Jillian Michaels Is Returning To Biggest Loser

After stating she would not ever be returning to Biggest Loser, Jillian Michaels has changed her mind and will be back as a trainer for the show for the season that kicks off in January. When she left the show she said she had enjoyed her time on the show but it was time to move on to other things and that she was so busy with other work and job opportunities that she could not find the time. Apparently despite now having two kids and a possible new wife, Jillian has the time. Either that or maybe she wants some time away from home. This season will also feature obese teens but they won't have public weigh ins and won't be eliminated.

  1. I'm sure she needs the dough

  2. She shopped multiple reality shows around town but no one wanted to work with her. That's what happens when you're a raging SOB. Then again, ABC had a huge blowout with her before she left and swore they blacklisted her so money talks.

  3. Maybe it's not the case here - because it's tough to say without being involved in the situation - but I get so tired of people being entitled. People with the mentality "OH I'LL SHOW THEM! I'LL QUIT AND THEY'LL HAVE TO SHUT DOWN THE COMPANY" are always in for such a rude awakening.

  4. You should try one of her workout DVD's. Pure comedy gold.

  7. I know someone who worked with her briefly. She is accompanied by a giant entourage whose job it is to pump up her ego the whole time she's working with things like "you're doing great, Jillian," "you're awesome," etc. She also showed up with a bunch of security to which everyone else (not in her entourage) was laughing hysterically over. My friend said she was a GIANT PAIN IN THE ASS, has never worked with her again.

  8. I liked her when the show first started, but her dramatic psychoanalysis was wearing thin. I know she was fired from that doctor show, so I guess selling DVDs, diet pills, and appearing on GoDaddy commercials aren't working out too well?

All I know is if NBC bumps Dulvet for Jillian they're going to hear from me.

  9. They'd better not bump Dolvett!! I'd rather see Bob go!

  12. aw, ya'll are ruining my love for Jillian. I found her very cool on the first few seasons of Biggest Loser. I also love her yoga video and 30 day shred video - she's a badass motivator.

  13. I agree with the Jillian lovers! I love her sooooo much and am so glad she's coming back! I do some of her workout videos to get back into shape and I love them too! I don't want to know what she's like in real life lol :)

  16. I'm indifferent about her, but I don't remember her saying she'd "not ever" return. I remember her saying she needed some time off and wanted to adopt a kid. Which she did.

  17. i like her (i'm not gonna worship at her altar or be all fangirl over her) but OMG that tennis chick trainer on Biggest Loser last year was a total, absolute see you next tuesday. times two. My husband surfs while I watch and he'd turn around and go "woah, who's the bitch? And why does she think she's a trainer - she was tennis player."

It would be a hoot if it ended up being a trio of Bob, Jillian and Delvett. Bob the hippy-dippy one, Jillian the bad-ass grrl-power one, the Delvett the one we actually like.

  18. She never stated she wasn't going to return, nor did she have a falling out with ABC. When she left she was in the process of adopting and wanted to start a family, which she has done. Doing BL is extremely time consuming for the trainers and the crew, but the campus is very close to her home in Malibu. She really not a terrible person. She no nonsense and extremely blunt and honest. A lot of people in entertainment don't like that type of person.

  20. YAY! Love Jillian, though I preferred her on the Australian version, she was nicer on that one.

I haven't seen very many series of Biggest Loser US but Bob and Jillian are awesome! Has Bob left the BL? I swear I read somewhere that I had but I don't know whether I imagined it or not.

  24. I love her. Her podcast is so great, she gives awesome advice, and she comes across as very real.

She has said that NBC had her playing a character on BL, so I think the motherhood will give her the opportunity to soften that a bit.

  25. I think her workout programs are fab.

I thought she was good on the Biggest Loser, when I caught an epi here or there. I do not have the hours to put into NBC reality shows. That shit be too long for my attention span.

Her comments about never getting pregnant because she would never want to destroy her body have always struck a nerve with me. That just seemed like such a harsh thing to say.

  26. @Susan - she never said it would destroy her body. She has PCOS which makes her unable to have children, which is why she adopted.

  27. I still like her. She gives a lot of practical advise on FB. She seems likable enough, but I don't really watch the Biggest Loser. I LOVE her workout DVD's.

She was doing a stint on The Doctors (I thought??) so not sure what happened to that or if she'll do both?
