Sarah Michelle Gellar Had Her Baby

Even though Sarah Michelle Gellar had her baby last week, no one bothered to notice. Since that could not be allowed, her people called US Weekly who broke the big news that I'm sure was keeping many of you up at night. I just want her to name the kid Buffy, but because the baby is a boy, I am going to have to just hold out for Angel. Do you think she would do that? She goes for pretty traditional names. It might be something to do with Freddie because it is a boy. At some point I know some celebrity is going to sell naming rights to their kid. Just wait.

  3. Why is Enty so snarky about her?

  4. Congrats to her, I'm a actually a little sad that Ringer wasn't renewed. A very little sad, though. Still glad I have that hour back...

Isn't she kind of a hag? No biggie, but only Buffy die-hards seem to like her.

  7. Layna Day - that totally explains me. All I hear is people saying she's a bitch (no concrete experiences/stories though)but I still love her. I don't even care that she didn't invite A.Hannigan to her wedding.

Bear in mind that my heroes are "insane" mega-bitch women IE Shannen Doherty, Courtney Love, etc.

Wasn't there something not too long ago alluding that this will be BAG and Megan?

Yeah, I haven't heard any specific stories, but she's got one of those general 'mega witch' motifs working against her. It may be unfair, but it's followed her around since her days on All My Children. That's a long time for some two-bit rumor to trail behind someone, so I *kinda* think there's some truth to it.

  10. Why didn't she invite AH to her wedding?

I think they are just private and don't feel the need to announce from the delivery room. Their daughter is adorable and I love the name Charlotte.

  11. She should name the baby Spike. Now that would be cool.

  12. I'm a Buffy/Angel fan and I can't stand SMG the actress. She gives off diva vibes in her personal life, but gives off normal person vibes in her characters.

I stopped liking her the moment she claimed that she never used a stunt double on Buffy. And when (almost?) none of her castmates were invited to her wedding (but Shannon Doherty was (?!?), I realized that there had to be some reason for the snub.

I tried liking Ringer, but I just couldn't.

  13. @MommaSaid - That statement rang a bell for me too. I think BAG & Megan were the guess for future parents who got a copyright for the name.

  14. No offense to anyone here, but who says you have to invite your co-stars to your wedding, and to not do so is to snub them?
My wedding was relatively small, and we invited friends and family. And one co-worker that I consider a friend above a beyond co-worker status.
Loved Buffy, didn't love Ringer but got a kick out of it and was sorry to see it cancelled. Congrats to SMG and Freddie and, yes, Spike would be awesome!

  15. I hear Buffy and I want to say "Uncle Bill. Where is Cissy and Jody?"

  16. Yayy for her and her family. Who cares if she didn't announce her baby's birth right away? She has a right to privacy and shouldn't feel obligated to put her family in the spotlight.

  17. I've been waiting for Sarah to give birth! she's private Enty, it's not that anyone didn't notice...I hope it's Freddie the Third

  18. It's really too bad. I loved SMG in "Buffy," but she was terrible in "Cruel Intentions" and everything she's done since including "Ringer." If ever an actor/actress was born to play a single role, it has to be SMG.

  19. I like smg, and fredo. Congrats to them! They are private. She said in interview i once read, that she spoke her mind on the set of amc, and didnt take any guff. Thats what gets u the bad rep. I admire her for that. Otherwise she wld end up like yhe blind items about victomized starlets.

  20. Love her. Always have. She and Freddie are one of my favorite celeb couples, if not THE favorite. So chill, low-key, and not attention-seeking. And "BtVS" is my favorite modern show of all-time.

I would doubt that they name the baby after Freddie, because he has famously mentioned several times in interviews that he has not always enjoyed being a junior.

  21. I like SMG as an actress but not so much as a person.
She's a bit too full of herself.

  22. Janele, you have got to be kidding me. Her stunt double in Season 1 of Buffy had really cheap wigs, so it was so obvious when she was onscreen. On my last re-watching of the series, I tried to spot when the stunt double was on, and it's pretty damned frequently.
