteEugenics and forced sterilization regardless of sex, race, financial status...just base it on a battery of balanced I.Q. tests...
ReplyDeleteSee what has happened to me living here in AZ? My hippie heart has hardened. I'm willing to go "Final Solution" on the retarded. Which makes ME retarded...it has to be the heat.
And Jan Brewer.
Capt Willard, You are not alone , yesterday I actually mentioned Margaret Sanger .. my hippie heart died.
DeleteI like a woman with passion! Rawr.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved watching Jan Brewers face melt off if Arizona did actually go to Obama.
ReplyDeleteMeh. Crazy people act crazy.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Is it crazy to politicize the acts of crazy people? Isn't it lame and desperate to be exploiting crazy people for partisan purposes when you own the executive branch of the government and 1 1/2 houses of Congress? Also, is it wise for liberals to get into a bidding war on who has crazier constituents? (Try to be honest. Rednecks and assorted other colors of stupid vote in both parties and more often, not at all.) Is this consistent with the notion of setting aside partisan politics and working together to heal the nation? Lastly, and purely objectively, how is screeching at each other (you're crazy, no you're crazy) helpful?
I imagine there were lots of factors in the argument, but the Obama-hating pushed it over the edge. I have cut ties with childhood acquaintances over the election of this president, whose "homosexual athetistic communistic Kenyan Muslim" nature seems to push a lot of crazy buttons on a lot of crazy people.
ReplyDeleteArizona, the Alabama of the West.
ReplyDeleteSilverOnyx, she'd probably assassinate him herself. But I'd pay good money to watch her face melt like the guy in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
ReplyDeleteI didn't vote. CA is and always will be a blue state, that and i'm sick of being called for jury duty every year. Election and proposition SPAM mail is a waste of trees too.
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me these two won't even divorce and it will be back to business as usual.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! Ha!
DeleteAbsolutely! Ha!
DeleteI spent a lot of time in Arizona, and they are so f*cked up, they would indict a ham sandwich if they could.
ReplyDeleteMaricopa County (Sherriff Joe, anyone?) is one of the most corrupt counties in the U.S.
A few weeks ago they arrested a 22-year old and accused him of two rapes; when he had his inital appearance in front of a judge, the judge dismissed those charges because a) the DNA hadn't been tested yet and b) the two victims couldn't identify him in a lineup. So they then charged him with possession of weed; the judge the following day released him and dismissed the charges because he presented a medical marijuana card! Then the DNA testing came back and of course didn't match.
A few days later they charged a 16-year-old for the rape case.
I have a friend (a professional with a very good name in the community) who lives there whose life has been turned upside down by a rogue cop trying to make a name for himself. My friend not only lost his business and had his home destroyed in a search, but now is in the fight of his life to prove that he did nothing wrong. He could end up going to prison because of this cop. They're now trying to unseal the affidavit for the search warrant to prove that the cop lied, as of course they found nothing in his house. My friend's life will never be the same.
@Vicki hahaha exactly! I was hoping for a similar effect when she accidently endorsed Obama at the RNC lol.
ReplyDeleteI keep checking updated vote counts every day regarding Joe. The gaps getting closer but hell still take this election. I can't believe he was voted back in. Crossing my fingers Randy Parraz gets the recall going to get Joes ass out.
She looks like a total mouth breather.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're right, SilverOnyx, but last I checked, it looked like Sherriff Joe won by quite a bit.
ReplyDeleteOne can always hope, right?
@surfer, yeah he definitely won this election, I'm just surprised at how. I mean no one can even claim he's fiscally conservative with him misspending $100 million and who know how many other million in lawsuits. However, his lead is 80000 votes now and there's still 225000 ish left to count in Maricopa county alone and most of these votes are leaning liberal. I'm just interested in what his final percentage will be. I honestly think there's going to be a recall effort tho, but well see what happens, like I said I can't even believe he was reelected to begin w.
