Blind Item #3
What actress who is finally starting to get movie roles again, really needs to remember to drink her coffee or something in the morning. When she doesn't she is out of control. The one time big thing in Hollywood who had one of the biggest fastest drop offs ever after an embarrassing incident is now trying to get back up to B lost although she still does have A list name recognition. On set this week she has been yelling at people non-stop. Oh, and throwing enough things to earn a Naomi Campbell trophy. Drink handed to her and it was wrong? Threw it on the ground. Makeup not right? Threw lipstick at makeup artist. People talking and smiling. "Why don't you shut the f**k up. People are trying to concentrate here."

Absolutely Winona. And why not? She's obviously got serious impulse control issues (among others). I could take her or leave her, and if she's being impossible then I say just dump her entitled ass.

ReplyDeleteIf I was this woman's makeup artist and she dared to throw anything at me, I'd make her look SO terrible just to get back at her. These people aren't making you up for their health, honey! So quit acting like you own the world because frankly, you're incredibly easily replaceable. I am SO sick of the celebrity "I'm better than you" attitude I can't even describe...

ReplyDeleteJulia apparently pissed off someone with serious connections in Hollywood and got basically blacklisted. I forget the exact details - an affair with the wrong person if I recall correctly.

ReplyDeletePeople. While I can see why people would guess Winona Ryder...I seriously doubt it's her even if this blind item were to reveal that it's her. Winona may be a lot of things but the one thing I have NEVER heard of her being is a diva.

ReplyDeleteAnd I totally thought Kirsten for this. The embarassment being when she was getting hammered at every function a few years ago and had that weird looking rash on her feet that made everybody (randomly) think she was a junky. She took a few years off, did Melancholia and On the Road.

ReplyDeleteMother campfire I'm with you, I know everyone is guessing Kiki for the earlier blind but this suits her too. She has an alleged history of being really nasty to us regular folk too - apparently Jakey G apologized for her atrocious behavior constantly while they were together.

ReplyDeleteI don't think this is Winona. I've met her a couple times (spent a day with her in 1998 and again in 2003) and she was unassuming and kind--kinda shy in a self-conscious way. These interactions were not work related and she certainly could have pulled the "do you know who I am?" b.s. had she wanted to.
ReplyDeleteI do think she has/had some major anxiety/depression issues which led or contributed to prescription drug abuse. I believe those issues have as much to do with her being out of the spotlight in recent years as the shoplifting "incident."
Then again, maybe she is a terror at work. I haven't seen her in a that environment.
Oh, for the people that were speculating about her current weight in a recent post--she was tiny when I met her. As in Eva Longoria sized. I'm 5'8 and 120lbs and I literally felt like a chubby giant next to W.R.
She just played an uber-bitch in Bachelorette. If this blind is actually aged a little, it 100% fits that she would be an asshole during filming. It says 'this week' though and it appears that Two Faces of January (some rando thriller) is filming right now. *shrug* Enty has been making barbs at her being hungover when they were walking through NY recently. Who knows...

If anything, Winona Ryder has always been known to be easy to work by a lot of actors and directors.

Speaking from experience, depression is a motherfucker and it can make you intensely irritable. It's hard not to snap at people when you feel so unspeakably awful.

ReplyDeleteRom are you nuts? She is WELL known for being a massive diva on set and extremely difficult to work with. By the time of her shoplifting arrest people had already stopped hiring her. NO ONE in the industry wanted to work with her and LOVED seeing her fall from grace like that.
She's well known as being one of the worst, most truly mean bitches in Hollywood.

ReplyDeleteI've heard of Winona Ryder being a bit of a loner, anxiety ridden, a bit anti-social, and eccentric but NEVER ONCE have I ever heard of her being a nightmare on a movie set. Never.
Had the "diva on set rumors" been true then her 2001 shoplifting arrest would have completely ended her career and she would not be getting any acting roles today. The reason people did not hire her after her shoplifting incident was because of all the negative press she was getting.
Meg Ryan is a great guess. Russell Crowe being the 'incident'....and the whole issue with her daughter, Daisy, I think is her name? Still has A list name recognition, but not much else. I'm too lazy right now to check IMDB, too.
