Antoine Ashley, better known as Sahara Davenport on RuPaul's Drag Race, has died. He was 27. In addition to his role on Drag Race, Ashley also appeared in 15 Films About Madonna, Magnificent Obsessions, One Life to Live and released a single, "Go Off," which later reached no. 35 on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

ReplyDeleteI am still so sad about Sahara dying! My heart is broken for her family and for Manila especially! Sahara was just too young to go :( Thanks for covering this Enty, as the drag community is heartbroken with this news, so it is nice to see non-drag media covering it. RIP Sahara!
