Blind Item #1 - Easy Easy Easy

Which troubled actress who used to be B list when she is a Tween but is probably more famous now than she ever was as an actress has been calling random people in her phone and asking them if they want to come over and have sex. Straight out asking them. No beating around the bush. Just come over right then if you want to have sex with her. She says it a little more crudely, but the point is made. The thing is she is calling every guy in her phone regardless of whether they were a boyfriend or if they are married or if they are old or young. The four people I spoke to all turned her down. She is getting yesses, but not as many as you think.

  1. Sounds like Amanda Bynes to me.

  2. Totally Amanda Bynes.

  3. I agree with the Bynes guess. This girl sounds like she is bipolar.

  4. Ahh, no doubt one among the dozens of mature, healthy, productive now-adults that Nickelodeon and Disney have cranked out of their child-star machine...

    1. Yes. I have just recently stumbled upon Monarch Programming. It seems that Disney/Nick is a frontrunner in this.

  5. So sad....I am sincerely glad they are turning her down. I hope they are following it with encouragement to get help.

  6. Not mentioned whether she asked to be paid for sex...

  7. Sad, sad, sad. @trouble bubble, I'm thinking she doesn't even want to be paid for the sex. I think she just wants the attention and "love". :(

    ReplyDelete
  8. Her agent, management team, and lawyer have all dropped her.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Yeah - if she were getting paid, pretty sure that would have been mentioned.

    ReplyDelete
  10. This is so sad. I feel bad for Amanda. This won't end well for her. She doesn't have the evil inside her like LiLo does and will completely self destruct.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Are Bynes' issues mental like Britney or drug induced like Lohan? It's weird that she was fine, heck she did a movie with Colin Firth, and then crazy. It seems there is a percentage of girls get into the business young and just lose their sanity at some point.

  12. @dia papaya
good point. Sad but true, evil LiLo and confused Amanda.

    ReplyDelete
  13. @dia papaya, I have never thought of it that way, but you are dead on! Lindsay has that evil inside her. Best description I've heard.

  14. ITA Dia...she doesn't seem to be a bad person, just a self-destructive one. My daughter and I spent many hours watching her on All That and The Amanda Show. She is so talented and very funny. It is heartbreaking to see her go through this. I sincerely hope she pulls herself together and lives a happy, productive life.

  15. I find it deplorable to air such a story fact or fiction. There has already been suggestions of mental health issues and major abuse, and this kind of focus could contribute to self destruction. I am disgusted at the media's desire to witness a downward spiral and especially this post.As a mother and a woman I empathise with her so I urge people not to enter into the guessing game for this Blind. It can only do more harm to an already trouble soul.

  16. Can't someone in authority take pity and put this kid in an institution? In Florida it's called the Baker Act - I'm sure all states have something similar where you can be involuntarily committed for a few days - time enough to get her off her high and give her a chance.

  18. Amanda Bynes. Agreed with others, the lady needs help. Sad.

  19. At first I thought it could also be Lindsay, but Lindsay would not have sex for free! Going with Bynes for this one.

  20. You're on a gossip site, warrior. If you don't like the game you should drop out of it.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Like a couple others, I first thought LiLo, too, but this could be Bynes after reading the other posts. I also agree that Bynes seems to be sick, not just a cracked out ass, and I really feel for her.

    ReplyDelete
  22. I actually think its Demi Lovato. I think a lot more people know her name now than as a tween with idol. Amanda Bynes headed two hit shows and under enty's definition of tv a list for Jennifer Love Hewitt, I think she would be a-list as a tween.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I was thinking Lindsay Lohan....

    ReplyDelete
  24. The three "easy"s in the header suggest AB to me. I saw somewhere that her parents were moving to California to be closer to her. Maybe they're going to intervene in a major way. I hope so.

@Elizabeth--I admit it, I really liked What a Girl Wants.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Yup...Amanda. Poor thing.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The only reason I don't think it's Amanda other than the A-list/B-list thing because that can be defined differently to every person, is because isn't kid cudi supposed to be the entire reason for her downfall? I don't remember anything to imply she wasn't still with him.

