Colts Cheerleaders Shave Heads To Raise Money

Most of the time in this space, I put some comedy, but today I thought I would post a video of two Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders who got their heads shaved after the mascot raised $22,000 for leukemia research,. The head coach of the Colts has leukemia and has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments.

  1. Great job ladies! Hair is replaceable but you may only get one chance to help change someone else's life.

  8. that's very nice but $22k? Seems like a small amount for a team filled with millionaires.

  10. i saw this during the game. Those women showed a lot of class to shave their heads live on national tv. That speaks volumes to how respected Coach Pagano is. He was at the game in the owner's box. When he first got diagnosed, he couldnt leave the hospital for weeks while he underwent his treatment. It is just wonderful that the Colts are doing so well and the community has embraced the Coach during such a trying time. Stay strong Coach. you will beat it!!

  11. Watched it live too, at a sports bar filled with rowdy guys, who became strangely quiet and respectful while they watched....no snarkiness, just comments about how beautiful both women are, it was very cool

  12. I'm from Indy, so proud of these girls! I was watching from a brewery in Brown county, I couldn't believe how brave these girls are. Very touching.
