What former Lost actress got hammered at a party recently and ended up having sex with a guy in front of everyone in a pool at the party. The Lost actress had met the guy about 45 minutes earlier.
What about Emilie de Ravin (hope not--actually I hope it's not any of these, but it's got to be someone...)? She's on Once Upon a Time, isn't she, so might have been at an event for the second season premiere?
In Enty's defense, he has posted similar blinds about men. I recall one that was revealed about Ryan Reynolds, having sex with a woman in a foreign country (who didn't speak any English) within an hour of meeting her.
Slut-shaming? She had sex in a pool in front of everyone at a party. Chances are good this person actually wanted people to talk about it (and even if she didn't, who the hell is owed any kind of expectation of privacy or that no one will gossip?). It's only slut-shaming if that's what you project on it (you consider her a slut to be shamed by talk about it, obviously).
The Ryan Reynolds blind is just about a guy who picks up a non-English speaker and they go somewhere private. Sounds pretty consensual to me. This blind is just not right. Not everything needs to be printed.
Wow, Amy. No Amy, I obviously don't consider her a slut. Don't do that "project" accusation. I asked if she was able to give consent. It says she was hammered. My guess, too drunk to know what was going on, therefore unable to give consent.
oh come on! if you fark someone in front of people you are a drunk and/or a slut. slut shaming is calling a woman who enjoys sex a slut. calling someone, man or woman, who has sex in a pool with others there a slut is an euphemism
michelle is into chicks was at a concert she was right in front of me (this was years ago) kissing on a woman, same woman that one time she was accused of having a fight with
Whoever it was, that was just a really bad idea--either she was too drunk to know what she was doing, at which point one of her friends should have stepped in(then again, it's entirely likely that pretty much everyone there was messed up), or she was being a flagrant exhibitionist, which can definitely come back to bite you in the butt. (Please, get a room!) Either way, not good, and really not smart.
Call me crazy, but I am missing the part where Enty mentions that this may not have been consensual.
In my college days I would get hammered drunk all the time and (slut shaming myself here)had a one night stand here and there and ALL of it was consented. So if the hammered drunk part of this blind is what you guys are going off of to turn this into a dark and twisted blind, you might want to rethink. This just sounds like a Hollywood actress who enjoys partying and penetration.
Wow! What a holier than thou group of comments. Amazing how not a single person here has ever had a one nite stand. And why is everyone "slut-shaming" the girl (horrible phrase BTW)? Two people involved here! And has anyone ever tried ti have sex in water...not exactly an erotic moment. Somehow I doubt very seriously that A. It actually happened or B. That they were thrashing around in the throes of passion trying to get an audience. They very well could've been trying ti be discreet in the deep end.
@CrazyCatLady, I guess I'm the holier than thou person.
This post bothers me because of the word "hammered." I'm not saying anything against one night stands, I'm just questioning her ability to say yes or no.
So I ask a couple of questions and I've been accused of calling the woman in question a slut and of being holier than thou. Why can't some just make their opinions without attacking other opinions.
@Robin, your comment was great because you looked at two points of view and didn't attack.
@JSierra, I've had similar situations where I was definitely taken advantage of because of how drunk I was, I didn't say no but I didn't say yes, I was in no shape to say anything. And then I became the school slut (even my friends called me that). This post struck a nerve.
I've been to parties where consenting adults are naked and some are having sex or swimming or just hanging around, comfortable in their own skin, so to speak. Everyone there was comfortable. They knew what was going to go down and if they didn't like it, they didn't go to the party. I see no problem with this.
@anita_mark, it is a little weird in here today isn't it?
I had occasion to meet a guy and several hours later he took me home because I was too drunk to drive. I didn't have a pool, but I had a bed and that is where I would have been headed if he were there or not. I didn't say yes, and I didn't say no, he was just in the bed with me.
The only label I got was the one I gave myself, stupid!
This was many years ago. It wasn't rape per se, but it wasn't done with any clarity of mind on my part.
obviously the ones who had similar experiences, but somehow did not entirely made peace with the happenings re-live some of the stuff and mess up the comments by highlighting that "abusive" aspect over what it is.
put in your answers for this blind, and go solve another one. here you work yourselves into a sore spot and you will still dwelve in it while we all moved on to the next blind.
funny though, how many of the nice uptight cdan women had a somehow messed up past. this explains the whole lot of "i dont want to be or seem... BUT...." and then really measuring up the negative aspects of the involved people in some of the blinds.
wish you all a sunny day. have a warm bath and relax.
if it strikes a chord, its just in your head.
here, it is not about you and your still present past, and the ones in the pool were happy and drunk at it. nothing bad there. just drunk this time, instead of the drugged out label in other blinds, just in the pool and not in fron of everybody. and what nice thing that they "just had sex" instead of puking in some vases.
It is a horrible read: it wasnt´t rape per se. then why use the word? it then was rape "per what" ? so if you use it, it was. it wasnt done with clarity of mind? what if he asked you and with your unclear mind, you just don´t remember. still rape? that is sicker than the entire blind.
I totally agree. I've had a few traumatic events in my life but I don't read too far between the lines to turn the blind into a therapy session. Make sense? Plus, who knows if this is even factual? Its an entertainment website with disclaimers all over.
Thank you, unknown, for telling us all what to do and how to think. I guess analytical thinking is a no-no in your book, correct? Just read the words that are printed and accept them. That would be fine for a work of fiction but this is a supposed true event so there was likely more to it. But let's not discuss that.
Also, really nice of you to rip into something Del Riser said. Class act.
I don't see any sinister undertones or insinuations upon reading between the lines of this entry. Sounds like she had a good time getting drunk and a little something-something from a random handsome fella. End of story.
i dont tell you how to think. i think it as i want, and really dont care about what you think.
and if you feel that i tell you what to think, this too, is just in your head. and it is nice to speak for all other readers: "tell us ALL what to think"
i agree to not further discuss that - especially with you. because what you say is that i have to accept the other interpretations that must be tru(er).
If having sex while your hammered constitutes rape than the world is one giant rape festival. Especially for those of us singles who enjoy an evening glass of wine. Or bottle.
What about Evangeline Lily? I don't know much about her and if she is more freewheeling or has a stick up her ass. Also MR was on 26 episodes of Lost wheras EL was on 114, making her more of a Lost actress simply through exposure. I almost feel like calling MR a Lost actress is like saying Ian Somerhalder is a Lost actor. Then again I could be totally off base with that.
@anita Obviously your friends were assholes and not very good friends if they degraded you like that. That is really shitty that that happened to you and you had to deal with that, but that still doesn't mean that when you are hammered drunk you lose all ability to make any type of decision for yourself and any hookup doesn't automatically become rape or sexual abuse.
Bottom line this blind took a turn for the dark and twisted.
if true, this is probably Emilie. She just shot a film and the producers were very upset that she drank on the set and looked puffy and horrible. Hopefully she will get help.
Thanks for sharing your stories. I think drunken semi-willing sex is still an issue that isn't discussed as much as it should be. This could have been me, but instead of frat parties in college I hung out at dance clubs with gay men. Safe by default, really.
I see your point and want to send you a big hug of support for sharing. It's not an easy thing to live through and then relive again and again in this type of format.
@Unknown,Good grief, I said it wasn't rape per se which I think means "as such".
I said I didn't have clarity of mind, so maybe he did ask, I don't know, that was the point. I do know he found out where I lived to take me home by going through my purse, that was evident by the mess he made of my wallet getting at my I.D.
I was responding to Anita, I think you just like to stir things up and pick on people. If that makes you feel better, go ahead and pick away. I dropped all my baggage years ago, now they're just stories of things that happened.
Wow! No guess but grateful my friends would put me to bed with all my clothes on. Waking up in bed with shoes on was enough to shame me! Glad I'm a grown damn woman now.
When a woman gets drunk, gets behind the wheel of a car, drives and kills someone she goes to jail for manslaughter. But if a woman gets drunk and gets in a swimming pool and makes a spectacle of herself wiith a random guy, also impaired, she is a helpless victim?

