Angus Jones Says Don't Watch Two And A Half Men

It is quite possible that Two And A Half Men might be the most dysfunctional sitcom ever. If you thought that when Charlie Sheen got kicked off the show for his rants, things would be better, you obviously didn't know that the $350K earning per episode actor Angus Jones would soon follow in Charlie's drunken footsteps. In a YouTube post, Angus talks about his Christian beliefs and how the show is filth and should not be watched and that he is doing his best to get off the show, but meanwhile, will keep cashing those checks. You know, the checks he has been receiving for years and has earned about $20M total during his run in the show. It is a lot easier to tell people something is garbage after you have made $20M making it. It is not like they are going to make you give it back. If you hate the show so much, then give every dime you have made from the "filth" and give it to charity. Until then, shut it.

  2. What a little douchebag.

  3. And we have our latest entry in the child star, adult screw-up list.

Hasn't his mother come out to say he's under the influence of some very unsavoury people?

  4. Can't wait for the network's response.

This is bizarre! I'll be surprised if he works again.

  5. Yeah, give the money to some Christian ministry then fool.

  6. I'll give him points for at least having a moral compass, despite being exposed to Sheen's activities and the show's general premise. And why shouldn't he cash the checks? He does the work, doesn't he? And how old is he, 18? 20? If this is the dumbest thing he ever does, it's not too bad. And let's face it, the show is pretty filthy. Sounds like typical dumb young stuff to me (and at least he's not doing drugs)

    1. Moral compass? Please. Sorry Susan, but that's a laugh. If he gives even a small percentage of his earnings, then maybe. Until then, he's another brainwashed twat.

  7. we might have another kirk cameron on our hands...this isn't the first time angus has said something negative about 2 and a half men, so i hope he's not being brainwashed to give all his hard earned money to his church or being influenced by people around him, with the wrong intentions...

  8. Miley recently guest starred on the show, as Angus' character's love interest. He had to make out with Miley. No surprise he has now lost his damn mind.

  9. I think people should have some spirituality, it's good for the soul. But when you start shoving your beliefs down others throats and using them to spread hate, then you need to shut the f*€£ up and move along. And he might not have personally said anything, but watch the past videos of his friend in the video, they are riddiculous. Honestly, he should be on his hands and knees thanking the network who produces his "filth". He could do missionary work the rest of his life on the money they've given him.

    Where's Shelly?

    Where's Angus?

  11. Just shows you how profitable a hit show can be. $350K/episode is what Tina Fey supposedly makes for creating, writing and starring in 30 Rock.

It's probably more of him being tired of the show. In which case, he could leave after his contract expires. But keep in mind that he was a child when he first went on the show. His parents decided for him. He's reaching a point where he's old enough to make his own choices. Perhaps he's misguided in his feelings. Compared to other child stars, however, this isn't so bad.

And no, I don't think he should have to give away his money.

I went to look at more articles about this and wow! I didn't realize that his religious views were tied to a cult-like group. I thought it was the Seventh Day Adventist Church. This is worrisome. The guy could be getting brainwashed.

  19. Okay, all he says in this video is that the show is garbage and the devil works through all forms. I think it's a little strange how we as a society automatically think that he's in a brainwashing cult because he's showing religious beliefs. Christian =/= brainwashed or evil.

That said, he's pretty hypocritical to look down his nose at the gravy train he's still riding on.

  21. In all fairness, the kid did breathe in Charlie's fumes for 10 years.

  22. Voice of Prophecy is the connection: http://www.vop.com/

    From their "Vision Builders" definition:
"VisionBuilders are committed to uniting in prayer and ........
prayerful financial support......... to proclaim His gospel worldwide."

Cult. There are many other paths to God, Angus.

Christianity is not my concern here. This ForeRunner group is saying Obama = Hitler. That's not normal and Christianity has nothing to do with it.

  24. Is there the possibility this video is a hoax since the ratings aren't what they used to be? Charlie's gone, Ashton's not in the drama spotlight, Miley was a blip on the radar...what else do they have to promote/talk about on this show?!?! Ratings ploy?!

  25. If this kid has such a moral issue with this show, he should walk off. It's quite hypocritical to take money for something he says is so morally reprehensible. He'd better save every penny he can, though, because I doubt he'll be making much more in the future.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Thanks for the links, Agent. I find it very telling that vop.com doesn't give you any summary or explanation of what beliefs this group professes, but I very easily found a link to a page explaining that the minimum donation is $1000, and that many are impressed to give much more. Huh.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wait, I thought Ashton and this kid were the popular guesses for the blind item about the new star on the show that was hooking up the teenager-ish co-star with drugs and hookers?

In any case, this is weird.

  28. *I'm at a friend's house, Yay for an F key*

    Wtf is 'prayerful financial support'?!

Yeah, keep taking the money, honey.

I'm an atheist; I have no prooblem with people being spiritual...whatever gets you through.

  29. I feel bad for him - he's at a vulnerable time in his life and the vultures are circling, hoping to part him from his gigantic pile of cash.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Staple - maybe it was Angus and Ashton, then Angus crashed hard and found this group in an attempt to redeem/purify himself?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow, I thought it was the Seventh Day Adventist Church too-not some cult. Yeesh.....but he's right, the show is trash. He should have quietly asked to be let go after his contract was up and kept his mouth shut.

