I don't think Kiernan Shipka's outfit is age appropriate at all, actually. Just because she's covered up and not wearing fuck me heels doesn't make it age appropriate. This is EXTREMELY mature-looking. Like, chairing a meeting of the PTA before running off to the country club for a cocktail or three, mature.

Since she had the ridiculous bolt-on implants removed (good idea) VB is as curvy as a #2 pencil.
She still looks amazingly slim for a mother-of-four. I don't have a problem with VB: she seems a savvy business woman & a very involved mother. Good for her.

ReplyDeleteJennifer Hudson has gone too far; she looks like a Bratz doll. She looks better having lost weight, but she looked better about 10 pounds back. So hopefully when she starts to gain her weight back she can settle about there.

I admit that I haven't read yesterday's blind that Curly mentioned Messing might be an answer to...don't know if that was a Coke Mom blind or not. But if anyone hasn't read Enty's Coke Mom blinds, try to pull them up, get comfy and be sure to start at the beginning. Don't think there's too many but they're pretty crazy; some are heartbreakers bc they reference Coke Mom's (whomever she may or may not be) kids. Wow luckydog, you're right! I don't think its her, or rather hope its not, but there would usually be a big disscusion about that. I've noticed some of the new commentors would like this site to be something it wasn't before. Personally, I like witty celebrity snark that makes me chuckle, or at least smile. I find other's sharp wit pretty entertaining.

ReplyDeleteI think Kiernan looks great. My mother was strict with what we wore growing up and I was wearing Ralph Lauren and Lacoste shirts with chino skirts. I was always polished and dressed for the occasion. To this day I still dress for the occasion.
Looking around at how people have changed their style for say church really disappoints me. One lady had on yoga pants, a baseball cap and sneakers. She was older than me so it's like she should know better. My mother didn't even like me wearing jeans out to play!
@Jamie2, she wasn't saying that only revealing clothes and stilettos are too old. She was saying the outfit itself is more appropriate on an older woman and I agree. The jacket is too structured for such a young girl. I personally love the outfit but not on a 12-year old. And riding boots would've been a way better choice of footwear.
