Shia LaBeouf Talks About Carey Mulligan

In an interview this week, Shia LaBeouf spoke about his relationship with Carey Mulligan for the first time. They met on the set of Wall Street 2 so you know it was just a movie hookup or at least that is what Shia thought it was. It turns out though that Carey wanted the real deal and wanted to get married and have kids and Shia said that is not what he wants or wanted and can't see in his future so they were destined to end. He just wanted to make it last as long as possible so that means he probably strung her along which is why she hates the guy now and refuses to talk about him or to him. He also says that even though he is not religious that when it comes to marriage he has ethics and is only doing it once. I think I know what he means, but how does he feel about drunken racist rants and his ethics?

  2. What a douche. Will she be forced to answer questions about being dumped? How embarrassing.

  3. He looks like the cop from the movie Bridesmaids. Don't know his name? Anyone? Bueller??

  4. What drunken racist rants? When did that happen?

  5. All I think about when I see him is ...what a mess. He looks miserable and dirty 24/7.

  6. In Websters next to the entry for "Adorable" is a picture of Carey Mulligan. Shia Labeouf is dead to me. He'll be dead to the film industry too very soon.

  7. Thanks Cinefile!! I think it is just the angle of the picture that makes him look like Chris - otherwise Shia pet is not very pretty and his bad attitude makes him even uglier!!!!

  8. Yh, Shia lost his way. Couldn't GAF anymore- oh how things have changed. Used to love his funny arse, then he just became an arse :(

  10. I read some of that interview and he seemed overly gushy about Carey Mulligan. She must hate his guts and he just prays she doesn't decide to blab.

  11. Why does shia think so highly of himself when he looks like he hasn't bathed in months and has not had a solid hit in a while.

  12. Didn't she just get married to the guy from Mumford & Sons or did I confuse her with someone else? If so, she's clearly moved on so why doesn't he keep his mouth shut?

  13. Carey Mulligan is adorable, plus a really good actress. She should thank the heavens above that douchey Shia bailed. He looks like he smells really bad all of the time.

  14. skimpymist - maybe Shia doesn't think highly of himself, but overcompensates by projecting that he loves himself? His alleged drinking and other problems would be in line with that.

  15. I wish Shia didn't turn out to be such a LaDouche. I want to like him.

  16. Shia had racist rants while he was arrested in Walgreens

  17. It happened at the Walgreens on Michigan Avenue, in Chicago (just south of the Water Tower), when he was in town for Transformers. It was a prior reveal I believe, but we all knew it was him at the time of the blind, IIRC.

  18. I'd rather hear his thoughts on Richard Mulligan.

  19. Excellent Ingrid! And if no one has seen "Never Let Me Go" please do. Carey was amazing! (And the music is hauntingly beautiful.)

  21. My codependancy & I will always root for Shia. That means he must be really screwed up.

  22. His performance is really wonderful in Lawless - it's Tom Hardy's movie and he makes everyone rise to his level. But man, does he look BAD. He used to be such a good looking kid, not in a classic but in a kind of interesting way. Now he looks dumpy and frumpy and bloated. He looks ten years older than he is already. That is not a face that's going to keep getting leading man roles if he doesn't get it together.

  23. This feels like a BI reveal.

I think Shia is truly a gifted actor. He's great at showing emotion on his face & interacting with his costars. On screen. It's really too bad he's gotten so out of control IRL.
    Such a shame.

  24. Drunken, racist rants aside, this situation doesn't seem all that different from any early-mid 20's couple where one person wants to get married and the other person does not. It was shitty of him if he strung her along, but that also happens in lots of relationships. If that's all there is to this relationship and breakup, I can't hate on Shia too much for this. Now his current dirty-looking hair is a whole other story...

  27. I was just looking for some information about Shia L. and came across a mugshot of his father, Jeffrey L.

The father was charged with Assault with the intent to Rape, which occurred on the set of Even Stevens, that Shia had been on when he was a teen or tweener. The father also punched a man who was giving Shia an innocent hug.

There was a blind a few weeks ago about an actress who had been assaulted by the family member of a fellow actor...or am I imagining things? The actress had never really recovered emotionally and spent alot of time volunteering....

  28. Now wait....who was having the public argument with the pretty asian girl last week?

  29. Hendrix, he gained 40 pounds for the roll so he would look more like a relative of Tom Hardy.