Many women have had Bad Experiences when under the influence, but I'll try to project as little as possible.
If a female is stone-cold out of it, then having sex w/her in front of an audience is non-consensual & verges on date-rape--even if they met just 40 mins ago. But that's not the point of this Blind, if I understand correctly.
If the girl's just "hammered," exhibitionist sex may ring her bells. & that's interesting gossip (albeit annoying to witness).
The dividing line is, spifflicated or no, going home w/a guy is generally consensual (unless he offers to drive a wasted girl home w/o having flirted or transmitted any sort of Mating Call... then drives her to his place. Girls w/Issues will prob lie back & think of England).
BUT.. if a man & woman get sh*t-faced & have intercourse in front of a bunch of party-goers,no one's being taken advantage of; our couple is simply being unmannerly & injudicious (underwater intercourse sounds sexy on paper but is seldom as fun as it sounds).
So what IS Michelle R's (public) hang-up with admitting to liking girls? Everyone seems to know, & it's fashionable again (if you're female). Heck: she can just claim she's bi!
So few interesting Latina actors out there; MR has talent + stands out from the blond, bland, generic hordes. The booze is another thing entirely--tho her apparent lack of LA DUI's make me hope she's gotten over the drink/drive stuff.
In the unlikely case that she IS the actor behind the blind--OK; she's known to be obnoxious--but at least has stopped putting others' lives at risk.
Maggie Grace and Emilie DeRavin (if she's really having alcohol problems) do seem like good guesses.

