Jef Holm Being Paid To Date Emily Maynard
In a new report in US Weekly, a woman who made out with Jef Holm as recently as last week claims she told her that he is being paid half of Emily Maynard's salary from The Bachelorette to keep up the appearance they are a couple. Of course he could have just told the woman that so she would agree to have sex with him, but she is also his ex-girlfriend who he dumped for the show, so maybe there is some bitterness on her part. Whatever the case, to actually come out and say it is a big step and would kind of confirm what everyone has suspected all along. Plus, remember how everyone thought Emily cheated with the race car driver. Turns out she cheated on Jef with Ryan Bowers too. OK< that part is a guess, but she did say football player, so I went with Ryan.
I've worked on Bachelor/Bachelorette. After Jen Scheft screwed everything up and basically picked nobody the producers make certain that each participant picks a mate as stays with them for a minimum of 6 months, even if there is no relationship. The "couples" that aren't couples are only seen at events and never randomly in public.
ReplyDeleteThe lure of these shows isn't what happens to them after. The cat ladies of the world love watching them "fall in love" and the fairytale of true love. If people cared if they broke up 2 minutes after their season ended this show would of been dunzo years ago.
ReplyDeleteMike Fleiss is a genius and pond scum at the same time.
HA HA CAT LADIES UNITE!
DeleteMatt Leinart is the player she supposedly texted and Jef found out
ReplyDeleteI guess I am a "cat lady"!! I watch for the drama/craziness, if you really want to know!
ReplyDeleteI love watching this show to make fun of it.
ReplyDeleteOoo! @Whocaresnow12, please dish! I do watch the shows, mostly for the travel scenes to tell you the truth, and I've always wanted to know what goes on behind the scenes.
ReplyDeleteI heard about this Jef/Emily scandal, but didn't they go together to Africa for his business to build wells in poor communities to provide clean water? That seems a little extreme for a couple that's faking it. Also, Emily only got $150k for the show, that's not very much to split, especially because Jef's company is doing really well.
Really, is it worth it for Jef to move to Charlotte, get close to little Ricki and attend parent/teacher interviews? That's a lot to get out of in a few months time.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I like to live in La La Land, but my gut tells me these two are the real deal. I agree. Getting Ricki involved is a bit much to be pretending???
ReplyDeleteI think its all BS. As a mom, I don't see why he would be Ricki's new soccer coach, taking her to school, and so hands on, if Emily was paying him. I can't even imagine that any person would mess with a kids head that bad, publicly. Enty needs to stop believing everything he reads in the tabloids. If people want to see drama, why don't they catch up with Courtney and Ben.
ReplyDeletewhocaresnow: PLEASE SPILL SOME MORE!!
ReplyDeletehonestly, why have these shows? why do people support this shit?
ReplyDelete@whocares - spill the dirt! Inquiring minds want to know!!
ReplyDeleteThese two puzzle me. Can't make up my mind whether I think they are a legit couple or a farce. From what I see, Jef seems very involved with Little Ricki, which makes me hope that he and Emily are a real couple so as not to screw with an innocent child's head. But at the same time something seems off about them. Can't put my finger on it.
@whocaresnow, i liked jen! especially liked her with andrew. what did you think of them??
ReplyDeleteStudio created hype to keep people intrested in the bitchlorette isnt real hollywood dish. i get better gossip on my weekend nights out in la... or even when in san francisco... please stop buying into this manufactured crap and get back to the good stuff enty... and i say this with respect ive read this blog since the very beginning.
ReplyDeleteI have zero idea of who either one of them are.
ReplyDeleteJen was horrible to deal with. After she got rid of the first couple of guys , who were literally psycho and scared me, the guys were very entertaining when they were alone in the house. You could have taken Jen off the show and just featured the guys and it would have been a far better show.
ReplyDeleteAs for this new couple, if your getting your info from stories and interviews in gossip rags and tabloids, and buying into it, then I worry for your sense of reality. Approx 90% of what you read are stories made up by managers and PR people. These "well placed sources" are in a PR office in LA or NY trying to keep their clients relevant. That's how they get paid. The very first time I learned this lesson is when Jennifer Lopez and her PR agent got together and "leaked" the photos from her secret first marriage right as "Selena" was about to be released. (FYI: she was a bitch then and is still a bitch now).
Thanks for the dirt alert. Just wondering why you read this stuff (or this website) if you know it's mostly made up BS. No disrespect meant. Just curious.
DeleteI've never watched the bachelor/bachlelorette but from my celebrity gossip habit (not that I think these people are celebrities) I know that he was raised Mormon, and I was also. I know he had a good value system instilled in him at an early age. Even if he's moved from the faith as I have, those virtues stick with you. I wonder if he's figured out that he's being played but still genuinely cares about her daughter which is why he's stayed close to her. He wants to do the right thing, knows it won't happen but still wants to protect the child. That's my bet.
