Is it just me or has Jennifer Garner been looking amazing lately? She was at the premiere of
Ben Affleck's new movie.
Also there were John Goodman and
Bryan Cranston.

This photo of Katie Holmes was snapped the other day, but she is so rarely photographed not wearing jeans that I thought I would post it.
I'm one degree from the Argo premier. A friend of mine went because his partner (now deceased) is portrayed in the film as a 10 year old. Ben Affleck plays his dad.

ReplyDeleteNow I feel awful for having said that, but she could have looked so much better styled in a pleated skirt that fell below just below knee level.
She's slim, has a small waist and hips, and the pleats would have worked and showed her fine-looking calves in this outfit.
And she's the one designing a fashion line? Fail... Bad outfit/styling. We all have body parts that we need to hide or flaunt.

ReplyDeleteI think just seeing Jennifer Garner not wearing frumpy house clothes shocks people into falsely believing she looks amazing. Her face looks good but the dress is terribly fit!
ReplyDeleteIt could be the angle, or the tights, but Katie's legs looks huge. She has worn dresses showing her legs, and I'd say she has a great pair. Just an unflattering picture. Also, I love Jennifer Garner. I think she is gorgeous, and seems to adore her children, which makes me love her more.
ReplyDelete@Ingrid...yes, you're right about Goodman. It was after he had some major heart issues. Although he's still a big guy, he's slimmed down and is taking better care of himself. I just love John Goodman. :)

ReplyDeletemid stride, my ass. There are many pics of Katie's legs looking BAD. She and Mischa Barton have BAD LEGS. I'd gladly put mine up against Katie's any day, and no way would she make me look heinous. I think Katie is a very pretty lady, but I am in no way going to look ugly next to her.

ReplyDeleteYeah, really not seeing the problem with Katie's legs. Are they the slenderist legs I've ever seen? No. Does that mean she should hide them in pants for the rest of her life? Absolutely not.
ReplyDeleteAlso, those are not cankles. (I really hate that term.) I'm pretty sure a cankle is when there's no clear difference between your calves and ankles - it's just straight up and down.
Solus, Jennifer uses the services of famed celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe. When she is looking just like you & me, it is a fashion statement, carefully crafted. Must agree on Katie's legs- I'd cover those up with pants most of the time too. No - they aren't huge, but compared to the rest of her , they're disproportionately large.