Plus people that aren't into celeb gossip keep coming up to me at work because they know that I am and ask me who demi lovato is and where she came from. Im not saying she's as famous as Amanda, but I do think she's more famous now than she ever was and Amanda was pretty famous in her own right in my opinion.

  27. During manic phases, many bipolars become very sexually promiscuous. Bipolars usually become full blown in early to mid twenties. From AB's public actions, I think her primary diagnosis is pretty clear.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I don't understand how Amanda gets sympathy, but Lindsay is evil? Evil?! Flat-out EVIL?! Really?! That's pretty intense. How do we figure one isn't as sympathetic as the other?

Not on any side, but just curious.

    ReplyDelete
  29. But yeah AB guess is a lot more in your face haha, with all the antics she's pulling these days, so your prob right. It kinda makes me sad tho if people think she's more famous now than for all those shows and movies she did as a kid.

  30. The EPA should check Disney's water source. Whatever is in there needs to be filtered out.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Also, people with bipolar disorder -- for God's sake, not "bipolars" -- aren't always hypersexual, and those who are hypersexual don't always have bipolar disorder. Unless someone here is her personal psychiatrist, her diagnosis is NOT necessarily clear.

    ReplyDelete

    1. I very clearly stated "many", not "all".

I also clearly stated, "from... her public actions", I never claimed to have personal knowledge.

Finally, the using the term "bipolars" is no different than using the term "schizophrenics" to refer to people with those particular orders.

You should read before you blindly attack.

  32. Mood disorders and stimulant abuse can lead to hypersexuality -- Also, personality disorders tend to manifest in aggression, sexuality and erratic behavior toward others. A personality-disordered person facing anxiety will experience impulses to use drugs or to have some kind of sexual experience to fill the sense of emptiness or to escape the state of mind. It could be a bunch of things.

It can't be Amanda Bynes. She was A-list.

Has anyone else seen the 'meltdown' she had on camera? It's so sad when she says that she has to be pretty on camera.

  34. *Wondering if she called Dan Schneider. Wondering if he turned her down for being too old.*

    ReplyDelete
  35. I totally pictured Amanda on the phone, like her character in She's The Man, calling and completely straight faced "Wanna F***?"

I would probably turn that down too, if I was a guy.

    ReplyDelete
  36. if this is Amanda and how can it not be, whoever are the men that are taking her up on her offer. Are pieces of shit and should not be taking advantage of her like this. She needs help not more degradation in her life. Fuck them.

  37. @lola is just nicer to say "people with Bipolar". Using "bipolars" implies that we are defined by it, it's what we are. You wouldn't call ppl with cancer "Cancers".

    ReplyDelete

    1. I truly am sorry if my use of the term "bipolars" was hurtful.

Within the academic community, it is used with at least some frequency. Many people with bipolar disorder self identify, and as a group, as "bipolars"; in fact, many support groups are labeled "Such and such bipolars" or "bipolars with such and such". Having said that, I don't wish to cause you to feel denigrated and, as I said, I am sorry.

  38. My goodness, Lola. My comments were hardly a "blind attack." Overly sensitive you are today, methinks.

And yes, person-first references for those people with disabilities IS preferred and correct. I am right about that. Feel free to disagree if you must, but I promise you, "people with schizophrenia" is preferable to "schizophrenics," as is "persons with bipolar disorder" as opposed to "bipolars."

  40. Diagnosis can be stigmatizing, and as the bipolar one and two categories have expanded to eat up more and more cases, the term is entering the slanguage and I'm seeing it used a lot everywhere. These days, a medication-induced manic episode can lead to a bipolar diagnosis that leads to multiple psychiatric medications, which leads to a life being lived as a diagnosis itself. You see more and more children who introduce themselves as a diagnosis first (I have This Syndrome, or That Disorder). We all use the terms a little too much, and I've seen mental health professionals walk out of a seminar on "Do not use the disorder as a shortcut to describe the patient or client" and immediately describe someone as "a schizophrenic" or "a bipolar person" without even noticing it.

