For a while there it looked like he'd decided to move on from shooting himself out of cannons into the realm of professional respectability, then he dropped off the face of the earth. Now he's back to making "Jackass" movies and dressing like he's late for the campus panty raid. Did he have some kind of reverse moment of clarity?
ReplyDeleteI finally got around to renting "Rock of Ages" (something to watch during a 5 hour blood draw). Man, Julianne Hough is a BAD singer. How bad? Tom Cruise sang much, MUCH better than her. Didn't help tho'. The movie is awful.

ReplyDeleteI'll always give Johhny a pass because when questioned about his role in The Ringer, he said he did it as he knew his role as a friend/defender to Paralympians in the movie might make his fans think about how they treat the 'differently abled' and hopefully make them respect these people more. Mad respect for that.

Hough rhymes with rough. she got paid for a while to do that proactive commercial and says it in the beginning. I hate myself for knowing this crap.
ReplyDeleteI heard the name pronounced before I ever saw it spelled, and it's pronounced "huff." So the first time I saw it spelled, I didn't even realize who I was reading about. Then about the second or third time I read it, it connected that Hough was "huff," and I did know who everyone was writing/talking about!
ReplyDeleteOn a similar note, it bothers me endlessly when people say JK Rowling to rhyme with Howling. It rhymes with Bowling!
