ReplyDeleteJanuary Jones has suddenly become super friendly in her pictures. Far cry from her pics where she is scowling and alone.

My god, look at how emaciated Zoe is, hard to believe she had a successful pregnancy. Thank god it's a boy so she doesn't inflict her skinny neurosis on a girl.

It is hard to believe that Gwen S. And Jen A. Are the same age. Gwen looks fresh, young, hip and amazingly beautiful. Jen, on the other hand, looks dated, matronly, stale and blah. Gwen is a shining star!

ReplyDeleteIs a U.S. Vogue cover better than an Italian/French etc.. I was under the impression that the foreign ones would be the ones you would want to be on - because of all the fashion that comes out of those countries? Eh, what do I know - I buy Ann Taylor and think it is pretty special.......
ReplyDeleteRoman: I lurve Ann Taylor too because it fits so well and wears for so long. I can only afford the sale rack though. And I would think that any Vogue would do.

ReplyDeleteIsla is just the cutest and tiniest thing on the planet. look how she doesn't even fill out that small chair. half of my thigh on each side would be hanging over the side. I don't even think the skeleton of myself would fit in that chair without spilling over the sides.

Elisabeth Moss looks so pretty. She is so much prettier in "real life" than on the show. But every time I see her I can't help but think of Scientology. and how she divorced that hilarious guy in Portlandia and I wonder if it had to do with CO$.

I like Elizabeth's skirt, but the top looks like she forgot to put on a shirt in 1800's. Doesn't look dressy, just looks like fancy undies.

Wasn't JJ the favourite for a blind about an actress wanting female friends to connect with but her awful history made it awkward and difficult? Something like that? I like JJ, married man affair aside, I feel here like she's truly trying to shake off the ice queen image. Difficult, when you play both Betty and Emma Frost. Good luck to her though, I hope she finds decent peoples to hang with.

ReplyDelete@Roman Holiday, VB wants Anna Wintour's validation so an American Vogue cover is her goal as opposed to an Italian/French Vogue cover. Hasn't happened and doesn't look like it will happen. Don't know [would like to hear anybody's insight/opinion] about why it hasn't been done.
ReplyDeleteOT: Not only does she look like a great catch for the cover of any fashion magazine [uh, big caveat, i'm the last person to come to for fashion advice], but i'm in awe of her appearance [to wear those platform heels!!! to Will's and Kate's wedding at her stage of pregnancy???] and the fact that she seems to have VERRRRY happy and healthy children.
Harper is absolutely adorable and is age appropriately dressed; the boys seem to spend lots of good time w/both parents. Sometimes, based on gossip [but who believes that stuff?] the Beckham's marriage seems fragile, but they seem to work on keeping it together.
Personally, I'm waiting for a truthful, in depth biography of La Wintour. Any suggestions?
Oh, and a BIG thank you and many hugs to you who have posted re Jen Aniston's and Streisand's similarities. I've always been described as a Streisand doppleganger except that i've got a cute nose and a beautiful mouth. It gives me some confidence since I think JA is 'vanilla' attractive, and BS is, at best, exotic.
ReplyDeleteIt's always been so weird to me that people will scream at me "DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU LOOK LIKE?" And then tell me 'except for the nose and mouth.' Ummm, those are kind of big facial features. And truly, her fans aren't shy shrinking violets. I've been screamed and pointed at in many public places. And i'm actually a shy, shrinking violet who withers in the aftermath. Uhhh, first world problems? Yeah, i guess so.