ReplyDelete@saffron
ReplyDeleteI was going to say Arizona is the Florida of the west. It's gotta be the heat that turns people's brains to mush in both places.
SilverOnyx - I couldn't agree more. I think one part of the problem is that he raised so much money from out-of-state donors (that's another issue altogether, which should be done away with, IMO).
ReplyDeleteMaricopa County, and in some cases, Joe in particular, have been slammed with lawsuits (people dying in custody) and all sorts of investigations. MC sat on DNA testing for rape investigations, which to this day, still have not been tested. Or the criminal investigations from the Justice Department. How about his immigration sweeps? I could go on and on. Bill SB 1070.
I am so grateful that I live where I do.
I live in PA which hs always swung to blue. There was serious contention for the state to go Republican because of all the regulations Obama will put on coal. We are not "rich white folk"; I live in one of the poorest counties in the state and worked my tail off to achieve what I have academically and professionally (though not where I want to be due to divorce, custody, and caregiving for my brother when he had cancer).
ReplyDeleteAlthough I can now open my own psychological practice hypothetically, I never would at this point.. Why? Because i couldn't afford the insurance for every employee. I more than anyone understand insurnce needs (as I am the only provider for my son, I need to provide him health insurance) but any small business owner starting out simply cannot afford it for each employee. Thus, I probably wouldn't do it, and no job creation in the private sector (government jobs dont count).
Because I am not opposed to same sex marriage and don't think that abortion should be illegal, I would think that people that are strong Democrat (very deep into idealogical beleifs) would want to have control over promoting state rights to legalize same gender marriages and state referendums on things. Instead, having a stromger central government won't make things equal, it will squash initiative of those who have drive and want to work towards something (again, I grew up in poverty with both parents working, never received any government assistance my whole life). Though it seems to be fine with many people, there are many thay will be screaming bloody murder when a Republican is in office with a Republican controlled Senate has that much power.
Well good thing I voted! ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat. a. psycho.
ReplyDelete@mybrothehero, wow! You would have a start up psychological practice with 50 or more employees! That's impressive. How many patients would you (hypothetically) look to be servicing?
ReplyDeletePoor hubby. Like his vote would have mattered. The lady probably has an undiagnosed disorder. Hopefully she gets help.
ReplyDeleteAll I could think of when I read this is ( In an Austin Powers voice) : "It's a MAN, baby!" Homegirl needs a makeover stat.
ReplyDeleteMame Dennis, exactly what I was going to say.
ReplyDelete"Myth # 4. All businesses will be required to provide health insurance to their employees.
The Facts: This is not true. The "shared responsibility" requirements in the Affordable Care Act apply to large employers—those with at least 50 full-time employees. These large employers may have to pay a penalty if they don’t offer coverage to their full-time employees.
Smaller employers will have new opportunities to purchase health insurance for their workers, but they are not required to provide this coverage. Under the Affordable Care Act, businesses with fewer than 25 full-time employees may already qualify for a health care tax credit to help them with the cost of health insurance for their workers. For more information on the small business health care tax credit, see http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=223666,00.html.
Beginning in 2014, small employers will be able to buy health insurance in new marketplaces called exchanges, which will help them join with other small businesses to create larger pools that increase their buying power and reduce administrative costs."

DeleteRe: small business insurance:
ReplyDeleteDue to the area I live in, there are many, many individuals who utilize mental health services o managemental health symptoms as well as to keep their disability claims at status quo. As I am on the border of two counties and have (luckily) been able to be in the field long enough to have established a decent reputation and a good professional network, there are MANY clients that would have an inclination to continue/start receiving mental health assistance.
Also I'm sure Mame's reply was at the very least sarcastic, if you understand how small businesses work you could perhaps teach me (I'm actually not trying to be a smartass). Depending on what branches of the field your practice goes into (such as wraparound services, partial hospitalization, community treatment team, family based, ect) a place can easily add up to over 50 employees if you delve into other treatment areas as above. And if a small business doesn't because of monetary limitations, there's then not a lot of competition on the market, which both insurance companies and service providers can artificially inflate the prices. The result potentially is that the quality of care would decrease due to limited service providers and the one that would get shafted in the end is the client.