The woman Michelle Rodriguez got arrested with? I never watched the show, I don't know names.
ReplyDeleteMaggie Grace at a "Taken 2" party?
ReplyDeleteFrom Lostpedia:
ReplyDelete"On Dec. 1, 2005, Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) and Cynthia Watros (Libby) were arrested for suspicion of drunken driving."
From me:
Who cares?
I think Michelle wouldn't be interested in having sex with a dude.
ReplyDeleteMaggie Grace ftw.
What about Emilie de Ravin (hope not--actually I hope it's not any of these, but it's got to be someone...)?
ReplyDeleteShe's on Once Upon a Time, isn't she, so might have been at an event for the second season premiere?
She is known for sleeping around a bit... Didn't she have a three some with R Pats and Camilla Bell?
DeleteIs this what slut-shaming is? Was she too drunk to give consent? Was the guy drunk or some creepy predator?
ReplyDeleteI don't want to be all high-horse here but this is icky.
Don't know, but at least Enty narrowed the field considerably with his clue.
ReplyDeleteThe actress that played Rose.

I hope it was a chlorinated pool and not salt water.

Agreed... people jumping to conclusions making horny women out to be victims. Bleggh!
DeleteJSierra. I completely agree. The comments make it sound like she was taken advantage of. I read this as exhibitionism and partying...consensual type.
ReplyDeleteJSierra: This just sounds like a Hollywood actress who enjoys partying and public penetration!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the guy was Shia and LostGirl wanted to try out for his "film"
ReplyDelete*wink wink*
I don't care about the andom hook ups as much as I care about the probable STD risks. I would be freaking out about that morning after situation...

Uggh, learn to handle your shit while under the influence or stay home and drink/drug like most people who are fearful of situations like this.
Delete1) Lots of people get turned on by exhibitionism so public sex isn't that surprising to me.
ReplyDelete2) Sex in a chlorinated pool sucks. She probably had an irritated pussy the next day.
I've been to parties where consenting adults are naked and some are having sex or swimming or just hanging around, comfortable in their own skin, so to speak. Everyone there was comfortable. He, it could be Michelle Rodruguez. Remember a while back she was quoted as saying, "Mitchie loves the sausage!"

The list of cast members who didn't get a DUI while filming Lost is probably shorter than one with who did get one.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, forget I said anything. I'm not coming back onto this thread again.