  33. My favorite part is when Angus starts asking people to stop watching the show and the other guy starts to get nervous and antsy. I'm sure he doesn't want those paychecks to stop, just as much as this kid's family doesn't want them to stop.

    ReplyDelete
  34. 2 and a half men is a crap show. But it made this kid rich. Didn't he sign on to do another season? Don't just start talking a bunch of crap. I hope he really changes his life to reflect all the whatever is coming out of his mouth. But already making the most common mistake, living one way by still being on this show and talking against your own actions.

This is going to be unpopular but this is my beef with the intensely religious groups, they try so hard to brainwash people and really push the drama that "they're way is the DEVIL, and OUR way is the Lord" This kid really bought someone's shtick hook line and sinker. He's been brainwashed. let's all just accept each other's way and stop saying that you're wrong, I'm right, if you're not with me then you're against Jesus, for the big D, etc. He's royally fucked up with this one. Will he ever work again?

  36. Next stop will be The Today Show where he will call Matt Lauer glib.

  37. Some people drink. Some do drugs. He has found his drug- religion. I think he is brainwashed. All because he went out with a girll and almost was tempted by the devil. In other words, he wanted to get laid. Hey! Angus! Its called normal!!!!! You're okay! Have religion, fine, but dont let it skew ur view of life. And dont give them any f*cking money!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. This kid is a easily manipulated self-important moron. I hope that they write his character off and offer to end his contract immediately with no further financial payouts.

I know it won't happen, but a girl can dream.

    ReplyDelete
  39. @silly girl, please educate yourself. The ratings for TAHM are BETTER,last season and this, than they were the last few years that Charlie was on it. No extra publicity is needed for that show! And clearly, Angus is being brainwashed by a cult. I wish him luck; he's going to need it. Oh, BTW, he signed his last contract on his own because he turned 18. So his parents may have decided he'd be on the show initially, but he made his own choice this go-round.

  40. It should be easy to wash yourself of that filth dude. Give all your money to Joel Osteen or something.

    What a whacko!

  41. when it comes to this shit show with ZERO plot, it's all just Walden wandering around the house over some girl, Jake popping in and out to fuck Miley and whatshisnuts Cryer moaning about the same shit since season 1. Sprinkle in a few pot and blow job jokes...voila.

    I'll stay ignorant.

  42. Good grief, we're always slamming kids for doing drugs, and here's a kid that's trying to do what he feels is right. Why can't we be happy, he's not out there trashing places, doing drugs, stealing.clubbing.etc.. (trying to remember all the things Lindsey has done) Lets be happy for him. Let him grow as adult, hopefully in a healthy way. He's right, the show is trash. .....He worked hard for his money, let him have it. It wasn't his choice to go into television, he was too young to understand it all. But now, when his contract is up, he wants out...just let him be.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous10:29 AM

I think that show is pure trash too, but this kid comes off sounding like a nut case on drugs. If he had made his case in a more coherent, logical way, people might have taken him seriously. Anyway, didn't he just get fired? No more $350,000 paychecks per episode coming in. The next Kirk Cameron.

  44. The show IS grossly perverted.

Good for him. Money isn't everything.

  47. Anonymous11:31 AM

He started the show before he had the choice or moral consciousness to decide for himself. I have no idea what his contract is like, but there's a good chance he's trying to get piss people off enough to get out of it. I don't know anything about his church or anything else, so purely speculation here.

    ReplyDelete
  48. TMZ is saying he was a pretty heavy drug user, dropping acid in high school ect. but now he's "found" god.

    ReplyDelete
  49. @Cee Kay, no need to be overtly snarky. It's an honest question.

    ReplyDelete
  50. @Halle - Joel Osteen doesn't need Angus's money. What does Joel pull in? 30-40 million a year? Of course I'm sure if it WAS offered to him, he'd take it.

As for Angus, well he's only on for 30 seconds each episode now at the most. If he wants to leave, let him leave. But then the title of the show would make no sense. But nothing on that show ever did make sense in the first place. Why would they begin now?

Here is an article about Angus's religious "mentor":

  52. Well at least all you can't whine about racism because the minister is a black guy. That's refreshing! Also, you think Christianity, even a weirdo cult would be WORSE and more damaging than anything this kid has seen in Hollywood? It's A-OK for his stellar parents to pimp him out for $$ as a little kid and expose him to Charlie fucking Sheen but better draw the line at him joining a CHURCH! Better clutch those pearls tighter! Oh the outrage, he's obviously brainwashed!

  54. I actually think Angus' journey will be fascinating to follow on the internet. This might make a good 'student' project for school.

  55. What an asshat. He's worth 20 million because of "filth". He should start giving away his checks to charity, rather than profiting from the show. Ya know, for people without money. Those who can't afford food, let alone a computer and internet, where they can broadcast how awful their high paying job is. Entitled little asshole. Okay, I am done.

  56. Slightly OT: Do you guys remember that movie "Angus"? We used to have to watch that in high school choir all the time. It featured the Sherman-ator from American Pie and that girl from Jurassic Park.