Also take into account support staff, implementation of electronic medical systems (mandated in 2013), cost of rent, resources, training, liability insurance, state licensure requirements, ect. I'm not sure if some think the magic number at 50 makes you rich. At this point, one would go deep into debt trying to start a small business like this. If you own a small business and can have suggestions on controlling costs, by all means please feel free to give feedback. For others that read things and take it at face value without trying to attempt to put it into actual practice, get back to me when you can quit being sarcastic and on a high horse.
And kind of telling in my above email the only thing attacked was the small business insurance statement. Guess I'm right on everything else.
Oh, by the way, I didn't vote Romney.
@mybrothehero, You made a statement that employee medical insurance is what is stopping you. Although I can now open my own psychological practice hypothetically, I never would at this point.. Why? Because i couldn't afford the insurance for every employee. No mention of anything else. You said you could, but that's the thing stopping you. No mention of anything else until you got called on your incorrect statement. Own up to it, take personal responsibility for your error, and move on.
ReplyDeleteI have no issue with personal responsibility, in fact, I advocate it! I didn't realize you expected in my first post an analysis of what entails and psychological practice. If that's what I was supposed to do, then I was wrong. Since you obviously aren't aware of what I was talking about entailed, I'm pretty comfprtable staying with my stance.
DeleteI look forward to future interactions with you that are intelligent and witty as it appears that is your self-perception.
Arizona is full of wingnut loonies.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Arizona where that Sherrif was going to run for congress on a hardline republican ticket (tea party backed) and it came out he was gay, had a profile on adam 4 adam, and was dating an illegal immigrent?
ReplyDeleteUnknown, yes ! Hypocrite bigot named "Paul Babeu".
DeleteAnd if she does this to the man she should love above all others can you imagine what she would do to a stranger?
ReplyDeleteAfter last weeks voting post I started to feel like I needed to watch my back. Thank god for the anonymity of the internet. I keed I keed
ReplyDeleteAndy unfortunately I think you're correct. Honestly I've never seen such poison at the same time for botth parties (not name calling but both sides seem to be... bothered). I'm moderate and can understand (reasonable) arguments for both sides of the coin. I'm registered Republican and don't understand why conservatives think they have a mandate to be exclusively ultraconservative nor understand why all women have to vote for Obama or they're dumb. If political offices were as before, they weren't a career, it was a public service obligation one did for their country then resumed their "real life" (Washington returning to farming). When it became career corruption inevitably would folloow because no one wants to lose their position. (I would, of course, never want to resume slavery or women's inequality.)
DeleteI just wish the majority of individuals could identify strengths between each other and build on that instead of pointing fingers. Yea, I guess I'm an idealist.
But really hope that woman gets put away for a long time. Course, in my lil corner of PA people'll run you over with quads for stealing their Oxycontins so it's not entirely shocking.
In other words, you can't admit that you were wrong.
ReplyDeleteIn other words, I am right.

ReplyDelete@mybrothehero, just wanted to let you know that I understood you were writing about all the insurance issues, & I am Australian. I work in a small business & do the accounts, I would NEVER start a small business. Here we have public liability & workers compensation insurance, compulsory superannuation that employers must pay, BAS statements which seem to be just an endless money pit of paying the government each month including the GST (goods and services tax). This is all before any paperwork. I have set up 3 OH&S folders, but the guys are useless at doing them. We had a workers compensation claim from an employee where I let the insurance company know he was rorting the system and nothing got done about it. It is horrendous. Good luck with whatever you decide to do career wise.
