Alec Baldwin's Stalker Arrested Again
I used to think that Genevieve Sabourin was a woman scorned. I still think she is that and definitely had sex with Alec at least once, no matter how much he might tell his wife otherwise, but I also think she needs some help because she has been arrested again after violating an order to stay away from Alec Baldwin and his wife. Apparently Alec's wife called 911 and reported that Genevieve was stalking her and Genevieve has been talking about how she is going to take yoga classes from Alec's wife. It is all kind of getting a little scary. Genevieve was actually in court yesterday because her attorney got permission to quit the case because he was not getting paid and as soon as she left the courtroom, she was arrested for violating the order of protection.
She is very persistent. Maybe she should look into a career as a telemarketer.
ReplyDeleteMan, she looks a little like my former stalker. Hopefully former.
ReplyDelete@B. Profane - On some level, is it kind of flattering to have a stalker? At first, anyway? It's like a super fan! (I'm half-kidding.)
ReplyDeleteI dont know about B, but it isn't. I'm an ordinary person, the nut who messed with me made me afraid to walk out my door for years without being armed. It took me moving to another state to get away.
DeleteWow B. Profane you had a stalker - I definitely want to hang with you:)
ReplyDeleteSuper creepy!!!
ReplyDeleteIt was kind of flattering having a stalker...at first.
ReplyDeleteBeing stalked is the worst---and I'm lucky, my stalkers have just been mopey & weepy, not violent. Other than the weepy guys who constantly call, visit unannounced, and/or 'magically' run into you whilst moping, the worst I suffered were prank phone calls from one guy, which were only creepy in that they came after dark. This was in answering-machine days. (I'm an old-timer!)
ReplyDeleteYeah, she's got some support beams down. Get help!
ReplyDeleteI had a stalker years ago, who worked for me several times on set, as a make-up artist. After a random act of kindness on my part, she took that as my being interested in her (even though I had a long term partner, that everyone was aware of). She began showing up at random times/places, with gifts and telling my friends that I'd "saved her life" (which was not true). After making a conscious decision to not hire her again, and rebuffing her advances nicely, things amped up. She threatened to sue me for sexual harassment, left hundreds of delusional messages and texts on my mobile phone, and would magically 'pop-up' at the studio, until I made security aware of what was happening. Nothing worked, until I took out a restraining order, and sent a letter of intention from my attorney. I'm thankful it's over, and wouldn't wish it on anyone, no matter how much of an ass they are...
ReplyDelete@B. Profane... You can't leave us hanging like that, details?
ReplyDeleteMine wasn't that bad. I was her first and apparently I made quite an impression. She would track me down years later, through multiple moves and phone numbers. Nothing worse than phone calls though, and never threatening.
ReplyDeleteI feel so forever alone... I never had a stalker, lol
ReplyDelete@malibubarbi - those makeup artist types can be nuts! I was one for a couple of years so I kid.. Seriously you're lucky she stopped with the order! I'm glad it worked out.
ReplyDeleteMy ex husband still stalks me and it sucks. He's smart enough to not leave any directly threatening messages anymore and he's toned it down over the last year or two but for a time I was very afraid for my life. He's still always somehow there.. Lurking .. I've never fully let down my guard :(
I had a creeper in HS. We both worked at a coffee shop. I was 16, he was 27. He took my number off the mgr's list and would call and text me all the time. When i worked the closing shift, he'd be waiting in his car for me in the parking lot afterward, because I walked home. Obviously no one would let me walk home alone anymore when that started happening. He was telling people that I was moving to Cali with him and we were starting a band. What a weirdo! I can't remember his name, but I remember that he wore one of those claw holding a marble necklaces.
ReplyDeleteThat's one stylish stalker.
ReplyDeleteOops. I said text and I meant page. Yup - I had a PAGER. Do HS kids even know what pagers are now?
ReplyDeleteWhen I was 19, I dated a childhood friend for a while. We broke up, he ended up in jail (attempted manslaughter - nothing to do with me, but it made me even more glad I'd ended it) and for the next three years, he sent me these long, endless, sometimes frightening love letters from prison. He mailed them to the office I was working at, then when I moved two hours away, he somehow got my address again and kept sending them.
