Blind Item #1
This B list actor/ B list comedian with A list name recognition was seen doing shots of tequila before and after he performed the other night. Not to mention the couple more he had on the way to his car and driving himself away. Considering he has always said he is sober and mentions it almost everyday, perhaps he should be more honest with himself.
Hmmm, what actor/comedian says he's sober but isn't.....I got nothin'...
ReplyDeleteUhhhh, just about every one.
DeleteDane Cook
ReplyDeleteRussell Brand? He just started a NA tour.
ReplyDeleteIf it's him, it gives me the sads...I love Russell.
Tracy Morgan?
ReplyDeleteLola
ReplyDeleteI think you got it. He fits the description perfectly.
Russell Brand. He ran over some orange cones (pic on Daily Mail).
ReplyDeleteDane says he's never even tasted alcohol in his life, so he fits, but the Russell guess fits just as well.
ReplyDeleteI third Russell Brand.
ReplyDeleteJimmy Fallon?
ReplyDeleteRobin Williams - as he never was that funny and def. not a very good actor. and those B´s would be really very generous.
ReplyDeleteRussel brand
ReplyDeletebut is he really b list????
Jay Mohr
ReplyDeleteI personally think Robin Williams is hilarious and is def A List. He's an amazing actor Unknown! Watch the Bird Cage or Good Will Hunting (won an oscar for that one)
ReplyDeleteInteresting, I saw Russel Brand's show 2 weeks ago in Boston. He had a bottle of Jack Daniels (or some other brown liquor) on the stage as a prop, and used it to illustrate his behavior when he was a drinker.
ReplyDelete@auntliddy...that's part of the problem, isn't it? When you google "comedien+sober" you get just about every famous comedien ever.
ReplyDeleteI really hope it's not Russell but the "b actor/a name recognition" thing really makes it seem so.
Russell Brand. I hope not, but it probably is.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Russell Brand...the tool.
ReplyDeleteThis is a Stand Up Comedian
ReplyDeleteRussell Brand
ReplyDeleteHis sobriety seems to be a big part of schtick.
Lola's guess FTW... Russell Brand! Daily Mail has an article up today, he just had a show in West Hollywood. They said he was "driving erratically" as he was leaving, running over two traffic cones and nearly hitting a wall.

Dane
ReplyDeleteDane
ReplyDeleteIt is great if it is Russell Brand. Anything to get him off my TV screen.
ReplyDeleteI laugh at the Jay Mohr guess. That dude is a Q list actor and maybe a T list comic. I can't imagine the things he has had to do to get all those failed sitcoms. And I don't know what he is on to be able to sleep next to that thing that used to be hot.
Ha! His wife RUINED her face. Don't these actresses that get all that plastic surgery realize it makes them virtually unhireable? What roles can they get when they look like that?
DeleteI'm with rejected CB on this one; but, Robin has really lost it the last couple of years. I do think this is creepy Russell.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm misreading the post, but Brand says he's sober now (and has been saying it for awhile) but has not always said that - didn't he talk about drinking/getting high while he was drinking/getting high? Weren't there drug/alcohol bits on his UK TV show before he got big in the US?
ReplyDeleteUnknown, you're insane. Robin Williams is a brilliant actor...but I will admit his stand up is an acquired taste for some.
ReplyDeleteBrand makes a very big issue out of being sober as in drugs/alcohol. He talks about it a lot, since he had terrible issues with substance abuse problems and tries to help others who go through the same.
ReplyDeleteI soooo hope this isn't him, he has been sober for almost 10 years now:(
It does fit him, he just started a new tour.
*gives me the sads*
I'd prefer Russell Brand. I think Robin Williams is a fantastic actor (Night Listener, What Dreams May Come, wow!), wish he'd do more films.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Mathew Perry? I have been watching his new show and I can't tell what he is up to?! He seems wasted most of the time. But I hope I am wrong. I hope it's just his style of comedy.
ReplyDeleteI also love Robin Williams - The Birdcage alone shows how good he is. I haven't seen much of his current standup, but his old stuff from the 70s was hysterical.
ReplyDeleteDane Cook annoys me so I hope this is him.
ReplyDeleteOn twitter, Brand said that he was performing at Largo in LA which was the other night.
ReplyDeleteHe should be more honest with himself, agreed.
Happily this isn't Hal Sparks, who I love dearly. Seriously, watch Charmageddon. He has always said he's never touched alcohol or drugs but outside of anyone who loved Queer as Folk I don't think he has anything even approaching A list name recognition.
ReplyDeleteStigs84..Did you wander over from another post?
ReplyDeleteWhile the description fits, no way this is Russell Brand. One thing he IS is a terrible driver!!
ReplyDeleteSherry, I think stigs84 is referring to Jay Mohr's wife...Nikki Cox or something like that? Plastic surgery RUINED her face. :(
ReplyDeleteDidn't Robin just have heart surgery? I think it scared him straight for now.
ReplyDeleteWhile lying to himself, hope no one gets hurt!
ReplyDeleteI hope it isn't Brand. Loves him!
ReplyDeleteAnd Robin Williams is wicked talented. I'll give anyone dissing Brand and Williams a pass today, but it better not happen again. (Yes, I am joking. Sort of...)
Just to be different, George Lopez?
ReplyDeletePlease don't be Craig Ferguson.
ReplyDeleteIt does sound like Russell Brand, though I hope it's not because he definitely seemed like he had done really well to get clean.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that doesn't totally fit is that he doesn't talk about being sober every day. Actually I've barely heard him mention it. I knew, because I'd read his whole story about it, but when I told my husband he had no idea. He thought Russell was drunk or high all the time. And he's not as into celeb stuff as I am but he's not totally out of the loop.
I immediately thought of Craig Ferguson, then remembered that his show was on the air so I flipped to his channel and when I got there he was right in the middle of talking about being sober. He talks about it a lot.
ReplyDeleteI just don't want it to be him.