ReplyDeleteThanks, feral. The submit to payors alone takes sooooo much time and effort that i couldn't possibly do it myself. So many OBGYNS left PA when malpractice insurance went through the roof. Truly gifted practitioners that were just choked with so many costs it didn't take the effort to even try to stay even. Though not everything you said is required in the US, as you know, it's a headache even before you open doors, then pray for a no-to-low turnover rate because of worker's comp. There is always the option of partnerships, bit then your fate is intertwines with someone else and that is never a comfortable position to be in. I hope all is well for you and that you will keep ahead of any cuts in the future in downsizing.
DeleteThe looming fiscal cliff alone is a good enough reason to not start any new business. The healthcare reform will have negative impact on all types of businesses.Nobody's kidding themselves, those figures listed above are BS figures from a political group that is associated with Soros ""non profit"" groups. They appeal to sheeple. Going to be a rough 2013 .
DeleteSo, educate us then. You blamed healthcare reform on your inability to start your business. So explain to us how. You put it out there, you were questioned, not explain your statement. Although I can now open my own psychological practice hypothetically, I never would at this point.. Why? Because i couldn't afford the insurance for every employee.
ReplyDeleteOr are you saying your startup, small, private medical practice would have more than 50 employees? Unlike the average start-up private practice that only averages 2 office staff to every medical professional?
@Mame, no joke, if you'd just back away from this post for 24 hours and come back to it tomorrow you'd realize you are way overreacting to someone else's personal perspective and grasp of her field (not yours) as well as how this currently evolving situation will impact her. But you are so very invested in making her look or sound foolish that you are coming off as in need of some of those services yourself.
DeleteIf looking at it like that doesn't make you calm down and be less controlling, please remember that you are reading about a woman who drove over her own husband because he was....a free thinker.
@feraltart, mybrothehero mentioned specifically mandated "employee" insurance and calls it "health" insurance and mentioned no other sort of insurance.
ReplyDeleteThose other sorts of insurance aren't really an issue of Federal Government politics, but State Government rules. State Government is what mybrothehero is supporting. So.... yeah.
Mame Dennis, did you come here to pick a fight? Please give it a rest.
ReplyDelete@Chilie, curious, why didn't you tell mybrothehero to give it a rest? She's replied to my comments and others.
ReplyDelete@Mame--YOU should give it a rest because SHE is not trying to bully or shane you into changing your mind, admitting you are wrong or losing this ridiculous argument. You are trying very hard to win an argument on a CDAN blog with someone who is not even fighting you. You look foolish and very, very angry for no reason.
DeleteAs someone who was an office manager for a large medical practice in PA over the previous two decades, I can tell this young woman that national healthcare reform is not what is stopping her from opening up her own practice. There are many, many obstacles, but healthcare reform is not one of them.
ReplyDeleteWow. I mean .. I am passionate about politics .. but .. wow. Really, lady?
ReplyDeleteThere is a time to let this crap go and that is usually as you are about to run over your husband and - one assumes - father of your unborn child with the Family Truckster.
Here is hoping .. for all parties involved .. she is mentally ill. I would hate like hell to think a "rational" person did this. But then again .. I hate to think "rational" people were wantonly wishing the President ill the night of the election.
Bath salts .. I chose to blame bath salts for all the crazy incivility.
OMG and now the GOP is suing to stop votes from being counted in southern AZ because the democrat is winning. You are not helping yourselves guys.
ReplyDelete@mame dennis IMO you did not come off rude. U were simply on an opposing side of a divisive issue. Since no one person OWNS the internet. You should feel free to post further opinions. I'm sure Enty appreciates increased activity here. I am a complete "know nothing" when I comes to this issue, but I enjoyed the conversation between u. Whilst trying to learn something it is good to listen to more than one opinion. :-)
ReplyDelete@fancyscreenname I agree with you. Rude is telling someone what they can or cannot do, missypoppypants.
ReplyDeleteI saw someone be challenged on a statement - a dangerous invalid statement - and then continue to argue - yes she argued back with Mame, misspoppypants - that she was right, rather than say "Yes I said that, but I should've said other factors too."
