Tori Spelling Has Emergency Surgery
For the second time in as many pregnancies, Tori Spelling was rushed to the hospital after giving birth. This time, Tori was suffering complications from her second c-section in less than a year and fourth overall. According to a statement from her publicist, Tori is doing fine but is still in the hospital. That is a scary thing to be sitting at home and know something is wrong and have to rush back to the hospital and for it to be bad enough where you have to stay in the hospital for four or five days after. I wonder if she really means it when she says she wants a few more kids.
I think it's time for her to get her tubes tied.
ReplyDeleteOr for that sperm donor of a husband to get clipped !
ReplyDeleteHope shes ok. Kinda like her, shes matured over the past few years. Ive almost forgotten about her "stealing" her current husband.
ReplyDeleteTori was the pre-cursor for Lee Ann Rhimes.
ReplyDeleteGet better Tori and maybe look into adoption if you want to expand the family more.
ReplyDeleteIs this her third or fourth pregnancy?
ReplyDeleteLOL... Time to retire that uterus Tori.
ReplyDeleteIdeally they want a minumum of 18 months between each c-section. 2 in 1 year can cause serious complications, which I am guessing we are seeing here. They range from infection to severe bleeding that may require a hysterectomy.
ReplyDeleteShe is also 39 which makes recovery and the chance of complication greater.
Hopefully this scare will knock some sense into her and if she does want other children will look into adoption.
Thank you CamColty!
ReplyDeleteenough babies. you can only open that zipper so many times and she's reached the limit.
ReplyDeleteA bit off topic but just reading some of the other comments made me think but why did Tori and Dean not cop any crap (compared to Lee Ann & Eddie) about their situation given it was basically the same thing right?
ReplyDeleteThey did Misspeg86, but the internet was a kinder gentler place back then.
ReplyDeleteHow scary for her. Hopefully she is okay. Someone mentioned maybe she went in for a tubal, usually they do it while doing the C-section. (that is how I had mine done)
I had 3 c-sections in 5 years and for my last one, it took longer to get through my scar tissue than to have my daughter.
Hopefully it is something minor, and not major (like a blood clot).
All I know is, my Dr really recomended that I didn't have a 4th c-section. And I had to make the that choice for a tubal. I know it sounds easy to say "hey you have 3 enough" but emotionally choosing to no longer have kids, whether or not you want more kids, is a really hard choice.
I also have a girlfriend that has 3 kids, 2 were c-section, and on her last c-secton, her uterus was paper thin. No more babies for her.
You just never know until you get in there. A texbook c-section can go wrong in a heartbeat. An unforseen infection can occure very easily.
Anywho, I wish her well, and hopefully she will be okay.
Good point! 2009 vs. 2005. Glad that it sounds like ur births ended up ok despite the complications!
DeleteFor some reason I like her...hope she recovers soon and completely. And doesn't have any more babies!
ReplyDelete@misspeg86 If I remember correctly, they openly acknowledged that they hurt their former spouses (something that I don't think Leann or Eddie ever did, and meant it). They also disentangled themselves from their marriages pretty quickly after meeting eachother, and used the word "soulmate" to describe eachother. On some level, I think people are more understanding of a marriage breaking up if someone "marries the wrong person," then finds their soulmate. I don't think that anyone views Eddie and Leann as being in that situation
ReplyDeleteI agree. I'm really happy for Tori and Dean and how they have built their family. They seem really genuine. Also with LeAnn and Eddie it probably doesn't help that they are such famewh*res!
DeleteLeanne stalked the ex. And they were caught with pics cheating together. Different than Tori and Dean. Plus Leanne is obsessed with people accepting that what she did was "right".
ReplyDeleteHope she's okay.
ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, these last too weren't this close together on purpose.Ho
Lol. "Ho" was a typo. I wasn't calling Tori(or anyone else) a ho.
ReplyDeleteSame thing happened to me when I had my 2nd daughter 18 months after the first. I got a high fever the night I'd gone home and went back to my doctor who rushed me to the hospital. Spent a week on IV antibiotics there. They let me keep my newborn with me but only if a well person stayed with me so my mom spent the night there for a week. . The hospital was kind enough to move us into the celebrity suite so she would have a couch to sleep on.
ReplyDeleteWhat was wrong with me? I developed an internal infection somewhere after birth. It's common. Lots of traumatic things going on inside and outside you at the time. Who knows where those hands have been? ;)
Some hospitals won't preform a tubal at time of birth or at all for that matter. I had my son at a catholic based hospital and was told I would have to wait 6 weeks and go to another free standing facility to have it done.
ReplyDeletei hope the best for her and her kids
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, Tori has been pretty clear that baby #4 will be her last.
ReplyDeleteThe part of her uterus where they cut into it probably really compromised. Another pregnancy might make it pop open, and that could kill her AND her baby. OBGYN's don't advise more than 4 c-section. Trust, I had 3 (last time was twinsies) and my OBGYN told me any more could be EXTREMELY dangerous!
ReplyDelete@JoElla...well written!
ReplyDeleteBobbi I didn't even think of that! Just what you want 6 weeks after giving birth. Hopefully it went well.
ReplyDeleteMisspeg86, she is fine and dandy and a moody almost 13 year old.. now we live in fear of her fresh hormones! LOL
She needs to quit while she's ahead. scary stuff. not worth the attention she thinks she might get by having more.
ReplyDeleteI hope she's okay.
ReplyDeleteI hope I'm not an asshole for thinking she's gonna be bummed if she can't more children because then she can't sell more stories to Kneepads and paps of being preggo again.
Seriously, her income is nothing more than selling herself as Michelle Duggar Jr. What's gonna happen when there are no new births, etc? How often can she call the paps for a cutsey family-walking-down-the-street photo before they stop caring and then what? She doesn't actually do anything.
I like her. She works fir her money, seems to take goid care of her childen. She orob git infected incsision or some such ghing. I wush her well, and mb slow down a bit, and rest.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if her stupid mother even went to see her. Another piece of work.
ReplyDelete@Joella~ unfortunately I didn't do it. I couldn't afford it due to my insurance. And guess what? I got pregnant 7 months later. I was really slapping myself in then.
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure I read that she said that she felt like this was her last pregnancy, and she was thinking about adopting if she was going to have more kids.
ReplyDeleteTori Spelling can have as many babies as she wants to. she is not part of the 47%.
ReplyDeleteI am in the medical field, and depending on who you ask, the maximum amount of c-sections a person can have is 3 or 4. People seem to forget that c-sections are MAJOR surgeries, and after 3, really, the scar tissue gets really thick and it becomes harder to cut through that area to get to the baby. If you're ever debating an elective c-section, the second you see one in person you'll be swearing off them forever. What they do to your body is just terrifying! People above have mentioned other complications with multiple c-sections, as well. And especially having babies 3 and 4 in less than a year? It's no wonder something bad happened to her. As much as I dislike her, I hope for her children's sake that everything is ok and she gets healthy very soon.
ReplyDelete@MissP I think Brandi Glanville was more vocal about it although Dean's ex did write a book....
ReplyDeleteI want to know why no one ever holds it against Julia Roberts.
Ooh Julia Roberts?! I didn't know about that one. Going to Google it now!
DeleteAnother reason why women should be supported and encouraged to birth VAGINALLY - ya know, the place where babies have been exiting out of since the beginning of the human race? The method that we've perfected via evolution. Yeah, vaginas.
ReplyDeleteVASECTOMY TIME.
ReplyDeleteTori is no saint! She broke-up with her first husband via her therapist. Klassy!