On the Bynes subject, her neighbors were noting all kinds of behavior that seemed to indicate a mood and/or thought disorder, with confused angry presentation and lots of listening to imaginary voices and speaking to objects and people who weren't there. Plus sleep interruptions, etc. I don't like Bynes much as a person (except inasmuch as I try to like all people) but her money has insulated her from being locked up. A person who can pay their rent and bills and avoid criminal activity can usually also avoid treatment for their mental health issues, as long as the bills are paid and no violence occurs.

  41. Lola, I'm not sure if you were talking to me or to djphob. Terminology CAN be sticky, as Barton also pointed out.

I also apologize. I suppose it was my "for God's sake" that seemed harsh? Not cool on my part. See, not only am I in the social work field, but I have two DMS diagnoses of my very own, so I tend to get a bit overly sensitive myownself. I don't wish any rancor here with you. Please continue to have a great Friday.

  45. girl needs someone to put her in the hospital on a 5150 hold, and get her some treatment. She's ill. Damn, we need more mental illness awareness and treatment and health insurance coverage in this country! Maybe we wouldn't have so much drug addiction problems if we did, huh?
    Bueller?

  46. Oh my! So much drama since I left...

I meant evil in that, the sweet LiLo from The Parent Trap is no more and has been replaced by "The Evil". If she was a friend or relative, I would have cut the cord a long time ago for my own health and sanity. She has chosen that path and that's her choice, but I don't have to support it or watch her "movies"

While Amanda could maybe turn it around after some help. I think she still has a chance. I hope after some Papa Spears-type intervention she can get it together.

What do I know? I just read gossip.

  47. here's video of AB's struggle with papparazi(sp? another z maybe?)

    http://www.etonline.com/news/125194_Amanda_Bynes_Shocking_Paparazzo_Struggle/index.html#921sf

why don't people who have a tendency to be tabloid bait just move? go camping? take an extended vacation? if i had someone run up on me from behind and start taking pictures thatclose, i would be screaming for the cops. how frightening. i don't understand why that commando style photography is kosher.

  48. I guess I'm a schmuck, because there's still this small part of me that feels bad for LL. With that family of hers, did she really EVER stand a chance?! It's appalling how badly she's been enabled. I'm not saying she can't or shouldn't take responsibility for things NOW, but come on...nobody has ever told this girl "no" in her entire life. I can't imagine how off-the-rails *I* might go in that situation, you know?

Here's hoping they could BOTH turn it around, is my main point. We are all so tough on LL with a passion, and she's the same age as Amanda! They are BOTH 26. I don't even want to mention where I was at 26. Perhaps Amanda's been as out-of-control for years and we just don't know. That's all.

  49. @kelgela: Where can I find a video of that meltdown thing?

    ReplyDelete
  50. @ Snapdragon - Amanda's father is or was a practicing dentist in Thousand Oaks just outside of LA, so her folks already live in California. Someone on CDaN posted that AB's uncle made a statement that her parents are in denial about their daughter's behavior/illness.

  51. @dizzyeggs:

"why don't people who have a tendency to be tabloid bait just move? go camping? take an extended vacation?"

Most people embroiled in scandal probably would. Amanda doesn't seem to realize what is happening because she is not in the real world at this point. She's definitely going through some kind of mental crisis.

  52. Crap...I just noticed another random "but" that didn't belong (@AKM, I don't want you to think I wasn't being sincere to you too when I apologized, I was.)

I downloaded a new keyboard to my hone and it keeps inserting random "and"s and "but"s after commas. It's really bugging the crap out of me.

  53. Arrrrggggg...

    phone...not "hone"

    Screw it.