If you can't support your statements, don't be angry when someone questions you on them.
Owen, Mame ratcheted the fever up on a discussion and took aim at someone who later stood up for herself. You are telling her what she should have said now why calling me rude for accusing me of doing so. Silly, silly. No one owes anyone an apology for expressing their ideas or feelings on here and so yes Mame seems disturbed for going on the attack on a gossip blog because someone misspoke at the very worst. Im not sure what you want from me, but Im not in need of your validation. I hope you both can find blogs on which you can correct others for speaking while shaming them at the same time. If you are saying that's not what Mame's letter conveyed, you suffer from reading comprehension problems. You have certainly misinterpreted mine effortlessly. Silly.
DeleteThis is one of the faces of Romney's supporter. Insane. Sober. low IQ.
ReplyDeleteWhat I see are your comments are accusing people of doing what you are doing yourself.
ReplyDeleteI never TOLD her what she should've said. I gave my perception of the situation. Just like you are giving yours? Why do you have that right, yet I don't?
And you seem to ignore that neither Mame nor I used attacking words. Nor demanded an apology. Nor accused you of needing our validation. However, you've made personal attacks. On a gossip site. Just for someone who, at the very worst, was asking someone to clarify their statements.
@misspoppypants, thanks for agreeing with me that mybrothehero misspoke! I appreciate the backup. :)

ReplyDeleteSince six chick deleted her message or had it deleted for her, I'll still respond to her accusing me of being a troll or a new poster here. I've been posting since 2007, not regularly, but I've been here quite a while.
ReplyDelete"mybrother never hurts anybody, you attacked her over and over for what?"
mybrothehero has also had disagreements here in the past. I seem to recall something about complaining about teachers being paid too much that sparked a very heated debate (one that I was not involved in). But that's neither here nor there. We all have had these sorts of discussions. I'm not sure why everyone seems to be so upset about this one. I did not attack her or anyone and I did not insult her or her mental state or credentials.
If someone wants to rant about their political beliefs on the internet, they need to be prepared to get into a heated discussion about it.
I agree with everything that mame Dennis just posted.
ReplyDeleteSome of u broads needto chill. Stop being mean girls. It's unbecoming of a female above the age of 17.
i swear i didnt delete i feel free to repost, i stand by every fucking word, the void ate it, so in the void it lurks like you must Mame I read here constantly i dont remember you or your witty troll buddies at all. to the sensitive cunts i am an hyper emotional type, but it takes all types so welcome to zero filter 100% how i see it. dont like it fuck off and read the next comment i dont give a fuck
ReplyDeleteGo to sleep kunt. U r not intimidating anyone.
ReplyDeleteWell, since you've only been here for a month, you've probably missed my comments.
ReplyDeleteJust a suggestion, since you seem upset by my newness, you can google it and you'll find my comments going back a few years.
You can take your own advice and skip my comments, if you'd like. I'll continue to read yours. They're amusing and especially ironic in the subject matter of this post.
This all shows the growing epidemic in society. Say something as a fact then when someone points out that your 'fact' is inaccurate go into attack mode, accusing the person who pointed out your error that they were "attacking you", usually for "your opinion". Facts and opinions are different things. Saying "The sky is purple" is stating that as a fact and is incorrect. Saying "I think the sky would be prettier if it was purple" is an opinion.
ReplyDeleteWe've become a people who throw around harmful statements that create and feed an environment of fear and ignorance. We celebrate ignorance and put a stamp on it as 'opinions'. We defend the ignorant and attack those trying to point out the barrage of incorrect facts that the world is swamped in. We scream that only the ignorant have a 'right' to speak their opinions, but anyone disagreeing with them isn't afforded the same right in the court of public opinion. IMHO, more people need to point out when someone is spouting nonsensical statements to support their opinions.
stay out of it kitty wasnt talking to you stupid bitch you cant even be original just tag along you are the mean girl look in the mirror