ReplyDeleteI sent one response after I started dating my now-hubby...it was polite, but basically an "I've moved on, you should, too" letter. But his letters didn't stop until he got out of prison.
He recently found me on Facebook, and sent me this long message about "what could have been"...so creepy. I've been with the hubs for 10 years, I can't believe this guy STILL thinks about me. :/
I've had two stalkers in my life. One stalked me from junior high all the way until we were in our early 20s. He wasn't violent toward me or anything, he just would constantly prank call. The calls would taper off a bit and then I'd run into him at the mall or something and then they'd start right back up. Then when we were 18/19, I was coincidentally the bartender for his wedding (!) and after I got home around 1:30am I got a prank phone call. Yeah, on his wedding day. All class.
ReplyDeleteMy other stalker was when I was in college, he was quite a bit older than me and we worked together. He was much more creepy ... I made the mistake of accepting a ride home from him one night after the office closed. That was what triggered the stalking and, since he had driven me home, he knew where I lived. He would show up 10 minutes or so before the office closed when I was the only one there and offer to drive me home. He did lots of other creepy things like come to the office when I was working and spend 45 minutes in the bathroom, a few times I saw him walking past my apartment, and he would often ask inappropriate sexual questions. I eventually told my boss and he put a stop to it.
Sorry, hit return too soon ...
ReplyDeleteI find it kind of odd that Enty assumes something happened between Alec & this woman and not that she is simply batshit crazy. Is it because she's a woman? Or because she's attractive and not "crazy-looking"?

ReplyDeleteAlicia, I 'helped her to help herself', and think that that had quite a bit to do with the crazy at that point. I've heard through the grapevine, that she's doing well and has changed quite a bit...so, I'm happy for her. What end of the biz are you in? I'm fashion, commercials and music videos - and love my kooky hair and m/u peeps ;)
Genevieve is attractive and well dressed and groomed for being as nutty as a fruitcake. I had a stalker in graduate school; he was also attractive, well presented and extremely bright. He had been stalking me for a long time without me even knowing about it. When I did find out, it was on a date with him. He told me he had seen me in January and started following me around, and in May he introduced himself to me in a public place and asked me out. It was on the date he gave me a letter he had written to me, telling me all about the stalking. He was leaving for a new job as a cancer researcher (he had just gotten a Ph.D in microbiology), so I had to spend only about a month trying to dodge him. Neither the city nor university police would help out as he hadn't threatened me or ever assaulted me. Just knowing there is someone out there who has an obsession with you is very unnerving. I've often wondered if there were a lot of others he did this to.
ReplyDeleteShe looks like the "If Celebs Were Real People"-version of Julie Bowen (or the "What Julie Bowen Would Look Like If She Ate Dinner"-version of Julie Bowen). She's an attractive gal.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure plenty of guys wouldn't mind being stalked by her. I'd imagine it's a lot less scary for a guy being stalked by a woman than vice-versa. The guy could use the obsession to get laid. A woman could never do that...they could wind up in the guy's freezer.
I think plenty of men would be worried about being stalked by a woman. Remember David Letterman's stalker? She followed him around for years, believed she was married to him and even managed to live in one of his homes for several months before being caught. She ended up committing suicide (she was hit by a train). Extremely sad situation, but stalkers have mental health problems, and no matter who they are or what they look like, their behavior puts their person of obsession at risk. Alec probably has very good reason to be concerned about Genevieve.
ReplyDeleteI had a stalker. Full blown, scary! I wish it were annoying like getting texts and calls, but he was beyond creeper.
ReplyDeleteHe is the son of a local pastor and is now in a psychiatric prison. Anyway, when I was a freshman in college and he was 25 our parents were social so that's how we met. Soon after he started just calling to talk. I did not want to, and my dad told him our age difference wasn't appropriate. Soon he was everywhere I went. He went to all my games, sent me flowers, tried giving me rides...again my dad spoke with him and his parents. He just got sneakier. Left flowers on my car, would be sitting in the parking lot at work my entire shift. Then the crazy notes started. Notes about our love, our future, our kids, etc. notes outlining and detailing my daily activities. Notes about my boyfriend. Soon they turned graphic and sexual. Our parents were still trying to work it out privately because stalker had some issues. Really?!? And previously the police said their hands were tied. None of that was illegal.