    ReplyDelete
  54. @AKM- Bynes seems to be suffering from some kind of real mental disorder, while Lindsay just sounds like a straight-up asshole.
You don't ever read about AB being mean to anyone, just confused and self-destructive.
But every single item I have ever read about Lohan involves her lying, stealing, entitlement, finger-pointing, self-pitying, whining, laziness, rationalizing, self-absorption, more stealing, vandalizing, running over people's feet, more whining, meanness, irresponsibility, denial, etc., and I'm leaving out the drinking/drugging/prostituting because those are personal choices and don't necessarily make one a bad person.
Every story. Not a one that's merely neutral (Lindsay went to the movies and pet a puppy!), every single one involves behavior that points to her being a terrible person.
I wouldn't go so far as to call her evil, because it's all so petty and transparent, but that girl is a worthless jerk. I'm sorry she has horrible, horrible parents, but there are plenty of people who do as well yet have somehow ended up being decent human beings.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Look at Christian Bale. He had the same type of parents.

When it comes to interacting with Joe Public, you couldn't ask for a nicer star.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Agree with @AKM re Lohan not being evil.
    @dia I get your clarification :-)

    ReplyDelete
  57. AB 's parents have been trying to sell their home for 1 year. They just leased it out so they can relocate to be with their daughter. Any shrink that evaluates her should consider her past association with Dan Schneider.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Just for the record, schizophrenia usually first becomes apparent in people when they are in their late teens to mid twenties, so for the Britneys & Amandas, etc. to go from seemingly normal too "something's wrong" in their early to mid twenties is actually right on par from a clinical standpoint, about half of all schizophrenics don't start having overt symptoms until their twenties - and it can come on very suddenly, especially if triggered by drugs, pregnancy, or a majorly traumatic or stressful life event.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Anonymous7:17 PM

Okay folks, lets recall that Amanda Bynes said that she was retiring at nineteen or something crazy young like that. Why would you retire when you're just starting out in your career? I'm thinking fragile psyche, as well as extreme trauma from sexual abuse as a child star. The feeling of I just want out, I just want out of this sick horrible business, I've got to get away!" That sounds plausible to me, and the stories that are coming out about her extremely mentally unstable behavior, locking herself in a dressing room, talking to herself, stripping to her real bra and doing her makeup for ten minutes in spin class. I don't think that she's mentally stable and this is not the business for the weak and insane. Not the business at all, throw child stardom on top of it and an m.i.a family? Her only hope is to get on a 5150 and be held against her will in a mental hospital and get a psych evaluation, mark my words this is how this is going to go. She can't take care of herself, operate a motor vehicle, she will warrant enough scrutiny to have someone professional sit down with her, see the signs and then she'll go the way of britney. She will be medicated, protected, hopefully kept out of the spotlight and retired to a nice farm somewhere with plenty of grass for her to run free on all day long. I'm sorry about that last part. My sense of humor is very inapropriate. Maybe when Daddy is picking his precious innocent meal ticket up from Bellevue in a strait jacket and hooker heels he'll realise he shouldn't have thrown his preteen daughter unsupervised into the shark pit of Hollywood and it's pedophile culture for money.

  60. Agree with mwynn...nice to see that everyone worked out the issues without turning the comments into a hatefest. Nice indeed :-)

  61. I think she might be taking meth and I also do believe she was abused. I feel sorry for her. But, a lot of her behavior appears to be "methy".

    ReplyDelete
  62. Amanda needs to spill the Dan Schneider dirt. She could be the pebble that starts the avalanche.

    ReplyDelete
  63. I just read about Dan Schneider and if it's true, I'd go to prison for what I would do to that man. Seriously, he needs to be thoroughly investigated and all the kids he molested should come forward, they aren't to blame! But like all pedos, he makes them feel responsible.

Wonder if he's the common denominator among all the young troubled Hollywood set? Even Corey F & H said they were molested and that it happens way more than ppl think.

That would certainly explain a lot of behavioral/drug/self destructive issues with all these former tween stars.
