National Enquirer Blind Item

WHAT legendary performer’s friends are freaking out because the 60-something singer/ actress has been mixing anti-anxiety pills and booze – AGAIN?! The leggy star recently sang at a friend’s birthday party, but not only was she way off-key, she forgot the words to “Happy Birthday”!

    I was thinking Tin Turner because of the reference to the legs. I don't remember hearing about her mixing booze and benzo's though.

    As someone who has anti-anxiety meds, they're not at all 'fun' with booze, they just make you really sleepy. Vic and booze? Sure. Xanax or Klonopin? Not at all fun. I'll even say incredibly boring....not that I am encouraging anyone to get hammered and pop pills. o.O

    Mother Campfire is spot-on about the benzo-alcohol combo just putting you to sleep. How is that fun?! Not that mixing anything is a good idea, of course.

    Liza makes the most sense. Cher is strongly anti-drugs, as CarolMR pointed out, and Tina Turner's a pretty strict Buddhist, so I would imagine she chants instead of using pills/booze for stress relief.

    I never really do these, but I'm guessing Goldie Hawn. There's been some pics of her looking a hot buttered mess and she has done singing stuff. I used to have a tape of some kids program she did way back where she sang.
