Justin Bieber's Mom Says She Was Sexually Abused
Justin Bieber's mom wrote a memoir. Apparently it is better than Dina Lohan's book, but on the down side does not come with a complimentary vial of coke. You win some and lose some. Justin Bieber's mom who for some reason is not actually named Justin Bieber's mom but, Pattie Mallette was on Today yesterday. I think it would be easier if she just changed her name to Justin Bieber's mom. It is not like she is out selling this book as Pattie Mallette. She is out selling it as Justin Bieber's mom. She was given the book deal because of it, so go out and embrace it. Anyway, the book sounds pretty interesting and kind of like a Teen Mom episode. She says she was sexually abused while she was pregnant with Justin Bieber. She then thought about killing herself and having an abortion and was hooked on drugs and drinking a lot and then she was visited by a Christian counselor in the hospital and she changed overnight and a star was born on YouTube 15 years later.
I want to like her, she sounds genuine. I am just so wary of star moms and when they write a book, it kind of ruins any nice thoughts of them a la Dina, etc.
ReplyDeleteWait, am I reading it wrong or does this mean she was hooked up drugs and drinking WHILE pregnant with Justin?
ReplyDeletePlease forgive me, but that just sounds like a whole lot of ugh. I just don't trust her. Not the abused part, just the whole other stuff.
ReplyDeleteEnough already why can't these celebrities help people by creating centers that will really rehabilitate or provide therapy to victims of abuse instead of providing these tell alls under the guise of helping and what it is really saying I need more money to add to my stockpile. I do not discredit their abuse or tragedy but I really wish they would do something instead of saying something
ReplyDeleteWhy am I suppose to care about her? I don't.
ReplyDeleteWhile I genuinely feel for her, I simply cannot forgive what she unleashed on the world.
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of Biebers of any generation, or of celebrity mothers. HOWEVER...at least she got up off her butt and made the effort to do something (while making money off her kid), talking about her own experiences (not her kid's), as opposed to all those celeb moms who just sit & sponge. Also, from what I understand based on her interviews, she's not trying to instruct the rest of us on good parenting (a la DiLo or Britney's mom).
ReplyDeleteWho the hell would buy her memoir?
ReplyDeletehow did she get sexually abused while pregnant? by who?
ReplyDeletePeople get assaulted every day. Last year, two women in the area were abducted at gunpoint, driven to ATM's raped, and left by the river. The pregnant one said she thinks they kept tgem alive because she was pregnant. Another pregnant woman who used to work where I worked was killed by her partner. They think he raped her first, too. Sick, sick men.
DeleteThis makes Justin Beiber the poster child for how wrong things can turn out if you drink or use drugs during pregnancy. The world has been warned.
ReplyDelete(Too mean? Sorry.)
Since the beibs has loads of $$$ let's hope his mom cashes in by giving back...like that'll happen..
ReplyDeleteThank the Lord for that Christian counselor. Without that saint of a person, the world would be without Justin Bieber.
ReplyDeletei love seeing celebs with their moms. does't he look kind of all soft and real with his arm round her?
ReplyDeleteBut, again, what is she famous for?! NOTHING. She's not even his manager or a savvy business woman, or anything. Just 'Justin Beiber's Mom'. Please don't buy this book, what could she possibly say that is different than any other drug addicted, sexually abused pregnant teen saved by a Christian counselor?! Not to be too mean, but it's just another 15 minutes of fame with nothing behind it. Aside from all the snark, how about a book from a drug addicted, sexually abused pregnant teen saved by a Christian counselor who doesn't have Bieber's money to live off of? Let's see how her life is working out....can't stand this kid and his attitude and his YUCK.
ReplyDeleteSorry for her and good for her that she overcame adversity BUT can you go away and take your child with you? Canada is calling you!
ReplyDeleteThe whole thing screams," what about me ?!! What about me??!! Pay attention to me???!!! I had him??!!". Having saud that i feel awful for anyone that was sexually abused, so she has my total sympathy there. Just dont know if i wld hv chosen this venue to discuss.
ReplyDeleteAND she hasn't had sex for 16 years....she was on Ellen yesterday and Ellen gave her a 6 month paid membership to Match.com.
ReplyDelete^I saw that too. That's a long time to hold out.
