If you have not seen Kate McKinnon's portrayal of Ellen on Saturday Night Live, it is hilarious. On her show this week, Ellen decided to break down the impersonation and discuss.
Hahaha!!! Yes, she seemed a bit pissed off, it's hard to tell with her though. I'm in Canada, just looked it up on Youtube, it's there now, maybe wasn't earlier....
Yeah, I think she is trying to sound like she's cool with it, but I can kinda tell she's a little peeved.
Kate McKinnon s/b promoted to regular cast member, along with Cecily Strong, who plays the audience member in this skit and has a bunch of other characters that are "awesome."
Is it just me or did she seem peeved and tried to play it off like she was amused?
ReplyDeleteThis was my favorite skit of the night. @ bloghopper doesn't ellen always tend to look peeved but happy.
ReplyDeleteI have always had the feeling that Ellen wants you to really, really like her, and she will be really, really pissed if you don't.
ReplyDeleteI love Kate McKinnon, she took her big break Lorne gave her and is running with it, she will be the next break out SNL star I hope.
ReplyDeletenot available to your Canadian readers.
ReplyDeleteNothing from Hulu ever is! They suck, but at least we have YouTube!

ReplyDelete@blog hopper - no, it isn't just you. There are rumors that Ellen is not so funny or nice when the camera's are off.
ReplyDeleteI like this Kate McKinnon - she's good. It seems that she might be Lorne's new favorite after Kristen Wiig left because she's in so many sketches.
That is the worst accent I've ever heard.