He enrolled in my school and while he didn't have any of my classes he was always THERE.
The flowers and sexy notes...then lingerie started coming. The college said he was doing nothing illegal or even harassing me. He even claimed I was his gf and was just upset with him.
Finally one night I got into my car and he was in the back seat. Idk how he got in. He told me we were going away. I refused and tried to open the door, but he had climbed in front and wouldn't let me get out. He grabbed me in a huge bear hug so I couldn't move my arms. I was terrified and screamed and tried to get away. The entire time he was so calm and matter of fact. Whispering he loved me, was going to take care of me, shhh shhh, don't be afraid. I just started to cry, which upset him. He got mad. I thought for sure he was going to kill or rape me then. But then he just stopped and looked at me funny and said...you weren't supposed to cry. I am tired of doing all this to keep you happy and you don't appreciate me. Then he got out and left. I never saw him again.
He robbed a gas station the next week and was already in legal trouble so he eventually went to jail. He was diagnosed.as schizophrenic and after getting out of jail he stole car and kidnapped his cousin. So like I said...he's in a federal prison that specializes in psychiatric disorders or something.
Sorry so long!
DeleteWow. I am so glad you were lucky he was a "rational" stalker? That could have been terrible!! That sounds scarier than anything that has ever happened to me
DeleteAny guy who has seen Fatal Attraction is afraid of being stalked. For example: "That chick is still calling you? Didn't you dump her like six months ago? You better be careful, she could be a bunny boiler."
ReplyDeletegoes in circles. - that story was scary. Glad it ended well considering what could have happened to you.
ReplyDeleteI kind of take stalking episodes in two ways: yes there are those who are truly stalked by nuts, but those are pretty few and far between. They other group of people are probably being pursued by rejected exes or socially awkward people.
ReplyDeleteI think the term "stalker" is thrown around WAY too much these days.
Whenever I meet someone who has a "stalker ex" or a "crazy ex," I become suspicious. If you watch them long enough, you see they are generally drama queens/kings who get off on the attention. They either string the other party along OR they misconstrue interest.
I know lots of people who "google" people to see what they are up to. Is that stalking? Hey what about all the people pursuing Enty's true identity? Is that "stalking?" People have lots of obsessions.
Even psychiatrists and psychologists have noticed the term "stalker" has become over used and misused. A lot like sociopaths, which are also quite rare.
Let me add my name to the chorus of people who say being stalked is definitely not flattering. I was stalked starting about 17 years ago, and haven't spoken to, much less seen the guy in 15 years, I still get messages from him on Facebook, LinkedIn, and personal e-mail (it's amazing how much is out there on the Internet). Freaks me out every time I hear from him, and I live on the other side of the country.
ReplyDeleteI had a stalker. he was the super of my building. I would see him watching me from my window. I did some digging and found out that he was a convicted felon and had spent time in max. security prison for assault w/intent to kill.
ReplyDeleteI had gotten suspicious also because I would come home and things would be in different places. it turns out that he was coming in (as the super he had a key) and was using my computer when I was away. and I'm sure he looked through all of my stuff etc.
I fled and didn't leave a forwarding address.
people who haven't experienced it don't understand how frightening it is and how badly it messes with your head. the tendency is to blame oneself for being too nice, or whatever.
but, the latest thinking on the psychology of the stalker is that they have attachment disorder. they become attached to the stalkee.
this woman is seriously sick and I feel for both alec b. and his wife. creeeeepy.
I just find it hard to believe anyone would want to stalk Alec Baldwin. He has not aged well. :/
ReplyDeleteI was stalked, dude was my ex who I put out of my house. When he was escorted out by the sheriffs he was allowed access to my things without anyone being there and he stole several items and also shit on my rug. He began driving by my place constantly at all hours and filing lawsuits against me. Eventually I had to go through a trial and pay lawyers to represent me. On the morning of the trial he slashed my tires. I still made it to court, won the case and finally got rid of him.. never heard from him since. A life experience..
