Gary Glitter Arrested

You know if there is child sex abuse going on anywhere in celebrity circles in the UK that Gary Glitter had to have been involved. The former glam rock star and convicted child abuser has been arrested as police continue their investigation into the sexual abuse activities of former BBC host Jimmy Savile. Jimmy hosted a BBC children's program forever and much like Jerry Sandusky was allowed to get away with abusing kids because of his position. No kid was safe in his company. Of course he managed to keep it a secret until he died and even got some kind of papal blessing which can't be removed. Hell, he was just like all the other pedophiles in the church anyway so they probably traded photos and luring techniques. I would not be surprised at all if Jimmy and Gary trolled for 10 year old girls together. Apparently the BBC knew all of this was going on but because Savile got such high ratings and was deemed untouchable people let him keep getting away with it believing it would not harm anyone. Oh, and when Gary Glitter was arrested before his biggest supporter was Jimmy Savile. Yeah. F**kers.

  1. Thank God they finally got this slippery bastard. They've been trying for years to get a case to stick.

Hahaha I don't think a Papal anything will protect these pricks....

  2. I'm the Leader of the Gang, I am...
Enjoy headlining at the Isle of Wight Gary, and I don't mean at the Festival. Weirdly, first concert I ever went to was Gary Glitter. I was 5, and luckily I was with my Grandpa. Now Grandpa's comment at the time was 'Well, that was something I've never seen the like of before.' I wonder what assorted thoughts he'd have now, though I can guess!

  4. god please let some Dexter like person end up in the same jail sail as that fuck wad.

Off topic, if you're in the Northeast like me, hope everybody stays safe, stays inside and has plenty of emergency snacks to get through the storm.

  5. Jimmy Savile got away with it. Over 300 victims so far, spanning 50 years. Everyone knew, there were PLENTY of rumours and blinds, but nothing was done. If ever proof was needed that 'exposing' pedophiles via blinds doesn't work, this is it. If you know something, name and shame, don't make entertainment of of it.

  6. I just don't get how or why anyone with knowledge of this sort of activity would keep quiet, or with the authority to do something would do nothing. What kind of society doesn't protect their children against these monsters?

  7. There's a special corner of Hell waiting for people like those guys. And a table right next to them for every person who knowingly looked the other way while they victimized and scarred children because there was money in pretending not to know.

  8. It is time for the laws regarding pedophiles to change. It is ridiculous to go on believing that therapy and a short jail sentence is going to help 'cure' a pedophile. They are released and somehow always manage to elude their probation orders and work around their parole conditions to their benefit. Within a very short time frame they are back doing what they were doing before they were arrested. It may sound harsh to lock someone away for life, but seriously it's time to start protecting our children rather than the rights of some child diddler.

    1. I agree therapy'll never help to "cure" a profile and should be very restricted the rest of their life because of such severe safety issues. Unfortunately, many abusers were also offended on as children, by adults or other kids. So I differ in that I think therapy could be very helpful to some offenders because if a child was offended on they have a skewed outlook of the world. That being said, I'm all for chemical castration and either living in a therapeutic criminal facility, and for those that are sick f*cks, let them to to prison and into the general population.

Omg Viking girl that number is horrible!!!!

Sigh.. There needs to be more vigilante cyber groups to take these fucks down. Obviously it's of little interest to the police unless it's a scandal or the government who wants to allocate our money to war mongering. Where do I sign up?

  10. Whoa @audrey you know what u just made me realize? If you saw the last American Horror Story they were talking about how (it takes place in 1950's USA) shock therapy was being used to "cure" homosexuality which then turned into the more humane behavior modification. Whatever that means. In a mental hospital. But like u said, pedo's get a short jail sentence and are released. All they have to do (that I know of) is register as a sex offender and they have to tell everyone in their neighborhood. Not that there isn't, but I never hear of any type of required therapy or whatever "behavior modification" is, which seems like it would be exactly what a pedo needs! That's IF they deserve to not be locked up which I can't see.

  12. I just Googled Jimmy Savile and realized that he is "Sir" Jimmy!! It is some sort of Papal Knighthood which "cannot be removed".

They should find a way to remove it anyway. (This is coming from a Catholic). It's an insult to all the hundreds of children he molested that he be allowed this honour...

  13. Not every State, or in my case Province has mandatory sex offenders registration requirements and quite often repeat offenders are free to live where they want. Every so often we get an alert on the news about some idiot getting paroled and the police deem him dangerous enough to alert the public...which was what led to my statement. If they are so dangerous--why aren't they kept where they can't harm any more victims.

  14. It's pushing it to say the the BBC knew all about it. There were rumours and a couple of complaints, but these were considered malicious gossip because Savile was a 'good person' who did lots of charity work. He also worked in hospitals and with the disabled, so it's not only the BBC involved.

There were also rumours of necrophilia.....

  15. Oh and there were at least two reports to the police which were not acted on. Savile was 'untouchable'.

  16. Too much time and money is spent on pediphiles that should go to help their victims. THere is no cure or rehab for pediphiles. Past time to warehouse them all.

  17. don't forget to mention how he had his own room at the children's hospital where he had free reign to rape the staff and patients, AND he volunteered at the morgue, which makes his jokes about being into necrophilia all the more troubling.

as sick as all of this is, I am certainly glad the acceptance tide is taking a turn for being, non-acceptance anymore. "and in the darkness there must come out to light," no?

  19. While it's great this is all finally coming out, it's rampant on this side of the pond too as we all know too well. Until EVERYTHING is out in the open, I won't be satisfied.

  20. Anyone who knew about this is equally as guilty.

Why can't you remove a blessing?
Really, what does that mean anyway?

  21. @goes - I read somewhere that the Vatican said the honor goes away when a person dies (that's why they don't take it back).

  22. Wasn't Glitter caught having sex with kids in Asia? Why was he not tried and convicted there?

  23. PuggleMommy, he did serve time in Vietnam - 3 years. He used his 18yo girlfriend out there to procure a 12yo. He was facing the death penalty, but then paid damages to the girls family, and instead got a 3 year sentence and deportation.

The irony is he still earns a fortune in royalties every year thanks to radio stations playing his songs.

  24. These animals will never change. There is too many of them in high up positions in the police, government the world over and we all know about the Vatican that's why sentencing is "light" for these scum. IMHO they should be used in medical experiments instead of innocent creatures and keep them on and island somewhere. Oh and branded too :)
